    Greetings Jimbob,

Ok, I'll comment on the two passages from Mark.

Mark 11:26 KJV: But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Mark 11:26 NIV: The verse is omitted completely. I will comment though, that within Mark 11:25, the same meaning is expressed, i.e. if one does not forgive, neither will God forgive.

More relevant though, again is the footnote in the NIV: "This verse is not found in the earliest and best manuscripts of the NT, probably having been inserted from MT 6:15"; which IS included in the NIV. This means it's quite possible, or highly probable that the KJV copyists added it to coincide with Matthew.

But it is obvious that the NIV translators had no malice or corrupt motives with this passage, as you are suggesting.

Next; Mark 15:28 KJV: And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.

Mark 15:28 NIV: This verse is also omitted.

NIV footnote: "The earlier and more reliable Greek manuscripts do not have this verse. It was probably added from LK 22:37 (quoting Isa 53:12). Mark does not include many OT quotations."

The NIV copyists appear to put forth great effort as to why they chose to delete this verse, and in the text note they say that, "some manuscripts; v28 And the scripture was fulfilled which says, " He was counted with the lawless ones" ( Isaiah 53:12)."

I do not want anyone to have the impression that I'm attempting to prove the KJV translations are incorrect. On the contrary, my original intent was to respond to you questioning some passages in the modern Bible versions. With genuine respect, you may consider choosing to look into the footnotes and text notes of some of these versions. I wish I had time to reply to the numerous passages you've brought to the attention to those on this site. Perhaps now you may want to do so on your own.

    SoloScript,

True, I have not found the word trinity in the Bible, and it is a man made word to explain the (3) that bear witness in heaven.

The bible tells us the following:

    Genesis 1:26

"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."

In the above verse it says: "And God said, Let US make in our own image,

Who is God referring to when He says US? God could have said I will make, but instead He said "Let US make"

I believe that we find the answer to who the US is, in this verse:

1 John 5:7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."

There are three that bear record in heaven!

    The word Trinity meaning:

-the Christian Godhead as one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

-a group of three people or things

People refer to: trinity, triune, etc.

There are (3) entities in heaven, God, the Son, and the Holy Spirit! Amen

    SolaScrip,

True Christ Followers will be obedient to all of God's 10 Commandments as taught by Jesus in the New Testament."

Well, God's 10 Commandments are identical to Christ's Commandments. Christ didn't change, minimize or abbreviate them in any way. Christ is the Creator of all things and He created the Commandments - there would be no reason for Him to change or rescind any of them.

Christ speaks of obeying the Law, the 10 Commandments, just as they are taught by the scribes and Pharisees in Matt. 23:1-3. He says to "do as they say, but not as they do" because the teachers of the Law at that time were all hypocrites. They taught the 10 Commandments, but kept none of them. That passage proves that Jesus taught the literal keeping of the 10 Commandments, not just the essence, or spirit, of them in our hearts, etc.

Jesus stated, as you pointed out, that He kept all of the Father's 10 Commandments physically when He declared it in John 15:10.

We see that 1 John makes clear that we are to live as Jesus lived, obeying what He obeyed, in 1 John 2:6. That does not support the modern popular teaching that we are only to obey them in spirit. And if Jesus had any intention of teaching that Christians did not need to keep them literally, we would not have the record of the disciples keeping the Saturday Sabbath immediately after Christ's death on the Cross in Luke 23:54-56. We also would not see Paul being labeled by the elders as a "Keeper of the Law" in Acts 21:24.

"IF a Christian is filled with God's Holy Spirit they will naturally be following all of God's/Jesus Commandments."

I would agree with this, but that just means that the vast majority of professed Christians today are not filled with the Holy Spirit because most Christians do not obey the 10 Commandments.

Jesus says that it is the keeping of the 10 Commandments that is pre-requisite for receiving 'HIM' as the Holy Spirit in John 14:21.

    Gal 8:10,

"8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Who is going to have everlasting life? The one who sowes to the Spirit."

    Gal 4:25,

"If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit."

    Gal 3:15,

"Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto."

The grk says "testament" (grk diatheke), instead of "covenant". Actually it never says covenant, neither in the OT(Septuagint) not in the NT . Sometime this conversation about which one is right, testament or covenant has to start.

Father God, Joleenu and I declare perfect vision for her. God, you told us to heal the sick, so by Jesus's stripes Joleenu is healed. Thank you Jesus.

Father God, remind her family and her that our main focus is on pleasing you by our actions. We claim salvation for her family and friends through Bible studies.

Also Father God, bless Joleenu with a Christian husband whom both will bring up their children in a Christian home.

All this for Your honor and glory through Your Son Jesus Christ.

    God bless you Joleenu.

9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

10 Ye observe days (like Sabbath), and months, and times, and years.

    Gal 3:8-9

8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

    Gal 3:14

That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

    Gal 3:16

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

    Gal 3:26-27

26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

    Gal 3:29

And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

    Combine all of the above.

    Cor 1:11-12,

"11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ."

    Cor 2:2-3,

"1 Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also. 2 And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain".

How a humble man Paul was. Although he was tought the gospel by Christ Himself, he also felt that the other apostles who lived with Christ and heard His teachings had to verify what he knew. This is called humility.

    Gal 2:20,

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."

    Rom 6:3-5,

"3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:"

    Gal 3:27,

"For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ."

Water Baptism not necessary? Who claims that?

    SolaScrip,

True Christ Followers will be obedient to all of God's 10 Commandments as taught by Jesus in the New Testament.

Luke 9:23"And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me."

John 14:15"If ye love me, keep my commandments."

Keeping God's 10 Commandments - plus the additional commandment that Jesus emphasized - to Love each other.

John 15:10 "If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love."

Jesus warns all of us that we will not enter into Salvation without keeping God's Commandments.

Revelation 22:14 "Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."

IF a Christian is filled with God's Holy Spirit they will naturally be following all of God's/Jesus Commandments.

It's IMPOSSIBLE to live a worldly life and be a Christ follower.

    Happy Sabbath Day!

    Meditation for today, obedience.

2 Corinthians 10:5 "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"

    - Strive to keep worldly thoughts out of our mind.

    - Nothing in this world can compare to God's creations, and what he has promised us if we follow Christ.

    - Concentrate on being obedient to Jesus/God's words by turning from fleshy desires and replacing with prayer.

    - Pray for the ability to really love everyone as Jesus tells us to do.

Feel free to share your thoughts on obedience to God.

    Happy Sabbath Day!

    "Richard H Priday

INVISIBLE; NO IMAGE; NO IMAGINATION OF MAN

    Acts 17:29

    states:

Being then God's offspring, we ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man.

God has many warnings in scripture regarding not making idols of created beings or heavenly objects such as the moon and stars. This verse shows how God cannot be reduced to a man made concept or picture."

Would you not then agree that the concept of the trinity falls under such category as an "IMAGE and IMAGINATION OF MAN"?

If the concept is not taught anywhere in the Bible, that succinctly defines it as a creation/imagination of man.

The concept of God being three persons is an IDOL, it is an IMAGE created by the IMAGINATION OF MAN.

This IDOL has been sold to the masses, it has been delivered to hundreds of millions, if not billions, who accept and embrace it without question or personal investigation into its Scriptural authenticity.

It is a lie of man.

Hi Karen, I'm (Jesse A) Not the other gentleman Jesse

    That also posts here.

Speaking in tounges is not a (must) to always be interpreted .

Let us look to scriptures to seek the truth and not take verses out of context.

Speaking in tounges is a spiritual gift given from god.

It is not always a known language, like in acts on the day of pentecost.

We can find the answer in Corinthians 1 ch 14. If we read the whole chapter we find the whole truth and wont cherry pick it.

    Corinthians 1 ch 14 vs2

For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

This tells us it is an unknown language, a Holy language .That NO man understands. Including himself. It is the spirit in him that is speaking with God.

The Holyghost in the person speaks in a Holy language speaking directly to God. For edification of himself.

If God sees fit that speaking in tounges is for the church there will be an interpretation.

Now Speaking in tounges with no interpretation is very biblically sound as well .

We find this in the same chapter. 1 Corinthians ch14 vs 4

He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.

Yes by all means pray for the gift of prophecy along with all other gifts of the spirit, that God sees fit for our life and our purpose in him. That we may be obedient to Gods will .

I pray God will Bless you without measure, overflowing. With all the gifts of the spirit according to His will for your life.

    GB I love you all.

One eighty thank you for your comment, I really appreciate your kind words of encouragement.

The words of the LORD are pure words. ( Ps 12:6-7) (pure) is #2889; it means sound, unadulterated, uncontaminated.

Every word of God is pure ( Proverbs 30:5-6) (Every) is #3605; it means the whole, all, any or every.

For the word of God is (quick) and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword ( Hebrews 4:12) (quick) #2198 it means to live, alive. The word of God is Alive, the word of God is not confusion!

God is not the author of confusion ( 1 Cor 14:33) (confusion) is #181; it means instability, i.e. disorder, inconstant, unstable.

All these different modern version bibles that change words and completely leave out whole verses are instability, disorder, they are inconstant, they are unstable! Many have changed their own words several different times! ( 1 Cor 1:10) Telle us "that we all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among us, but that we be perfectly joined together in the same mind"..

( Jer 23:36) "for ye have (perverted) the words of the living God" (perverted) is #2015; it means to change.

The words of the LORD are pure words, (pure) #2889; sound, unadulterated, uncontaminated.

It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by ((every word)) that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. ( Mt 4:4)

    EVERY WORD!

"For we are not as many, which (corrupt) the word of God".. ( 2 Cor 2:17) (corrupt) is #2585; it means to retail, (to adulterate).

This is doctrine that's not sound doctrine, but it is instability, inconstant, and unstable! ( 2 Tim 4:3-4) IT IS CORRUPT!

Remember the words of the LORD are pure words, they are sound, (unadulterated), uncontaminated.

One eighty look up ( Ps 12:7) in your Niv bible and compare it with the KJB.

Also compare ( Mark 11:26) and ( Eph 3:9) in your Niv with the KJB.

And here's a really big one to compare ( Col 1:14)

This is the definition of (perverted), #2015 it means to change.

God Bless you, and all who seek His Truth.

There is only one True type of Christian.

Those who follow the ways of Christ. ( 1 Jn. 2:6)

The followers of Christ who obeyed the 10 Commandments immediately after Christ's death on the Cross in Luke 23:54-56 were True Christians even if the term wasn't recorded yet. Those who walked along side Christ were Christians while Christ was still alive physically upon the earth.

Yes, many profess to be, and call themselves, Christians today.

Yet True Christians obey the 10 Commandments as Christ obeyed and taught them. ( Jn. 15:10)( Matt. 23:1-3)

The Prayer of an Aged Man

    By: Robert A. Searles

"In thee,O Lord do I put my trust: Let me never be put to confusion.

Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape; incline thine ear unto me, and save me

Be thou my strong habitation; where unto I may continually resort:

thou hast given commandment to save me: for thou art my rock and my fortress.

Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man . For thou art my hope, O Lord God: thou art my trust from my youth

By thee have I been holden up from the womb; thou art he that took me out of my mother's bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee.

I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge

Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honor all the day.Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth. For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together.

O God, be not far from me; O my God, make haste for my help. My mouth shall show forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day, for I know not the number thereof.

I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness even of thine only. Now also when I am old and gray headed, O God forsake me not until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation; and thy power to every one that is to come.

Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee! Thou which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the

    earth." Psalm 71
