Was reading up on this "breakthrough development using stem cells to create a human embryo, yet since it was not from a fertilized egg they are not calling it a human life technically, so they use this as an excuse for calling this technology "ethical".
Science and medicine really took a leap into what is really God's realm, that of conception of human beings, "fertility treatments" that manipulate bodies and hormones, fertilizing in vitro, cloning, as well as the various ways we try to we try to eliminate life before birth or even conception. This tampering with the very nature of the creation of life to control it is not from God. But we have fallen far down the slippery slope. Reproductive research and health services are playing at being god in this area of our society. I wish we could turn back the time to before ideas like Eugenics and Genetic engineering began. But alas, I think we have gone over the brink. It was only a matter of time.
Genesis 11:6 says "And the Lord said, "Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language, and this they begin to do (Towe of Babel); and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do."
In our day, language is not a barrier in Science anymore. We have come again to the "Babel" of our time, when mankind can think together and accomplish whatever they imagine to do.
There will be a judgment for this, just like the flood of Noah's day, and the scattering of the people from Babel. This time, it most likely will be the judgment promised at the end of the age. The upside is, Christ will return and destroy all who oppose Him and redeem all who believe to the fullest. Praise be to God.
A fortified city (2 Sa.20:16) where Sheba had taken refuge in his revolt against David. It is not to be confused with the great stone of Abel. The new cart bearing the Ark of the Covenant stopped at the place where the great stone stood (1 Sa.6:18). The Spirit has placed two tags here to give its significance. Firstly Joshua is a variant for Jesus and the phrase 'unto this day' similarly refers to the day of the Son. "Which stone remaineth unto this day in the field of Joshua, the Bethshemite". The place is associated with the sacrifice of Abel.
The difference between the stone of Abel and Abel Beth Maccah can be understood from another example. The place where Lot chose to settle, and he chose the cities of the plains leaving the other for Abraham to take.
Lord Jesus you know the cries of our hearts and the petitions we have made even here. I continue to ask. Please grant soon breakthrough. I ask for strong protection, deliverance, healing, salvation (those not saved), guidance and all the specific situations and circumstances previously mentioned. Please grant help to all in need on here and everywhere, esp. salvation. Please confront A about her behavior (please stop this thing with the 14year younger guy and please do not allow a pregnancy in her condition) and comfort K. and look after hear. Please heal M. Please help with the work situation. Thank you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
Father I come into agreement with this prayer and ask that you extend to all I know who are not saved (incl. family members and relatives) and all those unsaved relatives, friends and acquaintances represented on this site and all the unsaved. Thank you Father that you said that you want all to be saved and all to come to the knowledge of the truth ( 1 Timothy 2:4). In Jesus name. Amen.
And thou shalt make the breastplate of judgment with cunning work; after the work of the ephod thou shalt make it; of gold, of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine twined linen, shalt thou make it. (Ex.28:16-17)
The same foursquare specified for the most holy place is continued in the matter of garments, which symbolize righteousness. The office of the high priest was with reference to Jesus Christ the High Priest of our profession. (He.3:1). Righteousness of service was imputed to priests whose service stopped with death. For this reason foursquare refers to the earth.
Most holy place referred to a certain space. It is as distinct as God commanding Moses 'for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.' So he had no right to come near Him as he was, 'Take off your sandals' (Ex.3:5). God consecrates specific part for His purpose. His righteousness is established in terms of space.
Foursquare is the breastplate. It had to be a span in length and breadth when doubled, and consequently two spans long one way before it was doubled. Between these doublings, the Urim and Thummim were placed. This foursquare doubled so it carried the two stones, which refers to the fourth office of the High Priest. It is a breastplate of judgement which Jesus Christ as the Word represented grace and truth.
Jesus Christ as the fulfillment. Alpha Omega, the beginning and the ending(Re.1:8). Foursquare is applied to eternity where the holy city of God has same length, breadth and it relates to time. Thus the High Priest represented by Levitical priesthood has a fourth dimension which is of time. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever (He.13:8)
In the garments that God commanded Moses to make, for service, the Spirit gives qualities required under Levitical priesthood.
"And thou shalt make the breastplate of judgment with cunning work; after the work of the ephod thou shalt make it; of gold, of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine twined linen, shalt thou make it./ Foursquare it shall be being doubled; a span shall be the length thereof, and a span shall be the breadth thereof./ And thou shalt set in it settings of stones,(Ex.28:16-17)
Front and back
What is the significance of the foursquare being doubled? It has a front and back is it not?
When Moses requested God to reveal his face God would only reveal his 'backside' which gives us an insight into the narrative mode of the Spirit.
"Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live./ And the Lord said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:/ And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:/ And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.(Ex.33:19-23)".
The breastplate is for glory and beauty. That is the front. Its real purpose is in matters where the high priest was called to mediate. It was the breastplate of judgment, because he wore it upon his breast when he went to ask counsel of the Lord, to give judgment in any particular case; as also when he sat as judge to teach the law, and to determine controversies. (Le.10:11;De.17:8-9). So backside held the key to his office. It relates to Christ the Mediator. Glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ is the light of the knowledge, which is shed in our hearts. (2 Co.4:6)
So called from the province of Galilee, which bordered on the western side.(Matt.4:18). It was also called the "Sea of Tiberias," from the celebrated city of that name. ( John 6:1) At its north-western angle was a beautiful and fertile plain called "Gennesaret," and from that it derived the name of "Lake of Gennesaret." There are three names as given above to the same body of water associated with the life of Jesus. The same lake, the same Word.
Here we shall consider two events associated with this sea. We are all familiar with the Last Supper and it signaled the beginning of the end for the Son of man. After he is risen in St John 21:1-14 we are looking at the First Supper,- and it signifies life after life.
It is thus we need look at the apparent 'inconsistencies' that many scholars have pointed out. The truth of Synoptic gospels is established by God; and how John has been illumined to provide the miracle of the draughts of fishes after resurrection makes it true; equally true is the account of Luke. ( Luke 5:1-11). Luke is referring to fishers of men while John is introducing it as abundant life ahead of every believer because Jesus Christ is raised.
The Spirit sets the ark as foreshadow of believer called to be elect. All those who have made a covenant by sacrifice are similarly shut in (Ge.7:16) The believer is insulated from corruption within and without.
The ark is made of gopher-wood but just the same faith built it. "By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith."(He.11:7)
God specified the Ark of the Covenant (Ex.25:10-11)
God's instruction with regards to the specifications was not only for his family but also for His creation. As Adam before him Noah was His steward. "And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.(Ge.6:19-21)
While God judged all flesh they were to remain sealed within the ark volume of which is to be spiritually understood. In order to set in context we have the decree of God. "And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years."(Ge.6:3). This is pendent to the everlasting covenant. Days of man is set in relation to the day appointed for the Son and it is word based.
He shall not henceforth strive with man in the Man component, on the basis of the day of creation but in terms of the logos aspect of the Son who therefore represents the way for his salvation. The Spirit tags Gospel by the command number 12. Every man shall bear his burden and shall be responsible to keep this covenant "Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice."(Ps.50:5). Predestination disperses all spiritual blessings in his Son to man who is committed. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever.
"Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and alms deeds which she did.(9:36)
Peter raised Tabitha in the presence of the risen Christ for which the tag 'upper room' serves well.
We have another instance in the First Book of the Kings where the upper room served for the presence of God. Prophet Elijah accordingly took the dead child to 'the upper room' and. raised the widow's son to life. Thereafter he brings the boy down and presents him to his mother saying, "See, thy son, liveth". The upper room is special.
While we are studying of the conversion of Saul we saw it was from the world of 'now' into the world of the Spirit and before the presence of God and the throne of God where Christ sits on the right hand. So the upper room is defined as the presence of God where his promises are to be brought to pass. "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."(Ps.107:20).
The widow magnified the Lord who fulfilled His promise. "And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in thy mouth is truth."(1 Ki.17:17-24)
Heart of man is a spiritual space and not to be confused for the anatomical part. "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." (Ps.91:1) Shadow serves as a shield ( " I am your shield' Ge.17:1) and spiritually it explains,"that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them," was for the healing.
In the Acts of the Apostles we have an incident where St Peter raised the dead woman. (Ac.9:37-41)The Spirit is particular to state he did so in the upper room. It is a space or the face, so heaven acts in tandem with the earth. Jesus had promised his disciples, "Whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."(Matt.18:18). All the promises of God in him are yea and Amen..
The Spirit uses the face as a tag. Upper room serves as the face to which the Spirit introduces the creation account thus, 'The Spirit of God moved upon the face of waters."
We have several instances:
In the Lucan gospel we have a physical space earmarked where Jesus shared his last supper. "Then you shall say to the master of the house, 'The Teacher says to you, "Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?" '/Then he will show you a large, furnished upper room; there make ready.""( Luke 22:7-NKJV).
Later as commanded by the risen Christ the eleven disciples gathered together in an upper room in Jerusalem to choose a replacement for Judas who betrayed Jesus. They were there to keep the number twelve intact. It provided the command number 12 the doctrine of Christ, which established the spiritual credentials of the nascent church. The promise to them was,"if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven./ For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them."(Matt.18-19-20-NKJV)
King Solomon entered into an agreement with the king of Tyre for raising funds for building the Temple and his palace. He palmed off twenty cities in the land of Galilee, which were' good for nothing' and received a loan of six score talents of gold. When King Hiram came to visit the lands, he was displeased and called them Cabul meaning 'nothingness'.
In order to pay him back King Solomon however raised a levy. On "all the people that were left of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, which were not of the children of Israel."(1 Ki.9:29-30). This heavy burden creates a sequence events on which the kingdom would split as God had foreseen.
What made them 'the land of Cabul' but disobedience? (De.20:17) The disobedience of Israel was towards Jesus Christ is the heir of all things. The Spirit therefore uses the expression unto this day' 'And he (Hiram) called them the land of Cabul unto this day(v.12)'.
How wise was King Solomon? " For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent." (1 Co.1:19) Have we not seen the movers and shakers of this world shortchange the rights of the marginalized people but what does Jesus say,"Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven"? (Matt.5:10)
The body of Jesus Christ was prepared before the worlds began. "For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. / And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power. (Col.2: 9-10)" This single standard fullness of God is same as fullness of the Son. This is the measurement with which the holy city of God shall be measured. (Re.21: 17). It is that of an angel which refers to the Spirit of Christ. Every body that puts the righteousness is a spiritual body that speaks for man.
"For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens./ For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven"(2 Co.5:1-2) This is the invisible envelope of a spiritual body.
" If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked./ For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life./ Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit."(2 Co.5:3-5)
Whoever abides in him puts on Christ, whose position never changes. We abiding in him bear fruits. So spiritual body serves as an envelope. The indwelling Spirit is like an in-house tutor strengthening our spiritual lives. Our soul or inner man is consequently strengthened. (Ep.3:16-19)
It took 120 days to construct the ark. We are to be conformed in the likeness of the Son. 40x3 where three is the command number for the Son. The ark was three stories high. Our body, soul and spirit are to be wholly circumscribed by the mind of the Son who obeyed his Father totally.
The ark was 300 cubits long, 50 cubits broad, 30 cubits high. Of the last point with regards to the height we have this line," Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail(Ge.8:20a)"
What does this tell us? We are living two worlds at the same time, world of the flesh and of the Spirit. Water level gave 15 cubits above, signifying each believer negotiated heaven and earth alike trusting in the Lord God.
Noah's Ark also serves to indicate the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ is in mid-air than on the earth. For this reason New Jerusalem descends from heaven, glory of which all earth shall see. "Every eye shall see him', even so, Amen. (Re.1:7)
Symbolism of body wherever the Spirit uses, is bound up with the Sovereignty of the Will. Thus symbolism of a Lamb and a stone 'cut not with hands' are within direct frame of reference to the Son.
1 John 3:23-24 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
Human foetus , created by humans , from stem cells . We are for sure in the end days as science and it's proponents reach up to grasp the knowledge that pertains only to God , Thy Kingdom Come ! :) .
The first 9 verses discuss 4 horses which are likely the same spiritual entities listed in Revelation. The white horse is described as going with the black horse and somehow "quieting my spirit" in the north country. This seems to be referring to the angel himself; likely a scenario at that time with nations attempting to intrude from the north. Verse 10 mentions people coming out of captivity; which is somewhat paralleled in recent years with the Jews coming from Russia and other areas; and fulfilled completely during the Millennium after the Tribulation when captives are freed.
Verses 11-15 discuss crowning Joshua; but then mention the final fulfillment with "The BRANCH" starting in verse 12. The Messianic rule is clear here with the building of the Millennial Temple (verses 12-13); and the O.T. saints crowned as a "memorial" verse 14. Finally; verse 15 shows people from far off (probably nations throughout the world) and indicates these things happen "if ye will diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God." (v. 15).
We can see from this near and far fulfillments; as well as conditionally what would have perhaps been sooner in coming to pass with continual obedience; which of course is impossible in the law. We certainly can learn today to continue to be salt and light ( Matt. 5:13-14) so as not to allow spiritual decay farther before the Lord's return. Christ was necessary to fulfill the role of Priest for our justification but also wat the final Prophet as well as the King of Kings. Scripture demonstrates that the most godly have from time to time fallen short ( Numbers 20:10-13; Matthew 11:3). The Lord wishes to move in His Body the church but will withdraw His candlestick when we fall short ( Revelation 2:5).
Study Ezekiel 40-48 for further insights on the Millennial Temple as well as changes on the earth at that time.
the words knowing the judgements of God, implies they have a knowledge of God
Whether they profess to be a Christian or not
the righteous judgements of the Holy, Holy, Holy God will find them out! Hebrews 4:12,13
& will reward them according to their deeds, if not confessed with a godly sorrow unto repentance & forsaken, which is a reward according to their deeds also.
When God commanded Moses He specified, "And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.(Ex.20:25)". The stone referred to 'the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands '(Dan.2:45)'referred to Jesus Christ, 'the only begotten Son.' In Ezekiel's vision the altar of the temple also supplies the same idea.
"The altar hearth is twelve cubits long, twelve wide, square at its four corners (Ez.43:16-NKJV)" The Spirit establishes it in commemoration of the slain Lamb from the foundation of the world. Command numbers 12; and Four signifies Jesus Christ as 'the Saviour of the world'. For the same reason before making the tabernacle in the wilderness God commands Moses, "And thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof:(Ex.27:2a)."
From the context 'And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him(4:15b) it is more making Cain as the one 'most likely to succeed',- and in this sense he fits with the shrewd servant in the Parable of Jesus. "For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light. / I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings.( Luke 16:8-9-NIV)."
The Spirit disposes of Cain and takes up a new narrative in vv.25-26. This leads us to the generations of Adam proper. This alternative Genealogy carries all who would press into the nation built entirely out of the people of light. Thus the entire narrative from the separation of light from darkness (Ge.1:4) is about two nations of light and of wrath.
The genealogy in ch.5 has this peculiar construction.
For example vv.3-4
"And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:/
And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
In his own likeness prefaces Seth who is a double for the Son; he is called to be the heir of inheritance among children in light. The rest are consigned after the likeness of man.
One interesting feature of this genealogy is that Cain is conspicuous by absence of his name. It is as striking as absence of Aaron from the list of heroes of faith in ch.11 of the Book to Hebrews. The Holy Spirit left his name out for a definite reason. Cain was not in the likeness of the Son while Seth was.
The emphasis is built up by the term 'likeness.' Of Adam the Spirit introduces the generations of Adam with this statement, "In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him' He goes on to elaborate and evidently it is of the holy family, 'Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created'. Here from the construction of words we can understand what the Spirit is driving at,- Adam as the head is qualified by phrase 'called their name Adam' for the simple reason that Eve is included in him,-and it establishes her as symbol for the body of Christ. In the likeness of God points Adam in relation to Jesus Christ as the Son.
This justifies the last line in the Lucan genealogy, 'Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God(3:38). In short the Spirit was right in presenting Adam as a forerunner of Jesus, which St Paul takes in the ch.5 of his epistle to the Romans.
What about Cain? His genealogy is given separately in the previous chapter. "And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden(4:16).Of his descendant Lamech boasts thus: 'If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold(v.24)." Unlike the obedience we find in God the Son, what Cain has given Lamech is altogether different trait. Natural it would be to equate the mark of Cain antithetical to the name of the Father in the foreheads of the first fruits unto God (Re.14:1)
It signifies that they were separate from everyday reality. Peter at Joppa would go 'up upon the housetop' (Ac.10: 9) and 'the upper room' where Dorcas lay before Peter would raise the dead carries the same significance. (Ac.9: 36-43; 1 Ki.17:17-24). The Spirit isolates them in order to give us its spiritual underpinning. In setting this Spirit wants us to get into the spirit of heavenly things that run parallel to our workaday world. God made Abraham the Father of many nations. Isaac is the heir of promise. What is their relationship? He is the seed of Abram after the manner of flesh. In raising him to the father of many nations, the heir also has to rise correspondingly is it not? The Spirit presents Abraham as a substitutionary symbol; -in which Isaac 'thine only son' serves the model for the Son.
God tempted Abraham in the sense he had to become the Father of many nations, which is based on faith so he proved his DNA was same as that of God a Spirit. For this reason he was not to lead his son to anywhere but "And offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. /And they came to the place which God had told him of;"(v.9b)
The Spirit builds up Isaac in small steps, -"And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son" references to the wooden cross Jesus would carry to Calvary. Next we have this phrase, "And they went both of them together,"(Ge.22: 8-9) In the silence we may recall the words of Isaiah, "yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter."(Is.53: 7)
What is Mount Moriah? Here the Spirit is referring to Zion that God has founded with which the creation account began. This is the centre of the divine Will and it is to this that their faith had to rise. In short faith sets Abraham and his son as one. Isaac signified the Son the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world.
"And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham"(Ge.22:1)
Does God tempt man? Certainly not! The word of God is clear about it. ("For God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:"-Jas.1:13). In order to understand the story of Abraham and Isaac as intended by God, we can only understand its full significance from the manner the Holy Spirit has organized the Fellowship of God with Man.
The Man is Jesus Christ where both his deity and his humanity bears upon everyman who is brought into the fellowship. He is called to be saint . It is thus we find in the epistles of St Paul, "To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints" and yet another, "Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints " (Ro.1:7; 1 Co.1:2)
The Spirit is not referring to human nature as we in our workaday world tend to view temptation. An open door may tempt a saint for instance is precisely with regards to his human circumstances. Whereas a saint's world is set in an altogether different context. He is set in context of the world of the Spirit according to his own pleasure and not because he merited it. God does not tempt anymore than he has to remember as we read in this verse, "And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark." Temptation is letting Abraham know where his priorities lay and God desired that " I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect."(Ge.17:1)
As commanded of God Abraham took his only son along. "And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you." (22:5) Help provided by the young man hitherto covered only muscle power, which in the world of the flesh does count. But the intent of the Spirit is something else. So he purposely sets them higher than others who had accompanied them.
Hi Josephine. I think that the others on the ship all worshipped different gods and obviously their prayers were useless. When they asked Jonah and he told them that he was a Hebrew and worshipped God, it was a testimony to those on the ship that the God of the Hebrews is real because he was the cause of the storm. This fits with the narrative of Jonah being an accidental evangelist-he didn't want to go to Nineveh to tell the Ninevites to repent and turn to God (but ultimately did), he didn't go out of his way to tell those on the ship but only did when his hand was forced.
Notice though that the people on the ship must have believed that the God Jonah worshipped is real because they called out to God and perhaps turned to him as a result. Then when Jonah finally preaches to the Ninevites they also accept what he says.
One of the lessons that I take away from Jonah is that God uses who he wants to use and we don't have to be perfect people to achieve good things if God wills it, so none of us has an excuse, we should all be doing what God calls us to do (go and make disciples of all nations).
It is my belief that God (the True Author of Scripture) is speaking of our testimony. You see, all sin leads unto death; "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23 KJV. So how can there be a sin that leads NOT unto death? The only thing that makes sense is God is speaking of our testimony; you see, Christ's most scathing rebuke is "hypocrite". Keeping this in mind, hypocrisy "kills" our testimony! I can admit I'm a sinner and still Proclaim Christ's Healing in my life! For instance: If I proclaim that God healed me of drug addiction, yet I'm found to still be doing drugs I'm a hypocrite and "kill" my testimony. Yet, if I admit that I'm a sinner AND still suffer a multitude of sinful desires, but I proclaim that God healed my drug addiction fully to the point of destroying ALL desire for drug use, then, if I'm caught in sexual immorality I'm a sinner, yet if I never do another drug again then my sin of sexual immorality takes NOTHING away from my proclamation of God Healing me of drug addiction. Thus, there is a sin unto death and a sin NOT unto death; it's death of our Testimony! Above ALL knowledge of scripture, above ALL theological teachings, and above ALL religions is the testimony of The Lord Jesus Christ's Healing power in our lives. Testimony is actual PROOF that God is real!
It says, If any man see his brother, that is, a Christian, sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death.
It's God's will that if I see a brother or sister involved in a sin that is not unto death, and that's the rejection of Christ, but I can pray for every born again believer, and God will minister to them, because God will not allow His people to live in habitual sin, and I can pray according to His will.
But then he goes on to say that there is a sin unto death: And I do not say that he shall pray for it.
1 John 5:17 says that all unrighteousness is sin. That's the non-believer.And there is a sin that's not unto death.
All the sins that Christians commit are not unto death. The only sin in the bible that is unto death is in Matthew 12:31-32.
Jesus said wherefore I say unto you, all manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
And whosoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaks against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
The Holy Spirit is here to convict people of their need of Christ. If you reject His testimony, you have committed the unpardonable sin.
So he says I can't pray for someone who is rejecting Christ. I can't pray for them to get saved because that's between them and God. I just pray for His will to be done.
1 John 5:16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
Heavenly Father, I pray that You bless Scrosby with the right job. That You bless Your child with a prosperous career. Your child will give You all the honor and glory. In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Romans 1:21-32
Romans 1:32
the words knowing the judgements of God, implies they have a knowledge of God
The sin unto death is the rejection of Christ.
Hope this helps!
What is this sin that is unto death?
