Matt.1:1 "Generation of Jesus Christ" (2 of 2)

When Jesus declares, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me,"( John 14:6) He is the way for the day of Regeneration. The same day, one is tagged day of salvation and the other end of Regeneration which is 'from everlasting to everlasting.' The divine Will is perfect to which his holiness does not allow any correction of deletion. God's calling and gifts are irrevocable so God sanctifies the seventh day. (Ge.2:1-3) Under the covenant man who enters the day Seven is blessed, to which St Paul alludes,"hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ."(Ep.1:3-4)

"These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens," (Ge.2:4) The Word spoken by God is a continual process and it shall not return to him incomplete or void. So our fulness is not marked by generation any other than that of the Son. " In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee." (Is.49:8) The 'now' in this verse refers to will of God, "Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."(2 Co.6:2) Day of salvation applies to us and according to the earth time. "while it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation." In the day of Salvation Israel had to make a choice as Saul /Paul had to.

"And as he (Saul) journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:/And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?/And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest."(Ac.9:3-5)

    Matt.1:1 "Generation of Jesus" (1 of 2)

While studying the volume we have in Jesus, is that we are a new creation. We have a birth according to time and place. As a proof Apostle Peter testifies David for an example. "Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day." (Ac.2:29) Evangelist Matthew begins his Gospel by stating the generation of Jesus, that he is the son of David. In the Psalm David refers to him as the Lord, and 'my king'. "Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion./I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee." This knowledge of God and Man is what defines the generation of Jesus Christ. He is the man component co-eternal with God. The Word supplied and David declares it as true. It is called 'this day' which is established as 'Amen' and the Spirit while organizing the God document gives it with a tag,"unto this day".

Accordingly the host of angel appearing to the shepherds announces, "For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord./ And this shall be a sign unto you." ( Luke 2:11-12) The word concerning his birth as cited in the Psalm was fulfilled. The sign refers to its fulfilment.

In the context of the generation let us define the day from the life of David, his city and his grave are physical markers and it is part Israel as a nation. Jesus as his son also testified, "For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end."( Luke 22:37-39). This 'day' is where the things that are written by the Word before the worlds began are accomplished. When Jesus declares, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me,"( John 14:4) He is the way for the day of Regeneration. The same day, one is tagged day of salvation

    Matt.12:34 "Generation of vipers"

"O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh."

In order to understand what it means by our calling we begin with our heart. "From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth./He fashioneth their hearts alike."(Ps.33:14-15) When God has breathed into the nostrils of one he has done equally with all. However how each one responds to it is different. They have works as the Pharisees would seek a sign from Jesus. Are they seeking holiness or merely out of curiosity? As with the Pharisee in the Parable he has his works to show in order to justify himself. Before men they certainly sound holy as we have those play racial tropes and slurs to justify themselves. What does God speak of their fasts and prayers? " Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?"(Is.58:6)

So our estimation of our own worth does not count.

So we speak of heart as God sees it, can only by the word, which was with God. ( John 1:1) Jesus Christ, the word become flesh in us is where we are counted as being part of the generation of Jesus Christ. St Matthew refers to the Gospel as the book of the generation of Jesus Christ. "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world," gives us a beginning. Christ dwelling in us by faith consequently gives us volume. Without Christ how we judge ourselves is no different than the Pharisee. Those who "trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others" are in the same cesspool of their hypocrisy. White Evangelicals or Ethnic minorities or whoever serve as false witness to despise the other belongs to the generation of vipers. Vipers are cannibals and in the church also we see them devouring each other on the basis of race and colour.

    Re.5:13 "Heard I saying"

"And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever."

John's testimony is not second hand but what he heard with his ears. Volume of a believer called under the covenant is not three dimensional but must include time as well. That is what the God document signifies. Comparing Greek Aramaic and Hebrew texts are well and good but without the element of faith accepting the many promises of God it is like taking an online course in swimming without ever hitting the water. Amazing, isn't it? "Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth," is merely on paper without changing your life accordingly. "For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies./These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man."(Matt.15:19-20) This is what Jesus taught as well lived during his earthly ministry. It is an example for us to live by. He was among men but his heart was in heavenly places. How do we know it? Jesus leaving his anonymous years at Nazareth he settles down in Capernaum, according to the word of God, and Evangelist Matthew says," From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."(4:17). He saw the same light others saw from where sat, in heavenly place, and the sign was unmistakeable, "The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.." This is what volume of a child of God signals. Led by the Spirit the word of God takes on an exceptional clarity, as some one rapping on the door and that cannot be put of. "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."(Matt.6:21)

    Momsage,

By the time you receive this, Part 1 of the Matthew Studies will probably be found on Page 20. The way to get to page 20 is to scroll down to the bottom of the page to where it says, "Next Discussion Page." You may have to click on that a couple of times to get to page 20. Please know that Part 1 will not remain on Page 20 for too long.

Below are the pages you will find these studies:

    (Page 20) - Part 1 through Part 7

    (Page 19) - Part 8

    (Page 18) - Part 9 through Part 13

    (Page 17) - Part 14 through Part 18

    (Page 16) - Part 20 through Part 24

    (Page 14) - Part 25 and Part 27

    (Page 13) - Part 28 through Part 37

    (Page 11) - Part 19 and Part 26

Again, please know that these pages will shift down over time. If I might suggest to you, once you find Part 1, I would copy and paste it onto a separate Word document, and then copy Page 2, Page 3, and so on until you have copied and save all 37 Parts. This will make them easier to find since the pages I have given you are going to keep on shifting with more things being continuously added to Page 1, causing everything else to shift further away.

I hope this helps. God Bless!!!

    Brother Spencer,

Thank you! One thing I believe is a certain is that when Jesus does come back, every Jew is going to recognize Him as their Messiah, the one they crucified. Those who rejected Him back then are going to realize they made a mistake.

    False Peace part 3

1 Thessalonians 5:3 KJV: For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Daniel 11:43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

Isaiah 10:7 Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few.

When the Antichrist arrives; perhaps he doesn't even realize what his destiny is or how far Satan will lead him into destruction at the outset. Prophecy in Daniel mentions his flattery as well as understanding "dark sentences" or the occult. Dividing the land for gain also shows how everyone gets a piece of the action in the Daniel 9:27 covenant; which certainly sounds like some of the concepts going on today to get the Saudis involved as well as other nations to make the borders acceptable to all with the reconfigurations planned.

Going back to our lives today; we could look simply at food and clothing ( 1 Tim. 6:8) and be content (notice it doesn't even mention shelter). However as Paul stated he learned to be content in want as well as plenty ( Philippians 4:11-13). With peace of course we have joy; so that Paul and Silas could sing and pray joyfully in shackled chains ( Acts 16:25-26). The Lord gave them a quick deliverance at that point; with the jailor and his family coming to faith and being baptized before the authorities released them the next day along with Paul's insistence on escort out since they were Roman citizens. His later imprisonments would be longer although he had much latitude in leading other prisoners; and eventually of course he was martyred.

We are seated in heavenly places (Hebrews I think). We have peace the world can't have ( John 14:27). Let us warn others about false peace and avoid the pitfalls ourselves.

    Brother Ronald.

Sorry, I should have proof read this.

    Here's a edited version.

The sanctuary in question was a sanctuary where the Jews performed the ministry given to them by the Lord.

Everything about the tabernacle, the ministry and the rituals was given to the Jews only and was to be performed in Jerusalem.

If a Gentile wanted to serve he had to become a proselyte.

In the old testament, "by the nation Israel" God showed the world there was a true and LIVING GOD who provides.

He used them to make his name great amongst the Nations and he's still doing that, whether by chastening them or blessing them.

He performed his promises and covenants and there's more to come.

God also, by that nation showed the depravity of man apart from a New birth or regenerated HEART.

Everything about that ministry pointed to our fallen nature and the need for Jesus.

Their offerings and rituals ect.. pointed towards Christ. THAT WAS ITS GLORY. which glory was to be done away with:

However, That ministry was called the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones.

2 Corinthians 3:9 reads, "For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

(Look at verse 10) 3:10FOR EVEN THAT WHICH WAS MADE GLORIOUS HAD NO GLORY IN THIS RESPECT, by reason of the glory that excelleth.

The ministration of death couldn't make you righteous!

Read 2 Corinthians 3:13-14. and notice their blindness .

(They were blinded when Moses read to them!)

Verse 15) But even unto this day, when Moses is read, THE VAIL IS UPON THEIR HEART.

    Verse 16) Important verse..

"Nevertheless WHEN IT SHALL TURN TO THE LORD, the vail shall be taken away.

When what "shall turn to the Lord? Their heart!!

When their heart shall turn to the Lord the veil shall be taken away.

Again im sorry for such a mess.

    I'm working tonight and multitasking.

    Blessings

    Hello Jaz,

Thank you for the question, and it is nice to speak with you again. I totally understand your question on this. It is true that the Jews rejected Jesus as their Messiah when He was here the first time. Even today, Orthodox Jews still do not acknowledge Jesus as their Messiah, and they don't believe in His second coming. But since the time of Christ's resurrection to the present time, there are Messianic Jews, those Jews who have responded to the gospel message and have received Christ as their Messiah/Savior. In my post, it is the Messianic Jews that I mentioned and was referring to, not Orthodox Jews.

Again, to this day, Orthodox Jews still do not believe Jesus is their Messiah. They're still waiting on their Messiah to come. In fact, if you or I were to ask for their view on Mark 13:32, or any verse in the New Testament for that matter, they more than likely will not want to discuss it at all since they don't believe in the NT.

Something else to be aware of is that if you ever get the opportunity to speak to an Orthodox Jew, they will probably frown at you if you mention Old Testament to them. The term Old Testament is offensive to an Orthodox Jew because they don't believe in a New Testament. We call it the Old Testament, but they call it the Tanak (TNK), the Torah, the Neviim, and the Ketuvim, which is the Law, the Prophets, and the Writings.

So, if you're ever speaking to an Orthodox Jew, or if you're ever in a Jewish bookstore by chance, and you're asking anything about the Old Testament, you might want to say Tanach instead.

Again, thank you for the question. But please know that there are Messianic Jews today that have received Christ as their Messiah, and they are looking for His second coming just as we are.

    God Bless!!!

    Hey S Spencer,

I know when Jesus first came their eyes and ears were closed because the fullness of time had come, because they had gone so far away from God, judgment had been given on that generation. We see the similarity to that in Hosea, the temple was destroyed. I think we are on the same page with Matthew 23:39 as this happens with the fullness of the Gentiles.

When Jesus returns and sets up the kingdom on earth, they will call on Him as their Messiah and king. But my understanding is Hosea 5:15 God removed his glory from the sanctuary and the city for their unwillingness to repent and return to God the punishment was the destruction of the first temple and their captivity.

    Thanks, brother,

    God bless,

Thanks Jaz for replying and a list of those names.

The plurality in Yehovah Elohim never refers to Angels, they don't participate in the creation.

Isaiah 44:24 reads "Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb,

    I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens ALONE; that spreadeth abroad the earth BY MYSELF;

So in Genesis 1:1when it reads "In the beginning God/Elohim created the heaven and the earth, it doesn't refer to Angels.

So why is Elohim used and who does this Plural name consist of?

Throughout the creation process Elohim is used.

This reasonably connects Jesus to this claim. John 1:1-3 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Also in Genesis 1:26 it reads, "And God said, Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness:

Not only did Angels "not" participate in the creation, we're not made in the image or likeness of Angels as shown in 1 Corinthians 15:44-48.

Psalms 19:1 reads, "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

(The creation shows God's greatness, It's his GLORY!)

Isaiah 42:8 reads, "I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another,

But listen to Jesus in John 17:5, "And now, O Father, GLORIFY THOU ME WITH THINE OWN SELF with the glory WHICH I HAD WITH THEE BEFORE THE WORLD WAS.

    God bless.

    False Peace part 2

Most of us should know about the first seal of Revelation; there are some Reformers who consider this to be talking of Christ not Antichrist but I won't get into that here. The Daniel 9:27 prophecy at least when I was growing up was well known in Christian circles. My theory is that someone will have to overturn the existing structure of the world in regard to the UN; NATO and other organizations. He will be the "end all" for what everyone seeks; the Jews will think he is their Messiah; the Muslims the 12th Imam; and other in the New Age and Eastern faiths some risen master or Maitreya. Eventually he will be heralded by the false wonders and signs of the False Prophet but it appears that and the deadly wound comes later at the mid point of the Tribulation.

We could get into detail here how even some from Turkey have looked to Israel to rebuild their temple. I have conjectured about Psalm 83 and the elimination of the surrounding threats to eventually lead to the Ezekiel 38 conflict; as only then will Israel consider living in a land of "unwalled villages" ( Ezekiel 38:11). Their guard will be down after a period of time when they are convinced this Antichrist has their best wishes in mind.

Just as the God of the Bible has held back all the catastrophic plagues and judgments of the Tribulation He has also restrained this Antichrist Beast from taking the stage and accomplishing the "confirming" of the covenant; which implies something already in the works which certainly could pertain to the Abrahamic covenant being finalized with many other nations. Whether it is that or some other document time will tell. The delusion of peace on earth is bound to come; and it seems no one is warning against it.

The Babylon the Great religious harlot precedes the Antichrist's 42 months enforcing the mark of the beast. The Lord has to remove even the few that remain today in the compromised churches before the final fulfillment as the whore.

    False Peace

There is no peace for the wicked ( Isaiah 48:22; 57:21) and other passages.

If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation. ( John 11:48).

Having explored this first passage before; I thought I would include the second for consideration. It would seem that the religious leaders were indebting themselves in what they would consider a hostile takeover of their nation because of the Gentiles not tolerating their unbelief. This was near no doubt near to the "triumphal entry" of Christ which came immediately before the crucifixion. They should have realized that God Himself through Christ would destroy the wicked when He comes to rule and reign with His heavenly armies.

These passages remind us of today; when people wish to continue in their wickedness much like Roman society as a whole did with their pagan worship and associated sins and how every empire has fallen making our own demise a certainty. Prophetically the first seal signifies what could be described as enforced peace; or submission which is basically as Islam promises to happen in the last days under the final Imam. With the world's technology it has been hard for total control of any dictator of communication; although economic control is getting a tighter and tighter grip. The power vacuum in recent decades brings a sort of half hearted proxy war mentality to the world. This is due to the realization of mutually assured destruction with an all out nuclear conflict and a rather tepid and disorganized NATO and related groups who are trying to cobble together a large enough resistance to counter Russia who they are convinced wants to take over all of Europe eventually. It seems the internet has also been where the main emphasis has been in various platforms to gain influence of the minds of young people to various ideologies. The "trojan horse" of immigrants has certainly brought many camels in the tent

You may add to your reasons for the use of I vs J in 1611 version. J was not added to the alphabet until after 1611 publication. It was the first revision for the Cambridge, who held the copyrights. All the J words were spelled with I. There were groups that formed claiming you had to use Iesus or God did not hear your prayers. I guess they did not take into consideration foreign languages that had different spellings.
