    Hi Ecalarese.

As promised I would like to continue our discussion on unequally yoked with unbelievers and we "the church" being separated from the world.

    We've touched on 2 Corinthians 6:14-15

When we read further down in this chapter we come to verses 17 and 18 it reads "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Paul is telling us to separate ourselves from the world, but to some degree Paul is only telling us what the Spirit of God has already done.

We are Unequally yoked with unbelievers in this world where lifestyles and morrows clash! Darkness and light cannot coexist.

A believer baptized with Christ spirit has a new nature that combats the old nature.

Not just outward sin but we now think different.

Listen to Paul again talking to the Corinthians in 1 Corinthians 2:14-16.

"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

    Also, John 15:18-21.

Notice verse 21? "But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, BECAUSE THEY KNOW NOT HIM THAT SENT ME.

When the Holyspirit causes us to follow Christ and His teachings we're at odds with the world.

    We have "separate" fathers.

    God and Satan!

Satan has his ministers also. Look at Paul in his day. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15

Satan appeals to the flesh and worldly wisdom.

One thing they can't do is bare fruit! Matthew 7:15-18.

They despise truth and hate the Brothern.

    See 1 John 3:10-15.

Perhaps more later on a separate thread.

    God bless you.

    Hi Spenser,

You write: "The most important law of biblical hermeneutics is that the Bible should be interpreted literally. We are to understand the Bible in its normal or plain meaning," Where did you learn that from, I wonder.

Unless it is given from above a man cannot benefit from God a Spirit. You seem to fit with the description of Isaiah " But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken./ Wherefore hear the word of the Lord, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem." (Is.28:13-14). Blind leading the blind is a risky business. Jesus calls them, "Woe unto you, ye blind guides." Why Israel fell off? " Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!/ Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!."(Is.5:20-21)

    Hi again Gideon.

I would like to expound a little more on your statement saying, "you know how to get saved and it's hard for you because you're scared and nervous about it"

Here's why I asked you for clarity on that statement..

There's some hold to a legalistic viewpoint when coming to God for salvation.

In the Old testament Israel was given the Law and commandments the showed them and the world "Including us" we all have a fallen nature and is need of a savior.

As did the Israelites in the old testament they feared approaching God under that ministry of condemnation.

However, to them and us God provided a savior, our Lord Jesus Christ!

There is no need to fear, we have found mercy in Christ.

    Ephesians 2:4-9.

We can now approach the throne of grace and there is no need of fear!

Hebrews 10:19-23 states, "Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

    By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

    And having an high priest over the house of God;

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Romans 10:9 states "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

We confess that are a sinner, turn our hearts to God for his grace and mercy and he is faithful to forgive us.

"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out"

    John 6:37.

    God bless you Gideon.

    Hi again Michael.

Allow me to share an article with you on Biblical hermeneutics.

Biblical hermeneutics is the study of the principles and methods of interpreting the text of the Bible. Second Timothy 2:15 commands believers to be involved in hermeneutics; "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who correctly handles the word of truth.

The most important law of biblical hermeneutics is that the Bible should be interpreted literally. We are to understand the Bible in its normal or plain meaning, unless the passage is obviously intended to be symbolic or if figures of speech are employed. The Bible says what it means and means what it says. For example, when Jesus speaks of having fed "the five thousand" in Mark 8:19, the law of hermeneutics says we should understand five thousand literally-there was a crowd of hungry people that numbered five thousand who were fed with real bread and fish by a miracle-working Savior.

Any attempt to "spiritualize" the number or to deny a literal miracle is to do injustice to the text and ignore the purpose of language, which is to communicate. Some interpreters make the mistake of trying to read between the lines of Scripture to come up with esoteric meanings that are not truly in the text, as if every passage has a hidden spiritual truth that we should seek to decrypt.

    Avoid this type of teaching!

A second crucial law of biblical hermeneutics is that passages must be interpreted historically, grammatically, and contextually. Interpreting a passage historically means we must seek to understand the culture, background, and situation that prompted the text.

A third law of biblical hermeneutics is that Scripture is always the best interpreter of Scripture.

We always compare Scripture with Scripture when trying to determine the meaning of a passage.

The purpose of biblical hermeneutics is to protect us from misapplying Scripture.

    God bless.

Please pray for my family, that we shall be granted forgiveness of sins, and that wisdom, mercy, truth, and righteousness shall be our guides all the rest of our lives, and that God himself will endow us with discernment for his will while we are here on this earth and that we will never cease to do his will forever. Amen and thank you!

    Dear Gideon,

I will be praying for you today. God is loving, faithful, and trustworthy, so know that the Father is drawing you to Jesus this very

moment. The Holy Spirit is preparing your heart and soul and mind to come to faith in Jesus. How wonderful it is that our great

God does all this even before we are saved so that His will for us comes to pass.

You can come to Jesus for salvation even though you feel nervous, apprehensive, or afraid. We are all sinners before God and

deserve to be judged as disobedient creatures before a holy God. Yet those who come to salvation in Jesus are no longer under

condemnation for our own sins. We are forgiven and set free from being enslaved by our sinfulness and come to know our Lord

as one who loved us so much that He gave His life as a sacrifice for our sin so that we can have this forgiveness and freedom in

    Him.

I advise you to pray to God and tell Him all your current feelings and ask for faith to believe that truth concerning the salvation

that in Jesus only. God saves us through Jesus. Come to Him today with a repentant and contrite heart. He will give you peace

and release from the oppression of sin and the deceit that comes from the devil who wishes that we will not believe.

Thankfully, our God is unfathomably more powerful than the devil or sin or ourselves or any other person or power!

Please keep me up to date on your journey so I can know how to pray for you more specifically.

    Hello Prayer me,

I am thankful you have been brought ot Jesus by the Father and the Holy Spirit. Welcome to the family of fellow believers.

I suggest that you begin with the gospel of John in the New Testament and then proceed to read the other gospels of Matthe, .Mark and Luke. then move on to the book of Acts written by Luke, who was assisted the apostle Paul in the work of spreading the Gospel and teaching in the churches.

After reading these, I suggest reading the Epistles beginning with Romans and reading through Jude.

From there I suggest that you read Genesis.

Then you can read the Old Testament from Exodus through 2 Samuel, Psalms.

After that, read the prophet Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel.

Then the remainder of the prophets.

The most important thing for any believer is to get to know who Jesus was as presented in the Gospels and what He also said about the Father, from whom He came to earth to save us. And to know God's character in the Old Testament and New Testament.

It may help to keep a journal of how God describes Himself in both Testaments.

I pick up small spiral notebooks from the Dollar Tree and give a title to each one: God is Creator, God is the only God, God is loving, God is Powerful, etc. That way you can be able to enter Bible verses that speak to the attribute that describes an aspect of God's character and Being according to categories.

This would be helpful to you for a long time. to come as you continue to add to these journals the Scriptures that help us to know God, not just factually, but also in how our relationship with Him is deepened and increasing in intimacy the more we discover about Him for the rest of our lives here and into the eternal life to come.

But please remember that when reading the Bible, it is important to read the context around the entry that you enter into the your journals because context will further expand your understanding of what is being said about God (Father, Son (Jesus), and Spirit

    Hi.

I agree with Jaz, You dont have to go into these collection of 66 books with understanding.

You go into these books with faith and searching for the truth.

It's God who reveals truth and opens up understanding.

So, you should relax and wait on God and pray for understanding as you go.

Read it for yourself and stay with a program.

Things will come together as read, you may not find the answer in the particular book you are reading but a may be revealed in another book.

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 1 Peter 2:2.

    Get a good strongs concordance.

The 1st 5 books in the old testament and then the Gospels is probably a good start as Jaz said.

I would go into these books asking in prayer for guidance, (AND BELIEVE THAT GOD WILL GRANT IT)

Go into these books with CONFIDENCE IN GOD AS A LOVING FATHER READY TO TEACH.

Just know that understanding often comes later so don't loose faith.

If you decide to ask Questions, it's important to be as the berean in Acts 17:11 "they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Use proper hermeneutics as you grow.

    I will explain that later.

    God bless.

    Hi Gideon.

    I agree with Jaz.

"faith is built on a sure foundation , not on fear and uncertainty"

May I ask, What did you mean when you said "you know how and it's hard for you because you are scared and nervous about it?

Revealing this bit of information can be vital to helping you in this area.

    Thanks and God bless.

    1Corinthians 6:9-10KJV say:

9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of GOD? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of GOD.

And the Lord JESUS warned: Luke 21:34-36KJV:

34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that Day(Lord's Day, the seventh and last Day or seventh and last millennium) come upon you unawares.

35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to ESCAPE all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Lord JESUS said more: Matthew 13:40-43KJV

40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the END of THIS WORLD. ( 1Corinthians 15:24-26)

    41 The Son of man shall send forth His angels(mainly Michael), and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father( Revelation 11:15-18 and Daniel 12:3). Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

If you are scared and nervous then you may not be ready . Have you read the Bible ? Do you know what is expected of you ? Do you know who the Holy One of Israel is ? Do you know who Jesus Christ is ? This is a very serious matter and your faith must be built on a sure foundation , not on fear and uncertainty . Be sure you know what you are getting into , read the Bible , speak to your God in prayer through Christ . Be strong in the Lord !

Dear Michael , the first bit of advice I would give you is to relax ! Learning the Truth should be a joy and a pleasure not a terror and a chore ! You will hopefully be reading the Bible every day for the rest of your life so approach it as you would approach your wisest best friend .

I would definitely start in the Old Testament with the first five books , those penned by Moses . I would continue with the Old , in the order they appear but , after the first five you could go to the New and read the four Gospels . I wouldn't but you could . I would just keep reading from Genesis to Revelation and do that maybe the first ten times you read it . Once you feel some familiarity you can pick and choose a bit . I have devised my own reading plan which means I read the whole Bible ( the four Gospels I read twice ) in one year . As long as you read every book , Old as well as New , you are doing fine . Don't forget to pray every day and give God thanks for all the good things in your life . Don't expect to understand everything first or second or even third time around , this is a life long friendship you are getting into . Things will be revealed as you put in the time and effort . Decide how many chapters a day you are going to read and stick to that at least the first few times you read it , some days I only read one but I've been reading it for a very long time now . When I first started I stuck to five chapters a day . Read too much and you can get overwhelmed , too little and you are left hungry . You know how much time you have and pick a time and place when you can have a bit of peace . I can't sleep unless I've read at least one chapter . Enjoy your New Best Friend !

    "In that day" Josh.14:12-13

We shall continue with nations on the basis of the everlasting covenant. Holiness of God include love justice among other things. Israel for all their sins would not be entirely cast off. A remnant shall be redeemed from the nation. Here we have an example. "Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the Lord spake in that day, "speaks of the day of regeneration. "In that day" mentioned here is of the same color and weight as 'unto this day".Now we have an example for the latter, "Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed the Lord God of Israel."(v.14). The significance of Hebron we have in "In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah."( 2 Sa.5:5) God the Father and the Son are one. ( John 10:30). So what does this separation of Hebron from Jerusalem indicate? The same as sons of last Adam and of Adam respectively. Their inheritance also differs. Blessedness of man in the covenant assures their inheritance as well.

In this context Kaleb represents the righteousness from following the Lord God wholly. This is regardless of nations under whichever names may come, Israel, the UK or USA are interchangeable.

    Everlasting Covenant- Nations

When God blessed man in the covenant he did so in his Son. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:/According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love" This is different in quality than what the following verse indicates.

"When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel."(De. 32:8). Who are the sons of Adam who himself disobeyed and was expelled from the Garden of God? He lost his glory and to his shame realized that he was naked. This is where we come across the outer darkness. The ground was cursed because of sin it never left his sons. Even after the great flood we find in the tower of babel that sons of Adam are different from the blessed saints who are adopted to Him in the last Adam.

St John explains the difference. " He came unto his own, and his own received him not." Israel rejected him because they were the sons of Adam. They drew their claim from their lineage was from the loins of the earthy Adam. Whereas last Adam is the Lord from heaven. "And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit."( 1 Co.15:45-50)

"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:/ Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God". ( John 1:11-13) The outer darkness comes into its own when the holy city of God descends from heaven to the mid-air. So separation of nations arise according to the everlasting covenant as sons of Adam are different from that of Last Adam. By literalism the imposter church let the reprobate nation come into the body of Christ.

    Everlastig covenant- separation

"And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness."(Ge.1:4)

In order to show the relevance of this separation of ight from darkness we shall take up the emergence of nations. .

"And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof./And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it."(Re.21:23-24) This is separate from Outer darkness .The separation explains the blessedness of the first resurrection. "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power,"(Re.20:6) God blessed man (Ge.1:28). This covenant is everlasting so who has parti in the first resurrection leave no confusion. Not nations but man who is in Jesus Christ blessed. He is a tree of righteousness whose seed is in itself. "and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth."(Ge.1:11)

On the other hand we see the wicked children of darkness showing the quality of lucifer who said, "I will". " will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High./Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit."(Is.14:14-15). Nations emerging from the children of Noah we have th point of time they dwelt onthe plains of Shinar. What was the driving force? " And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven;"(Ge.11:4) DNA of Lucifer, is it not? Similarly Israel says,"Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt."(Nu.14:4) They resisted God and Moses. For this reason Jesus said, "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."( John 8:44-45)

    The Millennial Reign- Re.20:5-6 (2 of 2)

"And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days."(Ge.7:24) 150 days point to the Son. 50x3 where command number Three brings Jesus Christ in direct frame of reference. A jubilee year marking 50 years where the land reverts to the Lord. ("for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me"-Le.25:23).

God specifically commands to colonise the earth. "Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth."(6:17) Lives of Noah and family were based on gospel where 12x10 indicates ma's life on the gospel and not on the law of Moses. Thus new earth and new heaven is set on the gospel of God.

The ark had three stories and Noah as a steward over His creation sets the memorial of 24elders and four beasts connect: worlds of the Spirit and of the body are to be as one. False teachers instead encourage serving God and mammon instead. Without glory what is Zion or New Jerusalem? This is what the millennial reign in the mid-air shall indicate."For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea."(Hab.2:14) This is indicated in the great flood. "And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered."(Ge.7:19)

No event in the word of God stands aloof from the everlasting covenant presented in the first chapters of the Book of Genesis. All these consist of and by Jesus Christ.

    Revelation 5:8-10

8And when he had taken the book, the four living beings and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

    9And they sung a new song,saying,Thou art worthy to take the book,and to open the seals thereof:for thou wast slain,and hast redeemed us to GOD by thy blood out of every kindred,and tongue,and people,and nation;

10And hast made us unto our GOD kings and priests:and WE shall reign on the earth.(JESUS said:Mat.5:5 Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth).

    Revelation 11:15-18

15And the seventh angel sounded;and there were great voices in heaven( Ephesians 1:3-8),saying,The kingdoms OF THIS WORLD(world of Devil)are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ;and He shall reign for ever and ever. ( 1Corinthians 15:24-27

24Then the END come, when He shall have delivered up the Kingdom to GOD,even the Father;when He shall have PUT DOWN all rule and all authority and power.25For He must reign, till He hath put all enemies under His feet.26The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death)

16And the four and twenty elders, which sat before GOD on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped GOD,

17Saying,We give thee thanks,O Lord GOD Almighty, which art,and wast, and art to come;because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

18And the nations were(WILL be)angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be Judged, and that thou should give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great;and should destroy them which destroy the earth
