Luke 15:15 - And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
And he went and joined himself. Now the term "himself" is a reflexive pronoun and that is not in the Greek text. It's literally a passive voice. He was joined up with.
In other words, he was the victim. He didn't do any joining, the world took him in. And the word for "joined" is the word for glue. Just to show you the bond that has been made between him and the world.
He went out and the world bonded itself to him to be a citizen of that country; What made it worse is that he went away to a faraway country to be a citizen of another country. This would be a Gentile.
Picture yourself as a Jewish person, a Jewish boy run away in rebellion, finding yourself in this condition, so some people take you in.
Now you are working for a Gentile, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. These are the worst of the unclean animals. Jewish people don't even like to touch pigs or hogs. He's been sent in to feed the swine.
Luke 16:9 - And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.
Mammon is from an Aramaic word, MAMMONA. Most translate it as having to do with money. But it literally has to do with everything in the physical world, including aspirations for what the physical world has to offer.
That includes if you have got dreams of a career, and you're putting that ahead of the things of the Lord. You are not seeking His will. Anything that has to do with this physical world is MAMMONA, and it is the MAMMONA of unrighteousness. Every single thing in this physical world is unrighteous.
Luke 15:4 - What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
The term "which is lost" is one word in the Greek text. It is a Perfect Participle that shows a condition the sheep is in. This is a lost sheep that is lost. He is always going astray. He is known as a lost sheep.
We have the same thing at the end of Verse 6, "which was lost," one Perfect Participle describing the condition of the sheep. Whether he's with the 99 or not he's called a lost sheep. Very interesting!
Luke 15:8 - Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?
Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, and that is what's called the DRACHMA. The DRACHMA is the Greek coin that is parallel to the Roman denarius, and it represents one day's wage. And according to tradition, Jewish women would wear a necklace of 10 DRACHMA.
That was their dowry, and they would wear it around their neck. This woman had 10 pieces of silver which parallels the dowry that a woman would wear around her neck.
And here is the Condition:
If she loses one piece, One DRACHMA! And keep in mind, this is in a house with dirt floors. This is in a house with no windows, very difficult to find her coin that fell. So, her Care over that, she lights a candle, and as I have mentioned already, there is no word candle all through the King James text. It is the word lamp.
She lights a lamp and sweeps the house. Now the word sweep is in the Present Tense, continually sweeping. She doesn't do it once. She just keeps going until she finds it. And she seeks diligently till she finds it. And again, just like the shepherd, she's not going to stop until she finds the coin.
Luke 14:33 - So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.
Here's how this verse is broken down in the Greek text:
Whosoever he be of you that does not forsake, and that is a Present Tense verb, continuously forsake all that he has. The word "forsakes" APOSTAIA, that is where we get our term apostasy from. It means to separate yourself, to abandon, to standoff from.
Whosoever is not continually forsaking all that he has. The term "all that he has" has a Reflexive Pronoun in there, meaning all of the possessions that belong to him, he cannot be my disciple.
He is not telling people to take everything that you have and get rid of it. This is the relationship that the believer must have because those things will interfere with following Jesus Christ.
Remember what Paul said in 1 Corinthians Chapter 7, purchase but don't possess it, because no matter whether it is during your lifetime or afterwards, whatever you purchase today is going to be gone tomorrow.
Jesus is saying that whosoever does not continually standoff, separate, abandon all that he has, cannot be my disciple.
Luke 15:2 - And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
The word "receive" in the Greek means to welcome. Jesus did more than receive sinners. He welcomed them. And Jesus welcomed eating with them.
Luke 14:26 - If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
The word "hate" in this verse is the word MISEO. It is not the word for hostile. It is a word of comparison. When MISEO is used with any of the words that have to do with love, it is showing comparison.
What Jesus is saying here is that you must love Him so much that the comparison between Him and anyone else, or anything else makes it look like you hate them.
Luke 14:27 - And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
And whosoever doth not bear. That's called a Present Tense verb. It shows continuous action. Whosoever does not continuously bear his cross, and come after me, again the word "come" is a Present Tense verb, continually carrying his cross and continually coming after me.
Here is the word I have mentioned before. It is the word "after" OPEISO. It means behind. The proper position to follow Christ is behind Him.
Luke 14:32 - Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.
An ambassage is an ambassador. In fact, it is the word PRESBAYA for elder. He sends out an ambassador (an elder), and desires conditions of peace.
It would be foolish to go out there being outnumbered two to one, as we see in Luke 14:31. Somebody would say, what are you thinking? Putting all your men in jeopardy and count the cost.
"And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty."
Colours presented as with the garments of the High Priest are for glory and beauty. Fulness of Christ as the High Priest of our profession denotes the beauty of holiness of God. "O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth." (Ps.96:9). The colours of the earth owe to the optics of the physical eye and it only tells in part. The heavens also declare the glory of God that has its own beauty. The two worlds framed by the word of God has colors as made to appear. So while we study the garments of Aaron this unseen glory and beauty must be understood as intrinsic quality of God a Spirit. For example God is the Father of lights while the Son is the true Light which are tucked in the double fold and are called Urim and Thummim. These were stones of divination under the Law of Moses but it points to Christ the Judge.
Jesus Christ served as "the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world." This speaks of his humanity and what God commands Moses is a shadow of good things to come.
v.16 : Foursquare it shall be being doubled; a span shall be the length thereof, and a span shall be the breadth thereof." The 12 stones serve as the foundations of the holy city of God, "And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb."(Re.21:14) Christ is the foundation on which the city is built. The Light of the Lamb that lay hidden behind the breastplate of Aaron's garment is in full flow in the new heaven and new earth! It is in keeping with the narrative mode of Inversion.
"And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron's heart, when he goeth in before the Lord: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the Lord continually."(28:30)
"And thou shalt make an hanging for the door of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework."
The same linen wrought with needlework where colours signified holiness of God at the door was within as well. "ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them."(v.1) The vail separating the Most holy from the holy place was similarly adorned."And thou shalt make a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made."(v.31) Purple colour indicated Christ as the king of kings while the scarlet thread traced the redemptive aspect of the Word become flesh. Isaiah inspired y the Spirit sums it as thus:"though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."(Is.1:18) It is in this sense the Spirit has employed the colour in the birth of twins of Tamar, and later in the saving of Rahab the harlot.(He.11:31)
Again to quote from Gill, "for it ( the vail) was made of thread six times doubled, and was four fingers thick, as the Jewish writers say: this vail may represent the sin of man, which separates between God and man, was removed by the death of Christ when the vail was rent, and so the way to heaven opened." We can say with certainty of the indwelling Spirit the rent in the vail establishes him as the way. "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."(He.4:16)
"Wrought with needlework" explains the work was seen only one side. This marks the difference between the curtain of v.1 and v.36.

among us (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth. Joh_1:14.
Jesus is not known to the princes of the world. He is the "Lord of Glory."
None of the princes of this world knew, for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory. 1Co 2:8.
Jesus is the light of the world and a glory to the people.
A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel. Luk_2:32
The Lord of Hosts and the King of Glory are the Father in the Old Testament and Jesus in the New Testament. He is the "Lord of Hosts" in Revelation 19:11- 20.
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of Glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah. Psa 24:9- 10 (done)
Jesus Presented at the Temple
And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ. And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel. And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him. ( Luke 2:25-33 KJV)
With reference to the Trinity, the title "Glory" is applied to each of the persons in the Holy Trinity: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, respectively "The Father of Glory, The Lord of Glory and "The Spirit of Glory." As God will not give his glory to another, then Father, Son, and Holy Spirit together are the one God.
This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah. ( Psalms 24:6-10 KJV)
The "King of Glory," who commands the armies of heaven and will eventually defeat all His enemies in this world, is none other than Jesus Christ. He is the Lord of hosts ( Revelation 19:11- 20). He is Father in the Old Testament and Son in the New Testament, thanks to the incarnation.
I am the LORD; that is my name, and my glory I will not give to another, nor my praise to graven images. ISA 42:8.
The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran, Acts 7:2.
Jesus is the Lord of Glory on earth.
None of the princes of this world knew it, for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory. 1Cor 2:8.
As well as being the Lord of Glory on earth, Jesus is: "The glory of the Gentiles."
For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream; then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees. Isa_66:12.
Jesus is "the glory in the midst."
For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about and the glory in the midst of her. Zec_2:5.
Awesome on the remodeling & grandbaby.! Not for God because I know He will heal her. Not being able to have kids natural is what makes things hard for her but again, God will take care of her.! I had to have 3 C sections so she'll be fine. A refresher in children these days is tough yet bringing them up knowing about Jesus will most definitely help tremendously.! Love & patience goes a Long way.! You got this, God bless y'all.
"And every one of the curtains shall have one measure." Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever" (He.13:18) In the covering 'of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers' skins' we already covered the predicative aspect of the word of God. Now coming to the curtain as it is hung about the volume it encompasses signifies the two worlds framed by the word of God. (He.11:3). How the outermost is attached to the other are by means of taches of pure gold. " And thou shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the taches: and it shall be one tabernacle." It signifies faith.
26:9 "And thou shalt couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shalt double the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tabernacle." As mentioned earlier this doubling refers to grace and truth which Jesus Chist as the Word made flesh represents. The two worlds framed has enfolded the lower parts as well, so to speak.
On the rear "the half curtain that remaineth, shall hang over the backside of the tabernacle" represents the lower parts of the earth. Jesus Christ went in his Spirit and preached to the souls in prison so the gospel covers them as well. "Good tidings were proclaimed to the dead. (1 Pe.4:6;Ep.4:9) Lastly we shall consider "the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them."
Here is a quote,"for this was not wrought by a needle, which only shows the figure on one side, but by weaving. Perhaps the vision of Ezekiel could give us an idea, "And it was made with cherubims and palm trees, so that a palm tree was between a cherub and a cherub; and every cherub had two faces." (Ez.41:18-26). These curtains however have only one measure; be of equal length and breadth.
v.2 "The length of one curtain 28 cubits, and the breadth four cubits has proportion, 1:7. Seven denotes perfection.
He "that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in."(Is.40:22)
God stretches it out from end to end for a purpose so it is the Fellowship of God with Man we look for at present; without this fellowship our access to it is impossible. So firstly we accept the volume of the tabernacle describes the fullness of Christ. Three heavens is rather internalised as it were, and set spiritual significance of the physical form, the numbers materials, colours in focus.
The tabernacle of Moses was made with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet; the ground of these curtains was fine linen, twined or doubled. Fine linen as applied to the church, signifies the clothing of the saints with the righteousness of Christ, "And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints./And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God." (Re.19:8-9). This blessedness is incorporated in the everlasting covenant.
Here is a quote, "there were four sorts in every thread, one thread of fine linen, and three of wool, and every thread was doubled six times; lo, the four sorts, when they were twined together, there were twenty four double to a thread;''which if so, must make a stuff of a very great consistence and stiffness". We shall come across the command number Four and the usage doubled as in the case of the curtain one the east side, "And thou shalt couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shalt double the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tabernacle." This doubling is repeated on the breastplate of the high priest so significance of it cannot be coincidental. Grace and truth insisted upon whosoever enters therein. Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ
Jesus declared also "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."(24:35) Fulness of Jesus Christ is established by his word. So we shall see that he came to the world as the Word made flesh, and it shall apply to the heaven and the earth as well. He came to fulfil the law.(Matt.5:17)
In the light above let us examine the covering of the tabernacle. Ex.26:7-14. "And thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers' skins."
Compare this with the vision of St John: "And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;/And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind./And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.(Re.6:12-14)
The sun became as sackcloth of hair and the moon became as blood. The badger skins and ram's skins dyed red are indicated and it underscored the the pure speech of the Spirit "For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven."(Ps.119:89) Symbolism of covering shall stand the test, "The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times."(Ps.12:6)
The imagery of heaven departing as a scroll also fits perfectly considering the design of the tabernacle, specification of materials, mode of construction and the appurtenances thereof are intended for mobility. "And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:"(Ex.40:36)
He "that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in" gives us in the tabernacle a foretaste of the shadow of good things to come.
Great Scriptures Everett that you have given to clearly show the the Nature of the Triune God & the Deity of Christ Who has come forth from (Gk. Ek: to come out of - not a separate a creation) the Father. If I might include these others in support of your list: Mark 2:5-7; John 16:28; John 17:5; John 20:27,28; Philippians 2:5-8. To deny these Scriptures, distorts the whole Character of God and dilutes His great sacrificing Love reaching out to & imploring sinful men to turn from sin unto the Love of God in Christ. We need to take all Scriptures into account or else our view will be lop-sided & erroneous. GBU.
The Lord has been faithful to me recently with my job search, and I'm asking for the same request again. Before I do, let me share His faithfulness in leading me. I had applied to a job at a staffing agency, and called back twice to see if I was hired, but no one responded back. So I applied at another place, and found the job I'm currently at and was told it would be for 3 weeks. This is the middle of June and I'm still working there. The job is much closer to home than the other, the crews pray before each shift (have never experienced this), and my closest friend my elementary school happened to work there. He provided. With this, they have been cutting back hours recently, and I'm off this week. Would you pray I'm granted discernment with finding a job the same weekly hours? Thank you for your prayer.
Deut. 6:4 says that God is One using the word "echad" that means "a unified oneness" as it was used for the marriage union of Adam and Eve.
Isaiah 43:10 is emphatic that there is only One True God; that there was no other God that preceded Him, nor will there be made any other God that will come after Him. This speaks to His eternality, uniqueness, and that He is not one of many gods who have a divine nature of their own.
Since the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are said in Scripture to be God (see my other posts) then this means that all three are eternally God and exist from everlasting to everlasting. (Ps.90:1-2; Heb. 9:14; Micah 5:2) So it is true that the triune nature of the One God has always been and will always be this way. His unity and threeness never changes.
But let's be very clear that the Christian faith from the apostles through the centuries have affirmed that God is One in Being, but also attests that God is three distinct persons in Unity. Over the centuries as Christian leaders grapple with this doctrine many views have been promoted, discussed, with diving deeply into Scripture to know what is truly taught in Scripture. Many views have been refuted Scripturally with the consensus repeatedly coming back to this view of One God in Three Persons in Complete and Perfect Union with each other. Not three Gods, not a boss God and subordinate beings who have been made divine, not a plethora of views that have emerged throughout the ages that have been deemed false views of the Godhead.
As for me, I will believe the whole counsel of God revealed in Scripture on this doctrine and not form my beliefs on selected Scripture that prove only that God is One, or only that God is Triune, but on the preponderance of Scriptures that say that God is Both One Divine Being and three distinct persons existing in unity with one another.
Now that I have posted about God's oneness, persons, the divinity of Father, son, and Spirit, His "Threeness" I will now speak of His Divine Unity. It is does encompass all of the above things mentioned, but there are also other aspects of His Unity I'd like to speak about, too.
First of all, God is a Unity in the sense that all of what we delineate out as His attributes or characteristics in truth are a complete unified Divine Essence that only God possesses. All of what we can say to describe Him are not different parts of His Being, but are the completely unified Divine Nature with its infinite perfection. And because He is a perfect Unity, God does not change in His nature.
The second way God is a Unity is within the Godhead of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The persons are distinct and aware that they are we, us, he, him, his, ours, me, my I (read John's Last Supper Discourse), yet they are indivisibly unified in the one Beng of the Divine Nature.
They have always been three distinction that have personhood for all of eternity and have forever related to one another in this union. Some of how they relate to one another has been revealed to us, but there is infinitely more to their union is not.
Jesus said that He and the Father are One, that if you have seen the Son, you are also seeing the Father
The Holy spirit is called the Eternal Spirit, the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Jesus, the Spirit of Truth who proceeds from within this union into the world and into believers while still remaining unified and omnipresence.
The Scriptures say that the Father created all things, the Son, Jesus, created all things and that the Spirit gives life to all things.
The Scriptures say that the Father raised Jesus from the dead, that Jesus raised Himself, and that the Spirit raised Jesus from the dead.
These divine actions happened by way of the unified nature of God's one Being, with each distinct person having part in what occurred.
I am glad that your daughter has your sister to care for her in her recovery. Sounds like a really complicated recovery. I pray that she will regain all of her abilities and will walk again soon.
I have been busy also with the house reno getting to the last few stages and I need to be here to be sure we understand one another as they are putting in the final kitchen cabinets Monday and an island. Then the countertops go in. I wanted to be sure they leave the best measurement spaces between appliances for the work stations I wish to have.
My new grandbaby, Rose is now two months old and such a sweetie. It is so great to be with her every day and to support mom as she learns to mother this baby. so, Grandma GiGi and Grandpa Gus are getting a refresher in child care! Brings back so many memories of when our boys were babies.
"And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was shewed thee in the mount."
The breadth as a basic unit Length is thrice, where Three is a command number indicating the Son. This being the case we need look for the single measure without which we cannot say the fullness of God is in the tabernacle. "And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be."(25:20). In short the single measurement we have Christ represented in Ark of the covenant with the cherubim as two witnesses.
"And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel."(Re.21:17).
"The tabernacle was a rectangular enclosure, in length about 45 feet (i.e., reckoning a cubit at 18 inches) and in breadth and height about 15." Most holy place is a cube similar to the holy city of God. "The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.(21:16) The tent covering with several layers (26:7-11) indicated heaven.
The tabernacle facing the east has its own significance. After the fall of man we read "So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life."(Ge.3:24). So the tabernacle set the direction that kept the way of the tree of life. The cherubim were not to deter man but as witnesses for the man blessed by the covenant access to the tree of life. This is what we see in Re.22:1. Their flaming swords did not allow man any other other way. "I am the way."

8. Jesus is God with us (Immanuel). Matt 1.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one omnipresent God, consistent with His Law. In Exo 20:3. He tells us to have "no other gods before me." ( Exo 20:1-3) Those who deny God's omnipresent nature on earth have another god.
Other references that support "one triune God" and not a "trinity of three" are: Isa 9:6-7; 1Tim 3:16; Mat 1:23; Joh 14:9; Joh 1:1-14; Lev 11:44; Joh 4:24; Mar 14:62; Joh 8:24; Exo 3:14; Joh 10:30-33; Rev 1:7-9; Rev 1:18; Mat 28:17; Heb 13:8; Joh 6:61-64, and there are more.
1 Thessalonians 5:23- 28 confirms our triune nature. "May the very God of peace sanctify you wholly, and I pray God your whole (1) spirit, (2) soul, and (3) body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."
Being made in the image of God means we cannot be separated; otherwise, we are dead like all idols. But praise His holy name, our one omnipresent tripartite God has appeared in the Old and New Testaments in the image of man,
Matthew 28:19: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Ghost:
John 10:30: I and my Father are one.
John 1:1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (One God)
What God showed Moses on the mount was a pattern, "the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.(He.8:5). According to the exposition of Gill, "Tabnith", the word here used, signifies the structure and disposition of anything, i.e. the form of it in a four square, in roundness, in a triangle, or in any of the like figures. It is the volume of Jesus Christ the Man component where the Word become flesh gives the Father Son relation its own marker. The writer to the Hebrews makes it evident. Besides the Spirit sets an example of the relationship in heaven by setting Moses in terms of his brother. Moses is diffident and he persists from taking on the charge of God to his fury and finally settles for an Association. God will speak to him the word " And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do./And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God."(Ex.4:15-16) It is like the power and wisdom of the Word is user friendly. God works with Man (Moses and Aaron) so the people are in the know of what is expected of them.
The Spirit moving upon the face of the waters (Ge.1:2) likewise works Up and Down. Moses and Aaron consequently are taught what they should do. So Aaron and the priests serving God are associates. This principle is what we find in Matt.10:40 and Luke 10:16)
"According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it." The phrase 'all that I show thee' can only be Jesus Christ "And he is before all things, and by him all things consist."(Col.1:17)
Zec_2:5.
And the Word was made flesh and dwelt am
"And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:"
"And the powers of the heavens shall be shaken"
He "that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in" gives us in the tabernacle a foretaste of the shadow of good things to come.
cont.

Romans 8:26- 27: Likewise, the Spirit also helps our infirmities, for we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit makes intercession for us with groanings that cannot be uttered. (Read More...)

3. All the fullness of the Father dwells in Christ. [For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell, Col 1:19]
