There is nothing like that (an international jihad day) on the news here, and we are very close to Israel. Definitely a new age in the Middle East (and consequently in the whole world) begins with the slaughter of the Israeli civilians. It is really sad how satan has put so much hate inside people's heart. The Jews and the Arabs are really brother nations speaking similar languages (Elohim vs Allah). The events of the last times are unfolding in front of our eyes. There has been a message from God, the same during the last 2-3 years, "Dark clouds are coming to earth, but my people do not fear, I am protecting you, you will see the plagues of Egypt occuring to people but nothing will touch you." Lets be awake and in prayers. Lets keep the light on in our lamps and be ready to receive the coming Lord. Blessings to all.
What is occurring in Israel, Gaza, and Lebanon is of great concern. It has the very real potential to becoming a war that involves so many other countries. Israel is defending itself from attack by those who live along their borders who have repeatedly month upon month sent bombs and missiles into Israel.
I heard today that tomorrow has been called to be an international day of Jihad. So, I think it is wise for people all over the world to prepare themselves for what may happen close to them and even to themselves. How important is it to encourage others to be right with God through Christ for tomorrow one may be killed. Also, it is important to be sure to have needed things to survive attacks in our own communities, but also around our country and world that will impact daily living. Perhaps today is a day to stock up on batteries, water, and propane fuel and canned food or other emergency food supplies, medicine, etc.
I hope that there will not be attacks tomorrow, but I do not think that those who have called for this Jihad are kidding or posturing.
We should be praying for God's intervention and help for all who are in danger. And also, we may be without technology for a time, so we will not be checking in here until technology services can be re-constructed. So, for everyone here, I say, God bless you today, tomorrow and always.
Heavenly Father, we come to You today in the name of Jesus and prepare our hearts for what may happen tomorrow. We ask that You intervene and cause the evil plans of those who wish to do acts of Jihad to fail. We ask that You protect those who are Yours and those we love who do not know You yet. may they be brought to faith in this time of threat and crisis. Guide Israel in this war so that Your justice will prevail. Keep us strong and courageous and confident in what You have given us in Christ Jesus. amen.
It costs something to be a disciple of Christ. To live for Christ is to let go of all our possessions, pick up our cross, and follow Him. We no longer live for ourselves, we live for the King. If Jesus can die on the cross for our sins, the least we can do if give him our life and proclaim the gospel to the whole world. "If you have not chosen the Kingdom of God first, it will in the end make no difference what you have chosen instead. By: William Law
"If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple." Luke 14:26
Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. "For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it." Matthew 16:24-25
"We have suffered from the preaching of cheap grace. Grace is free, but it is not cheap. People will take anything that is free, but they are not interested in discipleship. They will take Christ as Savior but not as Lord." By: Vance Havne
Jesse, Jesus tells us that its impossible to live a worldly life, and still follow him!
Roman: Remember Romans 3:23 "All have fallen short of the Glory of God". So you can run to another country if you want. But you cannot hide from evil... Unless you stay in God's grace. To be truly safe one must rest in Yahweh's arms. One who truly knows Christ is never afraid of mankind. Do you know Jesus Christ? Call on Him now. He stands at the door waiting for an invite.
You are saying"a thousand years is symbolic" by ignorance,Peter Apostle previously warned to be not ignorant as you manifest yourself be. To speak of the Word of GOD -the Word is GOD - , first of all it is necessary to have the Spirit of GOD, understand? The natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of GOD, neither CAN HE KNOW THEM,because they are spiritually discerned.
You said"one day could also be as a million years",but according to the Word of GOD what you said it is FAKE,a misleading interpretation contradicting what the Holy Spirit said by Peter Apostole- 2Peter 3:8, and also contradicting what Moses said in his pray to the Lord GOD- Psalm 90:4- ,saying:"a THOUSAND YEARS in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past".Yeah, the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of GOD:neither can he know them,because they are spiritually discerned.
Your thinking is from a human perspective,a stumblingblock, not from GOD's perspective.Your interpretation and misleading message is similar or even the same as Genesis 3:1,and is good for nothing,if not for it exclusively be burned with everlasting fire.
The kingdoms of THIS CURRENT DEVIL' s WORLD are become the Kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ, - Revelation 11:15- , and the dragon, that old serpent,which is the Devil and Satan,he will be chained,and will be cast down,even in this current millennium,into the bottomless pit for a thousand years,that he should deceive the nations no more,till the thousand years should be fulfilled.
I saw thrones,and Judgment was given unto them that were sat upon the thrones:I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of JESUS,and for the Word of GOD,and they will live and reign with Christ a THOUSAND YEARS.The rest of the dead will not live again until the thousand years be finished.And when the thousand years expire,Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,and shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth.
Oseas, might I suggest another possibility concerning "time management", not to be "argumentative" in any way either. Matthew 1:17.. "So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations, and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations, and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations. Just a thought.
Lord Jesus please pour out the living water on us. Continuing to ask for strong protection and breakthrough for us and all in need and for you to fight our battles. Please grant salvation to our unsaved loved ones Father and help us be ready to meet you in the clouds Lord Jesus. Please work healing and deliverance in us and all others who are crying out to you for the same. Please restore peace to Israel and Jerusalem and I pray that both Jews and Palestinians will come to know you as their Lord and Savior Jesus. Amen.
Yes, I believe we are very close. Lord Jesus please help us to be ready to meet you. Thank you that you are the author and finisher of our faith and that salvation belongs to you Lord and that you work in us to will and act in accordance with your pleasure. Please Father rescue many souls still including our unsaved loved ones. Pour out your Spirit in a mighty way. Thank you.
"And theLordset a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him./And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden." (vv.15-16)
First we shall take up the significance of the mark that God had set upon him. God is a Spirit whose mark cannot go against his holiness. Of his perfection Jesus had thus to say, "For he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust."(Matt.5:45) Here we are on sure ground to say that we see the Spirit of grace is in operation. Just as He called out Adam and created him in his own image so he is a double for his Son, he set the mark to remind of the Son whom He shall send in fullness of time. As the Word become flesh there could only be one mark that fits here.
As the son of perdition is marked 666 God set 12 as the mark of Cain. By the same rationale we have this verse in connection with Noah again another double for his Son, "And theLordsaid, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years."(Ge.6:3) Life of man is formally established in terms of the Gospel of God so this number appeared frequently. We have 12 tribes of Israel and 12 disciples.(Matt.10:1)
After his Ascension the eleven disciples cast lots for tha apostle to take the place of Judas Iscariot. Here also the Spirit meticulously gives us the number 120 who gathered in the upper room. (Ac.1:15) The Spirit uses the number 12 to signal the rounding off the body of Christ and he employs the Min-Max mode of narrative. Thus the city of New Jerusalem coming down from heaven is in multiples of 12. "Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife./And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending..." (Re.21:9-10)
Does knowledge of the mark add to our spiritual growth? I think not.
Notice the word 'again used by the writer to the Hebrews. He is clearly referring to Haggai. "Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain." In the second instance while we speak of God shaking the heavens and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land let us not forget Jesus has gone up to heaven even as Moses did. What things that cannot be shaken may remain is what is founded on the foundation of the risen Christ, the Church. It is New Jerusalem and we are no longer considering the old but the new heaven and the new earth. What happens in Jerusalem of old is insignificant and sum total of it shall be nothing. Isaiah describes it as though God has dismissed it as a waste heap."And he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness."(Is.34:11b). "Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain."Ps.127:1-2)
God has put up a marker saying "This property is condemned." Notice the expression forever and ever in vv. 9-10? This is to be spiritually understood. The smell (or smoke) arising from the stench rises even to heaven. Cleansing of the world ushers a new heaven and new earth. Forever wherever used is in relation to the Son.
"And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch./It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever."
Time doesn't exist in God's realm, no beginning and no end.
One day is as a thousand years, that is symbolic, one day could also be as a million years.
It's just ONE DAY, TODAY.
Christ was resurrected and it became TODAY; the day of salvation, then, in our time frame, tomorrow, AGAIN, became TODAY the day of SALVATION, over and over for the last 2000 years, It's ALWAYS, TODAY the day of salvation, no beginning and no end.
Ephesians 3:21 ...... through out all AGES ......WORLD WITHOUT END ......
Ecclesiastes 1:9 The thing that hath been, is that which SHALL BE; and that which is done is that which SHALL BE DONE, there is NO NEW THING under the sun.
Hebrews 4:3 For we which have BELIEVED do enter in to REST (the Sabbath) .....the WORKS were FINISHED from the foundation of the world.
A day is decreed for the Son. To which all the days mentioned in the Abstract (Ge.ch.1) shall flow into. It is the day of the Lord and is marked with horrors for those who refused the blessedness the Lord God held out for the blessed in the Son. It is the Day of vengeance. In order to understand the passage from Isaiah we need two passages that shall throw light on the day specified in the Book of Isaiah. "For it is the day of theLord's vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion"(34:8)
"Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth./ He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth;....Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth(Ps.46:8-10)". The earth abides forever since the fulness of God who lives in inapproachable light is shown in terms of knowledge. "For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea."(Hab.2:14). This glory is what Zion signifies. Before the foundation of the world the Lord laid the foundation stone in Zion. (Is.28:16). In the Book of Proverbs it is described as the house which Wisdom has built. The seven days marking the Abstract in the ch.1 are the pillars. God laid it perfection and it shall be in his Son a city set on a hill, which as Jesus referred cannot be hid. Isaiah refers to this work in his Son, "Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet:"(Is.28:17a)
Day of vengeance has a beginning. To this Jesus warned of, "All these are the beginning of sorrows."(Matt.24:8)Is.34 begins thus:"Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein"(v.1) Jesus explains these sorrows in a way we can well understand since we are in the middle of it. "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquake."

The EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT had a specific time to begin it, that is this current time of Apocalypse, NEVER to END, but NEVER, it's for ever and ever.
Hope that all of GOD's people be ready, for there shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be, and except these days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. As is written, GOD will finish the work(in this current time), and cut it short in Righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth, as prophesied Paul Apostle- Romans 9:28. Be careful and get ready
29 And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.
Get ready, the Word is GOD, self-executing, understand?
John 3:34-37KJV
34 For he whom GOD hath sent speaketh the words of GOD: for GOD giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into His hand.
36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the WRATH of GOD abideth on him. ---> (Terrible, very terrible, as Isaiah prophesied: "The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?- Isaiah 33:14
On the other hand: Is not Satan a Jew? - John 8:44-45
Eternal salvation and ETERNAL damnation comes from the Jews.
Read and see below what say my Lord JESUS, yes, my Lord JESUS, yes.
Mattthew 23:15 & 27 to 36
15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
What does the Word of GOD say? By the way, the Word is GOD, understand? John 1:1
Matthew 1:1 to 17
1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
2 Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;
3 And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;
4 And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;
5 And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;
6 And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;
7 And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;
8 And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;
9 And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;
10 And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;
11 And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:
12 And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;
13 And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;
14 And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;
15 And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;
16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.
There is a definition that's given to us here. It says we are in the flesh if we don't have Christ. If we are not "born again" we have an illegitimate claim at being a true believer.
Whereas, those who are born again do belong to Christ & has been gather unto the Gardener.
Yet those who are in the work of sanctification of the Spirit.
They are true believers too, & belong to Christ, having received of God the gift of faith, from hearing the Word of God in their hearts to the working out of their salvation,& by that gift of faith, they receive ever increasing measures of His Spirit Gal 3:2
Hebrews 12:1 wherefore lay aside the sin that doth so easily beset us. They believe & are in the work of regeneration.
Hebrews 12:4,5,6,7,8 Holy Spirit calls them His children & He's their Father, they belong to Him
Hebrews 12:9-11 afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby, & why? Because they have become partakers of His holiness, the Divine Nature
So in the cleansing work of making holy, their growing from faith to faith & from glory to glory being brought to the baptismal of the Holy Spirit to be dead unto sin, born again of the incorruptible Seed.
Friend,
The path is straight & the gate is narrow indeed that leads to life & few there be that find it, for some then, its to narrow for them to enter. Yet our Leader has plainly mark the path for us, He takes us by the hand & leads us in the very same path that He Himself walked in, wherein He received of the Father all His glory, & so shall we, for all that would believe all things are possible. Isa 42:16 the just Rom 1:17
Its not from the studying of the letter, as one would for any other endeavor, by the art of human science, but a total resolution of one spirit to empty oneself & be guided & taught of God's Spirit John 1:9Titus 2:11 within one's own conscience. The Immanuel of God, who is within us.
Hello Richard, not to "argue", but the false "peace narrative" you spoke of concerning the tribulation is not biblical. There is no anti-christ peace treaty made with Israel. This teaching, as popular as it is, appears nowhere in scripture, and by the way, neither does a "seven year" tribulation. Tribulation yes, but nowhere is it seven years.
Isaiah gives us the sure foundation on which the House of Prayer for all nations shall be built. "Therefore thus saith the LordGod, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste."(Is.28:16) For those who are called and who abide in his Son need have no fear but rest in His promises. By rejecting the Prince of peace and in their pride 'drunkards of Ephraim) they have taken a covenant with death.
Finally we have another reference to the judgment by line and plummet in the word "forever". The Spirit recalls God's promises to King Solomon when he appeared to him second time in Gibeon. "And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which theLordsaid to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever: (v.7)
Compare the above with this promise to King Solomon,"to put my name there forever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.
Zerubabbel, a descendant of the royal line of David laying the foundation on the ruins of the temple destroyed by King Nebuchadnezzar, serves as a stand in for Jesus Christ. "The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that theLordof hosts hath sent me unto you." (Ze.4:9). As with swords and plough shires plumb-line and plummet are symbolic of the work of Jesus Christ as the author and finisher of our faith.
And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more."Let us walk in the light of the Lord."
"Who art thou, O great mountain?" The Spirit uses the emblem of mountain to set to connect the mountain and the rock cut not with hands. (Dan.2:44)
I don't think brother that any greek person understands that word as "persuation". It actually comes etymologically from the verb "peitho" which means "persuade, convince", but as I said nobody here understands it with such meaning.
When this word is applied to a person or God, ie "pistos", it means faithful, trustworthy.
The opposite to "pistis" is "apistia". This word is found in Hebrews 3:12, "Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief (apistia), in departing from the living God.". So you see here the KJV rightly translates it as unbelief, not lack of faith.
Definition of the grk word "pistis" (Eng. faith) I found on the net:
1. wiki - faith, trust and reliability
2.Oxford University, Faculty of Classics - Modern understandings of faith depend heavily on Augustine of Hippo, who defines it (De trin. 13.2.5) as fides quae and fides qua, belief in the body of Christian doctrine and the faith which takes place in the heart and mind of the believer. In 2015 I published Roman Faith and Christian Faith, which argues that the earliest Christians understood pistis/fides very differently. Faith was a relationship of trust and faithfulness between God and human beings, which also shaped relationships between human beings, the authority structure of churches, and the way Christians imagined the kingdom of heaven. Christians were unique in putting trust at the heart of their relationship with God and Christ, but their understanding and practice of pistis/fides were continuous with those of contemporary Greeks, Romans and Jews. -
3. Liberty University, (I don't know which uni is this, but it is a University). - The Meaning of Pistis according to Greek Lexicons and NT Usage BDAG, considered the best Greek lexicon for NT scholarly study, gives three basic categories of meanings for pistis in the NT and early Christian literature: (1) "that which evokes trust and faith," such as "faithfulness" and "fidelity" (BDAG cites six NT passages with this specific meaning); (2) "believing on the basis of the reliability of the one trusted," meaning "trust" or "confidence" or "faith" (more than 180 NT passages are cited with this meaning, almost all of which refer to faith in God, Christ, the Gospel, or God's promises-this is by far the dominant meaning of pistis in the NT according to BDAG); and (3) "that which is believed"-the body of faith or belief (thirteen passages are cited with this meaning). -
Well Spencer on the internet one can find many definitions of the word "pistis" (faith) apart from Strong's concordance.
What is literal Jerusalem? The city of David. By rejecting the prince of peace the Jews chose the path unto desolation. Jesus predicted over the manifold sins committed by the chosen people of God and at the end he observed, "Behold, your house is left unto you desolate".(Matt.23:38)
Now comes the measurement with which Israel shall be measured. "Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place."(Is.28:17)' God is referring to the line and plummet mentioned in the Second Book of the Kings.
Now we shall consider these verses, "And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;/Because they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day."
Notice the phrase 'even unto this day' at the end vv.14-15.? The Spirit clearly lays out how we should read the warning. It is with regards to Jesus Christ who is line and plummet. This single measurement is that of an angel, that is of man. "And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel."(Re.21: 17)
"From generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever./But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also and the raven shall dwell in it: and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness."(Is.34:10-11) This was predicted by Isaiah. This is how we shall see till God steps in.
Over Manasseh's idolatries God had this warning,"Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, Iambringingsuchevil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle." (2 Ki.21:12-14). As long as their sins remained unconfessed and left it was one continuous stroke which came in many waves. In the generation of Jesus we have had the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70. How can one say the present Jerusalem is a proof of God's favor to His people? "And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;"( v.14)
Jerusalem in His sight is still like a dish upside down. God has no use for it. Let us examine the exact words of His curse."And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem asa manwipeth a dish, wipingit, and turningitupside down."(2 Ki.21:13) Compare the inaugural vision shown to young Jeremiah. Here it is dish laid on the table upside down. A clear sign 'no service!' God implies that it is New Jerusalem that He has in mind. Is.2 refers to it. "And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of theLord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it."(Is.2:2-4)
The city of Jerusalem as of old is finished. "All nations shall flow unto it." It is an universal call and first made to Abraham. Those who are called ought to flow into it. If so what was this noise of tumult and hubbub in 1947? How can you bring to life a dead horse? God judged Jerusalem as He did Egypt and Sodom. Spiritually the life is zero since God has rejected them. "And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified"(Re.11:8)
Notice here in John 4:9 the Samaritan woman at the well calls him a Jew
"Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans".
Again, Listen to Jesus here in John 4:22 "Ye worship ye know not what: WE know what WE worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
By the way, You might want to read and study scripture for yourself. These questions and answer forums can sometimes be a help but sometimes can be confusing.

GBU
TODAY, the DAY of SALVATION, world without end.
God BLESS YOU!
The Word is GOD, self-executing, understand?
You asked: Was Jesus a Jew?
2 Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;
3 And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;
4 And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;
5 And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;
6 And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;
7 And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;
8 And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;
9 And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;
10 And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;
11 And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:
12 And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;
13 And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;
14 And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;
15 And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;
No, not in the frame of what you're implying.
Quoting you
There is a definition that's given to us here.
Its not from the studying of the letter, as one would for any other endeavor, by the art of human science, but a total resolution of one spirit to empty oneself & be guided & taught of God's Spirit John 1:9 Titus 2:11 within one's own conscience. The Immanuel of God, who is within us.
Yes, Jesus is a Jew and much more.
He's in the lineage of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob.
This is shown throughout the bible.
I hope this helps.
