Hello Momsage. I'm surprised by your engaging with me here, since you haven't rescinded your past request in this regard.

In any case, to respond now to your question, I think you will agree that the Sabbath, as with the other nine commandments were given purely to the children of Israel. I say that with some confidence as you stated this fact (in part) to Naisa Koroi, "The 4th commandment, although, addressed to Israel at the time God gave them, were for ALL of Gods children...".

So our difference is not on which day the Sabbath falls (i.e. on the seventh day of the week, the day that the LORD chose to cease from all His works & sanctify it ( Genesis 2:2)), but whether the Jewish observance of the Sabbath is encumbent upon the one in Christ now. You've stated that the 4th Commandment is "for ALL of God's children", and this is where I would disagree. I would find it difficult to correctly understand the directives given to the Church from Jesus & the Apostles, and yet still hold onto the Law (which includes the Decalogue & other commandments) that not only don't apply to me, a Gentile, but of no value to the Church in Christ Jesus.

Probably like you, I grew up learning by rote, the Decalogue, as also the stories of Adam & Eve, the Flood, the Crucifixion, etc. And we accepted all that we were taught without question. But when I became new in Christ Jesus, many questions arose, and sometimes challenged my long-held beliefs carried through the years. So, by searching the Scriptures, I no longer count my previous learning valid, though very useful of course, but try to bring together all what the Bible teaches me. Many Scriptures assisted me in this, but one as an example is Galatians chap 3, and particularly verse 19: "Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made...". Jesus' Coming & Sacrifice negated all the Law - we are now to live by His Spirit, obeying His Laws imputed in us.

    S.Spencer,

I agree with you in this matter. I was just wanting to encourage you to begin conversation on this forum on soteriology since it seems the Lord has put that on your heart at this time. I look forward to these discussions.

I do want to say that any of us should follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit in our conversation here and elsewhere. It is not a distraction or divisive to discuss a wide range of topics here or elsewhere. We do need to enter such discussions as you said, humbly and lovingly, with forbearance and patience no matter what the topic. Discussing soteriology is always a good topic to discuss, but there are many other topics that speak to important doctrines taught in Scripture that aid in building up the church in wisdom and unity. We each should bring forward the topics the Holy Spirit is prompting us to do, for, as you said, there is one body and one Spirit.

I don't think there is a need for us to discuss this further as I do agree that we should desire unity and harmony as well as take time to speak the Gospel in situation that are presented to us by the Holy Spirit and that there are those who are new believers that may need further explanation on their recent conversion and new relationship with God in and through Jesus Chrsit.

Blessings to you, Steven, as always. I hope your evening goes very well. Will talk with you soon.

    Hello Leshawn,

If by religious you mean coming to God for mercy and grace with the hope of being accepted by Him. If by religious you mean that you want to know God more and more and live for Him each day. If by religious you desire to live rightly but cannot. then I have good news for you. Anyone who desires to be religious in these ways can find acceptance and salvation in Jesus our Savior, He is the one who gave Himself for us so that we can be religious in the ways I've spoken of. We will be taken into communion with

God through Jesus and have a new nature that causes us to obey God and live to His glory.

The Gospel only speaks of Jesus and His saving work for us on the cross of Calvary as our substitute to bear the condemnation we deserve for our sins and then to rise victoriously from death to reign as our Lord and King.

You can find out more about this in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John along with the writings of Paul in the Epistles that follow the book of Acts. I recommend that you begin reading the Bible as I have suggested. Also, you may wish to meet with a Christian pastor who is willing to sit down with you and show you what the gospel of Jesus is in Scripture and how you can receive salvation in Jesus by believing the gospel message.

I will be praying for you in your desire to come to God according to the terms of the Gospel message. Check back with us to keep us up to date on your journey with God.

Hebrews 1:1-3-A period of 2000 years

1 GOD, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,2 Hath in these last days(last two Days-2000 years)spoken unto us by His Son...heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds;3Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.

GOD"s Plan was to create man in the sixth Day. GOD said:Ge.1:26-Let us make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness. But without JESUS, GOD's Plan was unfeasible,so 2000 years ago the Word was made flesh, was born JESUS.It was the fourth GOD's Day,i.e. 4000 years after Adam.GOD was still working in His wonderful Plan to create man in the sixth Day,as is written, not in the begining but in the END of the sixt Day.Then the Word,GOD Himself,self-executing,and JESUS,the Greater Light of fourth GOD's Day,which lighteth every man that cometh into the world, both have worked these last 2000 years to make man according to the GOD's Plan.

Many received JESUS,to them gave He power to become sons of GOD,to them that believe on His name, which were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man,but of GOD-Jo.1:12-13.

    Ephesians 1:3-8

GOD chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world,we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,to the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He has made us accepted in the Beloved. In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace;having made known unto us the MYSTERY of His will in the dispensation of the FULNESS of TIMES...In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being PREDESTINATED according to the purpose of Him...that we should be to the praise of His glory...

    Hi Chris.

If the day didn't matter why did God (Jesus) specifically command the Sabbath or the seventh day to be our day to rest like He did and emphasis it by telling us to remember it and then turn around when He was incarnate and discount it or change His mind about something so important?

A real day of rest, which is what God commanded, would be a real blessing for us. It rejuvenates the mind, body and soul. It gives us the opportunity to set the things of the world, work, even troubles, aside and gives us a full day to give God and family our undivided attention so we can just relax in the Lord. Fellowship with friends is good on the Sabbath also giving them real time and attention, not just a few minutes after church or sitting in a crowded, noisy restaurant.

That said, 2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to shew theyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth." is one of the most important scriptures we can read and obey, I believe. There are to many people telling us this and that and the other thing, including myself, so believers need to learn what God says about anything themself by studying and trusting the Holy Spirit to show them what God's will is. God Bless :)

Dear Christians . In case you didn't know , today is Pesach Sheni or , the second Passover . Numbers chapter 9 . One thing that I find striking about this feast/holiday is that it wasn't originally instituted by God . God gave it to the Israelites in response to their outcry of fear at being left out , unable to offer their offering and praise God along with every one else , due to ritual uncleanness . Also noteworthy is that it lasts just one day instead of the seven days of the first Passover . For me , this Pesach Sheni is a sign of hope , hope that you can always try to make amends and do what is right and acceptable to God , even if it's a bit later than it should have been , God doesn't slam the door in anyone's face and walk away . This second Passover us a full month after the first , God knows that we need Him and His mercy every day and He is very gracious in making Himself available and approachable . God is very considerate of us in our weakness and humanity . Through Christ our Redeemer and our Passover , we can have access to the Holy One of Israel . Praise God for His wonderful loving kindnesses towards us . Christ is the second Passover , bringing in the unclean ( us gentiles ) in one day he gave up his life for us , willingly . All things in the Old point to the New , this is why it's so important to read the Old as well as the New .

Please know that it is not a religion with rules that we are to follow but a relationship with Our Lord Jesus Christ!!! Ask His forgiveness in whatever is on your heart. He loves you as if you are the only person on earth! Accept Him as your Lord and Savior, believing that He died on a cross for your salvation, so you can return to Heaven some day! He wants you to talk to Him and have a wonderful relationship with Him!! There is nothing in this world that compares to knowing how much He loves you!! Praying you find what you need in a church. You will be utterly amazed at what Jesus will do in your heart! God BLess you immensely!!

    Hello Naisa koroi:

Worshiping God is wonderful for the believer any day, any time whether on your own or in fellowship. The 4th commandment, although, addressed to Israel at the time God gave them, where for ALL of Gods children and that is proven by the fact that we obey them still today, except the 4th. The 4th commandment only asks that we set one day (Sabbath; Saturday) for a rest for our minds, bodies, and souls. Since most of the world worships on Sunday this is not breaking the 4th commandment, unfortunately though, people have also determined that that will be their day of rest also, despite the commandment is for Saturday. But putting days of the week aside, we need to have one day of real rest a week. God commanded it and specifically said "remember it" for us so that we, as believers, would make it a true day of rest. Mostly now Saturdays are for chores and errands and hopefully after worship on Sunday the person or family relaxes and rest at home. But if chores or errands weren't finished on Saturday it usually gets finished on Sunday because people attribute the Sabbath as only a day of worship now when, in fact as I said, there is nothing in the commandment that is about worship. It is such a blessing that you are a believer in Christ and have given your heart and life only to Him. Be glad and rejoice. Study your bible diligently for your answers as we are told to do in 2 Timothy 2:15 one of the most important verses in the bible, in my opinion.

    God Bless:)

    Hi Gigi.

    Here's part 2.

We have Ephesians 4:1-13 touching on what's expected.

Vs 1) We are told to

walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called.

    Vs 2) Here's how we are to do it. "With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

Vs 3) Another Verse that brings clarity to what I posted.

"Endeavouring to KEEP THE UNITY OF THE SPIRIT IN THE BOND OF PEACE.

Vs 4-13 ) We are gifted Christ Spirit and offices for him to perform in us. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Contrary to this is Vs 14 where there is no unity but yet DISTRACTIONS and deception.

    That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Gigi my post was about distractions that take us away from our Great commission.

We don't glorify the Lord that way.

My reply to Ronald was about, out of all the doctrines I mentioned, ( Eschatology, Soteriology, ect ect. Soteriology is the most important and most neglected.

And it is the only one that carries consequences if you get it wrong.

    God bless.

    Hi Gigi.

Our purpose is to glorify God.

Our mission is to take the Gospel out to the whole world whether on Church on the streets in the grocery store or on this site.

It's "shouldn't" be common that any Christian would refute that.

My post, and reply to Brother Ronald was concerning our mission.

    However,

let's talk about Glorifying God for a moment in relations to what I posted.

    Here goes.

    An article on distractions.

    "Remembering Jesus' Prayer for Unity

We all know the narrative in John 17. But let's revisit it.

    John 17:11

"And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, THAT THEY MAY BE ONE, AS WE ARE.

This was the last thing on Jesus' mind before he went to the cross. He could have been praying about anything, but he chose to pray about unity.

There is the heading Gigi to this whole conversation.

When we are as one we Glorify the Lord, not when we are divided.

    Look at the previous verse.

John 17:10. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I AM GLORIFIED IN THEM.

We are many members but yet one body, one Spirit, and one Lord.

We glorify the Lord by carrying on his mission in Love not chaos.

God set up these different offices within the body for that cause!

I will post a few scriptures for lack of time and space.

    Ephesians 4:1-3.

    Ephesians 4:4.

    Ephesians 4:7-8.

And last but certainly not least. Ephesians 4:11-13.

    "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

We have built for a mission that Glorifies Christ!!

See Part 2. Staying right here in Ephesians.

    Ge.1:14-18 "Signs" (2 of 2)

Then Jesus said unto them of his work. "For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world." At this they wouldn't have any of it. (He.12:14) Without holiness no one shall see God and without faith understand him. God gave the Israelites manna which they hated and would even want to stone Moses, and to them Jesus as the bread from heaven as a sign and his work would mean nothing. So Sabbath was a sign which was set within frame of reference to the Son. "It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever." (Ex.31:17). As with the sign mentioned earlier, without fulfilling the forever aspect of the everlasting covenant the Law of Moses is a law given to the servant. The covenant between God and Man is everlasting. It is meant to be holy for the reprobate stiff-necked people. "Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you." God who sanctifies them has set his Son. "But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption."(1 Co.1:30)

    Hello again Michael,

I had written a reply but it somehow got lost so I will write it again.

I am so glad you have been helped in your reading and learning of Scripture.

When I was a young girl I read the Gospels again and again because I loved reading about my Savior. By the time I was 12 I had read the Epistles several times. I was helped in understanding what it means to be a believer and how to follow after Jesus better.

As I grew to maturity I read more of the OT. I loved Psalms.

Reading the Scriptures has been part of my lifestyle for 60 years. As a result, many times in conversations or interactions a verse will come to mind that applies to the circumstance and I will go to the Bible to find it and read the chapter it is in. The Holy Spirit causes this to occur, so hiding the Word in your heart by reading it regularly is good practice and is one of the ways the Holy Spirit guides us in our day to day life.

I hope and pray that you will grow in leaps and bounds in your knowledge of God and the riches and joy we receive from Him.

What a wonderful Savior He is!

    Ge.1:14-18 "Sign" (1 of 2)

God set the sign in the everlasting covenant. "And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs,". The light as signs should be read in the context of the separation of light from darkness. In v.3-4 God expresses His will, 'Let there be light' and the Son fulfills it, and it is made clear by the latter part of the verse. There was light."And God said, Let there be light: and there was light." In v.4 we read that both parties approved. "It was good." So God divided light from darkness. This provision in the everlasting covenant therefore shall never change. So the Spirit in organising the Scripture uses 'forever' in the direct frame of reference to the Son. Creation of sun, moon and the stars came further in the covenant. It is thus we have God as the Father of light while the Son is qualified as the true light. "And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness". Significance and relevance of any sign can only be derivative from this covenant. The difference between the covenant and the Law of Moses can be explained from the following passage. Jesus explains what is the work of God. "They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?"( John 6:30)

    Michael.

The Sabbath day is the only commandment that the Seventh-day Adventists put great emphasis on.

The question is, do they tie it to salvation in any way.

Some seems to do so but indirectly.

But why just that commandment and not the rest? Again, James said "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

One would have to go to a Seventh-day Adventists church and ask them can you join their church and not hold to that doctrine.

Why the law was given in the old testament and its purpose is an whole study of its own with great importance.

This is why I recommend reading the Torah in your particular case, followed by the Gospels and on to Galatians. Then go to acts and sweep the rest of the New Testament. (Do this without commentary help if you can.)

Find the best time to read and develop a program that suits you in terms of how much you are going to read.

Focus but don't get discouraged if you can't grasp everything at once. No one can! Read on, perhaps answers lay ahead.

Then start over again from Genesis to Revelation.

I say this because of what you have shared in all your posts previously.

    God bless you.
  • S Spencer - In Reply - 9 months ago
    Hi Michael.

    Thanks for responding.

I'm glad you are able to have some relief and comfort.

Seventh-day Adventists is a denomination that differ in a few areas than most other denominations, the most notable is the Sabbath day.

    Example.

They are distinguished by their observance of Saturday/Sabbath "Day"

The commandment for the Sabbath is found in Exodus 20"8-11.

    Notice here in Exodus 31:13-18.

    who it was written to.

"Speak thou also unto the CHILDREN OF ISRAEL, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout YOUR GENERATIONS; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.

Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

Wherefore the CHILDREN OF ISRAEL shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

IT IS A SIGN BETWEEN ME AND THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed. And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

If we're applying sound hermeneutics we must consider who this is written to and coordinate this with other scriptures.

    Example.

James 2:10. "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

    Also, Colossians 2:16-17.

"Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

    See part 2.

    Ec.3:11 "Heart of man" (2 of 2)

The first part of this post was establishing where our heart ought to be set. " Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.". (Col.3:2) For this reason we die to the world and sin so we may deal with the world set in our heart by God. God formed all hearts alike and tries their works. So we shall attend to what the Preacher is instructing us. "also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end." From the beginning to the end for our intent and purpose is Jesus Christ, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end."(Re.21:6). So our heart is to be elevated as Jerusalem was. This new Jerusalem and new creation match. In the same manner the Parable of Jesus teaches us.(Matt.9:16) We are made new by our faith in his Son. "He hath made every thing beautiful in his time." This is the work of God."This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."( John 6:29) .

This being the case what we have to do with idols or for mammon? " Circumcise yourselves to the Lord, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings." Wrath of theLamb is one way of proving it. "And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake." (Re.6:12) Prophet Zechariah refers to it as his feet. Compare it with finger of God. Egyptian sooth sayers named what Moses could do was by the finger of God.(Ex.8:19) The Angel of His presence made Jerusalem move up so who are holy who are unholy was made clear. in their fear we know those (Re.6:15) "And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains" were same as in Is.2:21

    Ec.3:11 "Heart of man" (1 of 2)

"He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end."

"It shall come to pas in that day," and it is the sword reaching even unto the soul of the nation of Israel.Jeremiah refers to the same terror mentioned in the Book of Isaiah. " (Je.4:9-10) Isaiah has to say thus, " For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low."(Is.2:12-17) "And the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day".

How does that work in reality? Prophet Zechariah gives us a clue."And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces." (Ze.12:3) Do we not hear how nations twist themselves into a moral knot by justifying their 'genocidal policies' pursued in Gaza? There is no moral equivalence they say. But God says,"the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day". To prove that we have Jerusalem lifted off its position by a violent action. "All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place." (Ze.14:10). How high it must be lifted up to be considered a heavenly place. 'This feet of the Lord' causes where His throne shall be and where his footstool ought to be. Ps.110:1 says that it is the footstool for his Son. The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool." Note the expression,'thy footstool'. Isaiah quote tells the new position above the hills. nd it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it."(2:2)

"And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives." (Ze.14:4).

    Re.5:6 "The Lamb slain" (2 of 2)

Only the one who is worthy to break open the seals is the heart of God which explains Jesus Christ having a position on the right hand of the most high God. Heart of God is also a spiritual place 'heavenly places" So St Paul refers to it,"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ."(Ep.1:3) This, to continue with the analogy of the GPS tracker, is the GNSS network where we have the body soul and spirit as memorial for our accuracy. The 24 elders are not merely for your amusement so one day you give them names to prove your cleverness but our own safety. By setting your position elsewhere as the misguided sects teach Sabbath as one day to be observed are you setting it in Christ by faith? It is a day settled by man who has no stomach for truth. What is soteriology for him? It is like casting pearls before swine. He is risen and "For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God." (Col3:1-3). St Paul says he has no excuse to persist in a lie by his literalism. "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse." (Ro.1:20)

So Christ is our soul so our tracking system follows the mystery of God, " Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:/ That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him./In whom also we have obtained an inheritance."(Ep.1:9-11)

The day decreed for the Son is tagged 'unto this day' is the same as 'in that day" a tag for the Father. So Jesus said," My Father worketh hitherto, and I work."( John 5:17) What is the work of God? John 6:28 Ec.3:11) It is set in the heart of man.
  • Bennymkje - In Reply - 9 months ago
    A correction

"In the mind of God eternity is in the 'Now' so it is trying to literally date the breaking of each seal. The action is to be treated as by "the soul" or the heart of God."

    it should be read as

"In the mind of God eternity is in the 'Now' so trying to literally date the breaking of each seal is foolishness. The action is to be treated as by "the soul" or the heart of God,

    Re.5:6 "The Lamb slain" (1 of 2)

The entire breaking open seven seals are set in the vision which is set up by God. It has a back page as it were and Daniel sums it us as thus:"Judgment was set, and the books were opened." (Dan.7:10) The same multitude we have in both. "And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;"(Re.5:11) In the mind of God eternity is in the 'Now' so it is trying to literally date the breaking of each seal. The action is to be treated as by "the soul" or the heart of God. Prophet Ezekiel referring to the pride of the King of Tyrus says,"though thou set thine heart as the heart of God."(Ez.28:2). Heart is not an anatomical part but it is a spiritual space where soul of man can track truth just as GPS system. Heart from God draws its own inferences for body spirit and soul just as trilateration does from the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) network; similarly heart can decipher the world without and its characteristics as the tracker can from the network determine latitude, longitude, elevation, and time. St Paul speaks of it,"Redeeming the time, because the days are evil," how we should conduct ourselves among the ungodly?(Ep.5:16). So man refusing to correct heresies fed to him by false shepherds may ever learn but never reach truth. For this reason God told Ezekiel how to deal with impudent stubborn Israel, " and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord God; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear."(Ez.3:11). King of Tyrus set himself, "though thou set thine heart as the heart of God" it is set in hell. "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me," (Re.22:11-12)

Is.2:2 "And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it."

Here we have the consequence of breaking the seven seals mentioned in Re.6:1 "And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see." The four beasts know it already where does that rider on the white horse go to; similarly the 24 elders know the outcome for the new song gives us where they learnt it. It is not what any man could have sung by his own. "and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth." The elders as a memorial in heaven learnt from God who set him as a token of the glorious body, of the church. The number 12x12x1000 is the Spirit's way of measuring the will of the Father in terms of the Son. A single measurement of the angel-man (Re.21:17)."And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads."(Ro.14:1).

The mount Sion is the mountain of the Lord's house waiting to be established and when the Alpha and Omega says, "it is done" (Re.21:6) it shall be called Zion. These 'virgins' bear the name of the Father before they are established as God put a mark on Cain before he could found a city. "And he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch."(Ge.4:17b). On the contrary God set His sign on the 144,000 and kept them on the mountain of God. Isaiah speaks of Zion similarly. "Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation."(Is.28:16)

These elders similarly kept as a memorial so this new song carries all the characteristics of God. His signature tune as it were.
