If you would please pray for The LORD to help me through the trials I am going through and for His help, protection and provision for all my needs. If you would please pray for healing for my backsliding and body. Thank you. - Ruben
I hope you are doing well these past few weeks. Miss having you posting here, but sometimes we all need a little break. I am thinking of you and, of course, keeping you in my prayers.
"Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you." Philippians 4:9 KJV
Those things which you do...
"I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:14 KJV
press toward the prize
"Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision." Philippians 3:2 KJV
But beware
"Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:12 KJV
Has hasn't yet attained the prize and has not been perfected yet, but strives to (v15).
"For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:" Philippians 3:20 KJV
What stood out to me about these verses is:
1. Paul gives a series of challenges and leads by example. He writes that Christianity is something that is practiced, involves effort, is an action, by doing, like running a race to receive a prize. Not that he's earning it by works. This is clarified many times. But genuine and not a 1-minute prayer someone made 30 years ago where nothing changed and nothing was practiced since.
2. Paul says he hasn't yet attained the salvation. He has hope for salvation, but doesn't say he was already "saved" and finished and can just sit around watching Seinfeld reruns.
The reason for sharing: I think it might help someone, because what I hear in sermons and the way people talk, it seems Christians don't take Christianity very seriously. There's little to no transformation. Paul says to become a slave of righteousness, and people are like, "no thanks, I didn't sign up for that." They're acting like they got a golden entry ticket and they're done. They assume they don't have to change, can continue to deeply enjoy sin, enjoy flesh, and enjoy the benefits of satan. Though they don't realize who they're actually following.
You are giving a great highlight about JESUS's work, and quoted John 10:16, that says: Other sheep I have, which are not of this fold (the Gentiles): them also I MUST bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. In my vision, JESUS was speaking of His Universal work bringing the Gentile people to salvation according the plan of GOD the Father in to create one Universal fold and one Universal Shepherd.
There is an wonderful and wise interpretation of Paul Apostle, saying to the Church of Ephesians 2:12-18
12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without GOD in the world:
13 But NOW in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 For He is our peace, who hath MADE BOTH ONE, and hath BROKEN DOWN the middle wall of partition between us;
15 Having abolished in His flesh the enmity, even the Law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in Himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16 And that He might reconcile both unto GOD in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off (the Gentiles), and to them that were nigh(the Jews).
18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. - Hallelujaaaah!!!
I have a strong intuition and while i thank God making me this way. it's gets too much at times and too real. i need God to help me control this trait.
My boyfriends family is treating him really badly and is discouraging him spiritually. I'm starting to feel discouraged from how heavy I feel this spiritual attack on us. I'm not sure what to do anymore honestly, this has been happening for months and it's just a constant attack.
This psalm is set from two standpoints. "The Lord said unto my Lord," refers to the Father Son relationship which is how we ought to approach this reverential psalm so God a Spirit represents the world of the Spirit. (Ps.110:1) In the night vision of Daniel the Ancient of days fit that part and the one like unto the Son of man (he came with the clouds of heaven-Dan.7:13)presented before him has this cloud in attendance. (He.12:1)
These witnesses are called by God before the worlds began and given to the Son. "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." ( John 10:28). This cloud refers to a flock and it is to which David refers. The Ancient of days works from his fiery throne (7:9)so the Psalm 110 can be now put in proper perspective. "Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool./TheLordshall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies." (vv.1-2) When he sent his only begotten Son to the world the fiery wheels of his throne of flaming fire did not stop turning. "My Father worketh hitherto, and I work."( John 5:17) explains a continual action. The word of God is in control.
The fiery wheels of God ever turn slowly so the Son may ever rule in the midst of thine enemies. In this context the message to the church of Philadelphia promises them an open door."behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it." While the churches are persecuted,- there were broadly ten persecutions, Jesus Christ assures them deliverance so they could every one of them say, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want."(23:1) Before we study the doors in heaven vis a vis heart as a door this psalm shall fit our purpose to study two worlds of the spiritual bodies and of our vile bodies subject to evil of our times.
In transition we shall study this psalm verse by verse. (To ne continued)
You say "JESUS used the NAMES you have listed here in your prior posts speaking with His disciples or the people", but it is not true, it's fake of course. Actually you are stealthy preaching a false interpretation, your preaching is not different such it occurred in ancient event- Genesis 3:1-,a stumbling block for them which unfortunatelly may come to "eat" from you false testimony- Matthew 15:19.
The Word of GOD says not what you are saying. Now, now, the Word is GOD Himself, and He has only one NAME, ONLY AND ONLY ONE NAME,and His only NAME is not any of those which you have surreptitiously listed here as NAMES of GOD. Your thinking is from a human perspective, a stumblingblock- Genesis 3:1-, not from GOD's perspective- Matthew 16:23.
DIALOGUE BETWENN THE JEWS AND JESUS-Jo.8-41-45KJV
41 - The Jews said unto JESUS: We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
42-44 -> 42 -JESUS said to the Jews:- If GOD were your Father ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God;neither came I of myself, but he sent me. (If??? hum!)
43 - JESUS said to the Jews: Why do ye not understand my speech? 44- JESUS openly and emphaticaly said to the Jews: Ye are of your father the Devil.
Every names you have listed are NAMES of the God of the Jews, NAMES od their father (as they said he is- John 8:41). But JESUS claried unto them their father is the Devil, whose NAMES you listed before:
By the way, in Re.12:9, JESUS said:And the great Dragon(the red Dragon)was (will be)cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world:he was cast out into the earth, and his messengers were cast out with him.
By the way,"red Dragon" is the new name of the Devil in this current time of Apocalypse.
Isa.9:6-For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His NAME shall be called THE MIGHTY GOD -JESUS-, Wonderful, Counsellor, The everlasting FATHER, The Prince of Peace.
"My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work." If Jesus says he has to finish his work we can be certain how he does it shall be to perfection to which we are in full agreement. This is what faith with works would mean.
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." ( John 14:12) We know that Jesus ascended to his Father for a reason and His promise of a helper was to enable us to do much more by abiding in him. "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."(10:16)
Jesus sets an open door before the church of Philadelphia. Similarly he is seated on the right hand of God so what he says is as,"he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;"(3:7). It evokes his promise as the Son of man, "Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."(Matt.18:18). This is how we ought to view of our authority as abiding in our Savior Lord. Our Faith with works is to say Amen to His sovereignty over our bodies, both spiritual bodies as well as mortal bodies So what Jesus meant by finishing his works is it not feeding our spiritual bodies as well? Only when Christ seated on the throne says, "It is done" his works shall be finished.(Re.21:6a)
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.(v.22). All his promises are for saints called to be overcomers. "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."( John 10:16) This is also part of his work.
Lastly in v.21 we have two thrones mentioned referring to the throne of God and of the Lamb.(Re.22:1)
The knock mentioned here is different from this verse."Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:"(Matt.7-8) Jesus here mentions the door to salvation. " and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." The next verse sets this in context. "Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?" Jesus is referring to his Father who is in heaven while what Jesus refers in the key verse is the door to the heart of a believer who is saved but is yet to be counted as an overcomer.
The Lord is my shepherd (Ps.23:1) In the Gospel of John we see the same idea put in context of the Father Son relationship. Jesus as the Word become flesh is the Good Shepherd so when he claimed, "I am the way" it explains why his Father sent him to the world. "But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep."( John 10:2). So his authority is as that of the legitimate, the only one whose actions are taken in truth."I am the truth" explains this aspect As the faithful witness and true he promises to all seven churches, where he stands. He demands his rightful place in their heart, a spiritual space, representing the face upon which the Spirit moved before the commencement of the creation. "And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.(Ge.1:2b)
"if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." (3:20)
In the Matthew quote, salvation dealt with ask, seek and knock. The door accordingly opened a straight and narrow path for the seeker to find his pasture. Here Jesus Christ in his majesty offers a supper set in an intimate one to one basis."I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture." This pasture is doing the will of God so meat and drink refers a life in heavenly places. "My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work."
"I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door,"
Here Jesus spells out to the church at Philadelphia what he means by works. Jesus in his majesty refers to the word of my patience. One we can speak with authority. He is shown having the key of David. It is a hint to the church his message is as the king of kings so the temporal powers cannot prevail upon them. "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."( John 16:33).Persecution of the church from the Jewish brethren (synagogue of Satan), as as from the Imperial Rome must be set in context of his words of comfort. Jesus addresses them of an open door set before them. It is open and in the context of his assertion,"I am the way" we can rest assured that the door shall never be closed since it is according to the Scriptures. His usage, "Behold" also helps us understand he is the Word become flesh and he is now speaking as the overcomer. What he has opened no power on earth shall close it. He is the Savior of the world.
"Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth."
While speaking of patience we have another word of comfort, "In your patience possess ye your souls."( Luke 21:19) Of what worth is your soul and what does the earthly tabernacle signify for you are pendent upon patience which as made manifest in Jesus Christ. It is part of works while you are dead in Christ and abide in him. This is Christian Living. There is no cultural osmosis with the world required. It is a simple question whether one takes the open door. "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture./The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life."
Oseas. Your question: "from your knowledge you said here the names mentioned above are NAMES of GOD, so I wanted to know which of these NAMES of GOD my Lord JESUS would have manifested to the men?"
My answer is as given earlier. When Jesus spoke of God, or His Father, or the Lord, those are the Names Jesus used when speaking with His disciples or the people. I have still not been able to discern a straight answer from you regarding God's Name. The closest I see from your response, is that Jesus manifested God's Name as the "Word". I agree, that Jesus was God's Word in the Flesh which clearly implies that both the Word & the Spirit are within the Godhead & sent out from God, but did Jesus ever proclaim/manifest God's Name to the people as "The Word" (Logos)? No. He brought out God's Word & taught it, but never said that the Word was God's Name. The Apostle John did declare in John 1:1, that "the Word was God", but Jesus never proclaimed it as God's Name. If anything be said about the Word, it is Jesus' Name, the Word of God. And if the Name of God (Theos) is Logos, then it must also be Hagion Pneuma (Holy Spirit). Here then is the One God, Theos.
So, I assume that you have no answer to give me, whether Jesus is seated at the right Hand of the Father, or there is only Jesus present in Heaven. Your answer should be: 1. Yes, Jesus is seated at the Father's right Hand, or 2. No, only Jesus is there. Is this too difficult to answer, rather than going into a tirade that the evidences of God's Name in the OT are kabbalistic, devilish names?
The Lord hears your cries for your loved ones, & many others also now join with you to lift up their spiritual barrenness before the Lord. Trust Him to do His Work, keep them in prayer, be the testimony of Christ before them, and leave the matter with Him. In such cases, an overwhelming crisis is what the Lord allows so that their hearts & eyes be opened to that personal Word of the Lord to them. Be blessed & encouraged in Christ Jesus' Name - the Lord knows, He understands, & He will perform.
Romans 13:1-7. You've asked a valid question from v2 & there are two ways of understanding it: is disobedience to the laws of civil govt bring on God's damnation or the condemnation by the dispensers of those laws? In context of the chapter, I believe that this applies to the latter, that of judgement by the magistrate. The Greek word here is 'krima', which applies to 'a judgement, a verdict, a condemnation'. So for whatever reason Paul is thinking of, the one who disobeys the laws, will face the judge (who sits under the authority of God for the good of society). So, one is not damned by God in this regard, but will be condemned by civil law, & yet God would expect us to be obedient to such laws, unless they are in opposition to His Own ( Acts 5:28,29), to His Laws we are subject first.
Philippians 2:12,13. The apostle writing to the Church, commends them for obeying the Lord, not only when he was with them, but also when he wasn't there; this shows that they were genuine in their faith & not 'putting on appearances' for Paul's sake. So this wonderful salvation that they possessed can never be allowed to become mediocre & lukewarm, therefore Paul encourages them to 'work it out', i.e. what they possessed should be continually worked out (in one's personal walk & in relation to others), and done so 'in fear & trembling'. Why fear? I see it as the outworking of our Salvation which is a very serious business, not given to flippancy & a lackadaisical view, but geared to pleasing the Lord in all things & ever ready to engage in battle with the tempter & seducer. True, we have 'not been given a spirit of fear', of what man or spirit can do to us, even because of overwhelming circumstances we might face, but of Holy Ghost Power, of Divine Love, & of a sound healthy regenerated mind. I trust you can see the difference in 'Fear' in these instances.
Hello Virdee. I was touched by what you wrote, of your struggle to have assurance of salvation. The Scripture that came to mind is all of Romans chapter 8, which would answer your doubts & fears. If I might briefly go through some points in this chapter with you, even as you follow it in your Bible. Here is a chapter giving the one IN Christ full assurance of their position before God, particularly as the apostle related it to himself, he who was made free from the deathly hold that the Law had upon him & from the lusts of the flesh.
Romans 8:1: Paul immediately lays the foundation that he is referring to 'true' believers: to those who walk according to the Holy Spirit's direction & not by fulfilling the desires of the flesh. Those who are unbelievers, or hope they are believers, will not obey the Holy Spirit, simply because the Spirit is not in residence in their lives (vv 9,14). When the Spirit speaks or directs (i.e. we heed the Law of the Spirit only now in our new life/makeup), the believer will listen & obey. If we are swayed by the flesh, we will very soon know of our wandering & either return to holy living or face discipline. We can fully trust God that 'He will not leave or forsake us'; we are His children adopted into His Family (vv 14-17) & we cannot be 'un-adopted'. We will not only face the normal trials in life that come to each one of us, but also the attacks by the enemy of our souls (vv 35-39), but none of these will remove us from the "Love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord". With this confidence given to us, it should be our delight to obey Him in everything He tells us or requires of us. Then when the Day of His Appearing comes, our confidence in Christ & His Blessed Work in us, causes us to rejoice & "not be ashamed at His Coming" ( 1 John 2:28). Those who live in sin & selfish desires will be in terror & horror overcoming them, when they see the Holy One of God appear & their sins exposed. Onto Page 2.
Proverbs 29:1 KJ21 He that, being often reproved, stiffeneth his neck shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
This is the fate of all the unregenerate who do not repent. A prime example is Pharoah during Moses' extensive dialogue with him warning of his fate defying God's will when it came to the sacrifice that his people desired in the desert. One should note that it was only requested for a short trip for this ceremony at first but eventually Pharoah drove them out and yet once again attempted to capture them to enslave them before his armies were destroyed in the Red Sea. Pharoah himself may not have been there but it seems his fate was sealed.
We see evidences such as 2 Chronicles 13:10-13 where Manasses repented after doing horrible abominations in the land; but we also see verses that state that even though they pray to God those devoted to destruction will not be heard ( Jeremiah 11:11 and Micah 3:4).
In seeing these examples; we ought to not test God as they were warned in the wilderness. We are warned not to rebuke a fool either ( Prov. 9:8). We should listen to God the first time; and realize that He chastens all He loves; and the opposite therefore indicates that without that discipline we are not His own as we see comparing Peter in the Bible to Judas Iscariot. All of us have a death sentence due to sin; but some choose to come to their end sooner through particularly evil lifestyles and behaviors.
No amount of pride brings joy; and our minds can only find solace in being left alone in our state once we have lost all pleasure in worldly things due to aging. Proverbs 5:14 talks about being almost in ruin in the congregation due to sins; but that is preferable to pining away alone; for Solomon saw this reality also in Ecclesiastes seeing that all things apart from God were vanity. In short; a saved man sees His old life crucified; new life in Christ and the Body of believers his adopted family (see Ephesians 1:23).
Chris, my belief regarding JESUS sat at the right hand of the Father, it is not by your very poor testimony of Him, but by the Word of GOD, the Word is GOD Himself, GOD the Father, understand? Hebrews 1:1-3 among other biblical references.Take a look. The testimony of the Word -the Word is GOD - it is greater than yours, understand? Or isn't it?
You called God "(Theos); Father (Patter;Abba-more intimate); Lord(Kurios), well, by the Word of GOD, the Word is GOD, you are saying nothing, your testimony about GOD in your post is irrelevant, insignificant, it was not by the Spirit of Christ, and it was not by the Spirit of Truth and John 16:12-15 confirm / endorse what I am just saying. Unfortunately you keep snaking in devilish doctrines and tares sowed by the Wicked one. --> By the way, "It is GOD that sitteth upon the circle of the Earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers- Isaiah 40:22. Indeed, this revelation which GOD did give to Isaiah explains or suggests why there is not Life in whole Universe except in the Earth, I mean out of the Earth there is not in whole Universe the variety of Life that there is in the Earth, because GOD is sat upon the circle of the Earth.
To finish, you have cited in your posts the NAME of GOD as being the esoteric, and kabbalistic, and spiritist JEHOVAH, YAHWEH, YHWH, ADONAI, EL SHADAI, HaSHEM, so I quoted John 17:6 where my Lord JESUS in His prayer said to the Father that He had MANIFESTED His NAME to the MEN that He, GOD the Father, had given to Him, So I asked UNTO you: What is the GOD's NAME my Lord JESUS MANIFESTED to the men?
Now, now, from your knowledge you said here the names mentioned above are NAMES of GOD, so I wanted to know which of these NAMES of GOD my Lord JESUS would have manifested to the men? The question is mine, not yours, I'm waiting you response.
Heavenly Father, I pray for a hedge of protection over Pastor Kris. He is bold in preaching the truth. That no harm come against him. I pray that Canada repent and go back to their first love, You, Almighty God. I pray for his congregation that they stand up and be bold in claiming Your word. Help us all to witness and testify. In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen
I am experiencing Matthew 10:34-39 . I'm asking for an escape , to live in an isolated place by myself, humanly speaking . I hope we go to Los Angeles to return to my music Ministry , as Pittsburgh is not even willing to buy an acoustic piano for a venue . I would die without being able to do my Ministry . I need prayer to hit me there and away from what I just stated I'm experiencing . I am the victim . God bless you all .
I've had a 7 year Dark Night of the Soul ,immediately following my mother's passing . Satan felt the need to attack me at this most vulnerable time in my life. and it was not an ordinary attack through human beings as we see them. I am sure the people in here are open to this . I was translated to another dimension . I was still in the same Hotel in which I was living in Los Angeles. in retrospect Jesus told me this is why I must keep my eyes on the King James Bible . the only real Bible . the only Bible that is free , as you're not supposed to profit from the word of God like that . the only real book that Satan tried to prevent getting printed by setting people afire in cages. in retrospect Jesus showed me that that was Satan . but at the time I thought it was God . Satan was determined to make me believe I done wrong after the power of Jesus taking place in Romans 10:13 . but you see if I'm determined to have been wrong past that moment , and that would be taking credit away from Jesus . but my mind was in a fog at that time , and I Heard a Voice coming out of the air , which tried to mimic something written in Scripture about a voice and A Mighty Wind . first of all we know the King James Bible never describe the voice , so naturally I would assume that a voice would sound like a human man's voice . I can't fathom beyond that neither can any other man . so Satan figured he could get away with it he did sound like a man , with an extraordinarily deep voice that boomed and thundered , but was very quiet , at the same time , as if he was trying to imitate what I think would be sounding like the still small voice . again, the King James talks about still small voice , what does not describe it , leaving us to assume it sounds like that of a man , and Satan there to try and take advantage . rolling and surrounding the sound of that voice , what looks like people started to appear before me , and they always wore Basic Black apparel . wish I could finish. out of space
You've started a new thread, so I trust you've seen the answer I gave you in the other thread. And my answer was: "I can only think of how Jesus spoke about the One Who sent Him. Of course, Jesus called Him, God (Theos); Father (Pater; Abba - more intimate); Lord (Kurios)."
You've repeated here what you've written previously. So waiting in suspense, I would like to know 'what Name did Jesus manifest of God to men?' I also asked whether you believe that in Heaven right now, the risen Christ sits at the right Hand of God, or whether Jesus is alone in Heaven & God within Him (as I seemed to have understood one of your comments). Thank you.
I'm fighting the enemy/spiritual warfare they trying to make me lose my mind and hurt my family. Please have salvation and pray for my family. Please pray for my family and I to get through the darkness. Amen
Heavenly Father, I ask for You to please answer all of Silverliner's prayer for whom he asked for. We believe in Your Mighty Name, Jesus Christ. Thank You Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Amen
I hope you are doing well these past few weeks. Miss having you posting here, but sometimes we all need a little break. I am thinking of you and, of course, keeping you in my prayers.

You are giving a great highlight about JESUS's work, and quoted John 10:16, that says: Other sheep I have, which are not of this fold (the Gentiles): them also I MUST bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. - Hallelujaaaah!!!
Be careful or else get ready
For more kjv bibles and that the hands they go to would read and study and meditate the word of truth.
Thank you Lord for a new soulcomingto the lord today!!
Please help them find a church they can be fed the word of God!!
Anynomous!!
Thank you.
