    Amen Brother Jesse!

That is comforting, especially knowing that the Spirit of God gathers us and there's times when we are in a mixed multitude where all don't Christ, though you're in the midst of a great company there can be a since of loneliness.

That's probably going to be a norm considering the evidence of Christendom on thr rise.

    That verse is very comfortable.

BTW, I will catch up the reading this weekend, I'm enjoying them.

    God bless you brother.

    Dan.7:10 "Judgement was set" (3 of 3)

"The judgment was set, and the books were opened." The Spirit contrasts the dynamics of Power and Wisdom principles signifying God in terms of the Word. The Ancient of Days representing judgment is seated on a fiery throne. The Word or the Law is introduced there and it is open. The same vision when is presented to John we see the Lamb slain as Wisdom personified. "stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth."(Re.5:6) As for the book, " And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals."(v.1) We see it further down reduced smaller in size. "And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth."(Re.10:8) Here we see a lapse of time, indicating that God has set in motion so the earth without form and void shall be made in the glory of God. Glory of the Lord in essence is how the principles of Power and Wisdom are interacting. In eternity we have the same heaven depicted as in the night vision of Daniel as three heavens, as against the earth below where saved nations are allowed to walk in. This is Jerusalem of Mixed peoples, both Jews and the Gentiles walking under the light of the Lamb. In short the heaven and the earth in Ge.1:1 refers to the unseen world of divine Will made to appear.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth" The Word become flesh refers to Jesus Christ who of God became wisdom. "But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption"(1 Co.1:30). Compare the mighty angel clothed with a cloud, with,"and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven,"(Re.10:1; Dan 7:13)

John 17:17 "Thy word is truth" (2 of 3)

Kingdom of God has a foundation."Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity."(2 Ti.2:19).So God has a word for man, "Wherefore hear the word of the Lord," This foundation is laid on a stone, "Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation:" It is sure foundation and it upon which Wisdom has built her house with seven pillars. (Is.28:14,16;Pr.9:1) In token of this foundation we have various precious stones to indicate the throne of God and we see them in the visions of Ezekiel and of John. Apart from these we have one that marks the throne of the Lamb.

"And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb." These are set in precious stones to be seen as the breastplate of the high priest was to be seen for glory and beauty. "And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl."(21:21) This pearl establishes the glory of the Son who as the writer to the Hebrews says, Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high."(He.1:3) The word of God created this city on the sure foundation of Jesus Christ whose death and resurrection gives out the radiance. "And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof."(Re.21:23-24) This glory sets the hyphenated thrones as one. The throne of God signifies Power and glory which is what our prayer carries."For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen."

    Matt.6:13 "Thy kingdom come" (1 od 3)

" For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever." Kingdom God has a foundation as heaven is one world which is unseen. The Lord's Prayer teaches us to set the earth with the fulness thereof so both are reconciled. As the Amen and true and Faithful witness, our prayer is in him so we have the words 'forever' and Amen in agreement. In Jesus we have the boldness to ask God. The words are ours and we ask in faith which makes the two worlds mirror the other. (He.11:3)

The inner dynamics with which these worlds are as dynamics of Jesus Christ is the visible image of the invisible God keep us grow from glory to glory.

The Spirit sets Power of God in terms of a throne which is what we see in the night vision of Daniel."his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire./A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him."(Dan.7:9-10).

Inner dynamics of Power and Wisdom gives us glory which gives a throne, which is what we see in Re.22:1.

In the vision of Ezekiel we are shown how the throne of God and of the Lamb are hyphenated. In the vision it is the threshold. "and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar."(Ez.47:1) The living waters refer to the river of time and the pure river water of life flowing in the middle has a direction. A similar hyphenation we see the Ancient of days in the night vision and that the inaugural vision."and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool."(7:9) In John's vision " His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire." Throne of God is same."For I am the Lord; I change not." Throne of the Lamb is set Up and down, Zion New Jerusalem New heaven and new earth.

    Hey JimmyJohns629,

    I hope you don't mind.

Something you may look into; Jewish days start at sunset. If Jesus was crucified on Wed., there would be about 2-3 hrs. of day on Wed. after they put Him in the tomb because He had to be buried before the sunset. Then there would be Wed. day Thur. night Thur. day Fri. night Fri. day Sat. night Sat. day Sun. night. If Jesus were to be in the tomb for three days and three nights if Jesus was crucified on a Wed. Jesus would be in the tomb longer than 3 and 3. Jesus was resurrected on Sunday before sunrise which was the Feast of Firstfruits which is the first day after the Sabbath after Passover.

Another clue, Jesus was crucified on Passover day, the next day would be the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread which is a Sabbath day. So, if Jesus was crucified on a Wed. Thur. would be a Sabbath as John called it a high day, which would make the next day Fri. just a preparation day for the 7th day Sabbath Sat. The women could have gone to the tomb on Fri.

You can find the truth in the last 5 days of Jesus's ministry in the four gospels.

    God bless,

Finishing up my reading for the evening, I am reading in John 14:18, and Jesus says, "I will not leave you as orphans." And then He says, "I will come to you.

What a beautiful piece of scripture. Have any of you ever felt like an orphan as a Christian? After you receive Christ, sometimes it might seem like you have less friends and less things that you can do.

But Jesus says He is not going to leave any of us believers as orphans. He says I am going to come to you. If you ever get that feeling as though you were no different than an orphan, just keep in mind that if you have received Christ as your Savior, He is with you always!

    Blessings to all!

    Luke (Part 40):

Luke 21:2 - And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.

The word mites is actually the Greek word LEPTA. It is equivalent to either 1/5 or 1/8 of one cent. It is not worth very much. It is the least value of the copper coins in their day, and she cast in two of these. Mark tells us that when the rich men gave their money, they gave out of their wealth. They gave abundantly.

Luke 21:4 - For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.

Penury actually comes from a Greek word that means lacking. This is another place where the translators could have given us a better English word.

Luke 21:8 - And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived:

The word deceived is where we get our word planet from, PLANAE means led astray, for many shall come in my name, saying, I AM, and notice in the text it says I am Christ. Some English texts say I am He, but all it says is "I AM" in the Greek text.

That is the name of God from the book of Exodus, I AM that I AM, the Yahweh God of the Old Testament. He says people are going to be going around saying I AM; and the time is drawing near: Jesus says go ye not therefore after them.

Luke 21:9 - But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.

The Greek word for by-and-by is the word immediate. The end is not immediate, not even close. Got a long way to go! So even the events that are happening now with the increase in earthquakes, and in the increase in pestilences and diseases, this is just the beginning. This gives us an indication that we are moving closer, but the end it is not yet.

    Luke (Part 39):

Luke 19:48 - And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.

In the Greek it literally means they were hanging on every word that Jesus spoke. So of course, the religious leaders, they were trying to destroy Him. Yet all the people are just hanging on to every word that Jesus says. So, they were not able to take Him at this point.

Luke 20:9 - Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time.

Husbandman means farmer. It was customary in those times that if you were going to leave your property, your agricultural property, that you would lease it out to other people. And the price for the land would be a percentage of the crops that the land would produce.

Luke 20:24 - Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar's.

Show me a denarius, and remember that a denarius is one day's wage. Whose image and superscription has it? They answered and said, Caesar's. This is like taking one of our coins out. And He says whose inscription, whose superscription, whose picture is that on the coin? And they said it is Caesar's.

The word image in this text is the same one used in the Septuagint, the Old Testament. In Genesis 1:26-27, it says that man was made in the image of God. So, Jesus has this coin held up and He says whose image is on it? Caesar's!

    Luke 20:46 - Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;

Beware of the scribes. You would think that just on the surface that He is saying be careful about them. But literally the Greek word says observe yourselves from the scribes.

Make sure you don't get caught up in what they're getting caught up into. Don't watch out for them, you watch out for yourself. And He's telling the disciples.

    Luke (Part 38):

Luke 19:20 - And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:

And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is your MNA, which I have been keeping. That is the literal translation. So, this whole time he has been keeping it in a napkin:

And I think it's interesting that amongst Jewish tradition, if you hid money in your house, you had to pay taxes on it. But if you hid money in a napkin or a cloth, and buried it in your yard, you didn't have to pay taxes. So, he says I've kept it in a napkin.

Luke 19:21 - For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow.

For I was fearing you, continuously, because you are an austere man: The Greek word means to be harsh or to be severe. You are a very harsh man, and you take up that you lay not down, and reap that which you do not sow.

Luke 19:42 - Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

Saying, If thou hadst known, even you, at least in this your day. The Greek text has the definite article. This "The Day" that belongs to you, the things which belong unto your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

It is the only place in the Gospels where the words of Jesus are recorded where He actually said the very day that He enters into Jerusalem is the day that they should have known about. It was their day in the entire calendar of prophetic literature. It was their day!

    Brother S Spencer,

I am sorry if we do not agree, and sorry for the delayed reply.

My understanding, we have two trees, and two Adams one tree associated with the first Adam and the other with the last Adam. Did God know what the first Adam would do? Yes. Does that mean Adam was not made perfect without sin? No. Everything before the first day of creation until the new earth and the new heaven was and is in God's plan. Can we comprehend that? No. Can we know how God will judge anyone before the law or all the people after the law but never heard the commands of God or of Him sending His Son to die for us? Revelation 20:11-15

Two men walked this earth that did not have an earthly father the first and the last Adam. The first was disobedient and the second was obedient unto death. Three people came into the world without a sinful nature Adam, Eve, and Jesus. There was no sin in the first Adam until he disobeyed God, the curse was not given to him or mankind before Adam disobeyed and sinned.

In Scripture, we are told Jesus was tempted the same as we are, Hebrews 4:15 "yet without sin".

Jesus had a will of His own Luke 22:42 Jesus was not just a man His Father was God, He could be tempted, and He was obedient to the Father. If Jesus was unable to disobey and unable to sin if He chose to, how can we say He was tempted and how could He fulfill and overcome the curse of death, and the law and He/Jesus the Son of God die for our sins? Would Satan accept anything other than a man fulfilling the law and taking away his power of death Hebrews 2:14?

    God bless,

In actuality, if you look at your Calendar, the seventh day is Saturday, so the Sabbath is Saturday.

Here's an Example of how the World Corrupts everything.

Jesus was said to be Crucified On 'Good Friday' and raised on 'Easter Sunday' but that would mean he would have been in the tomb for only TWO DAYS, and if he WERE in the tomb for three days after being crucified on Friday, he would be resurrected on a MONDAY.

    Here's The More Logical Analogy

    1. Jesus gets Crucified on Wednesday

    2. Jesus spends three days in the tomb (Thursday-Saturday)

    3. Jesus is raised on the Sabbath/Easter (Saturday)

Re.22:2 The Throne of God and of the Lamb

"And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb."

The throne is set altogether differently than what we see in Ch.4. There is nothing remotely associated with a river and besides St John mentions only a throne not of the Lamb. "And, behold, a door was opened in heaven," and John sees only a single throne," And, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne." (vv.1-2). A voice is about to reveal hereafter and not what we read in Ge.1:1 "In the beginning,". The Spirit is specific, "and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter". In the beginning was the Word as the Gospel of John opens, and it is the book with seven seals. Breaking opening the seven seals refer to the will of God. What is His will? " So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." The Spirit gives it a visual imagery so the the first voice compels the Apostle to watch where Isaiah 55:11 shall lead to it.

The throne in heaven where God separates the waters with a firmament is the beginning of the river of time. This unseen source is framed by the word of God and the waters flowing leads us to the throne of heaven and of the Lamb. So the waters below signifies the world made to appear. (He.11:3) Consequently the earth that abides forever. (Ge.1:6-8;Ec.1:4)

The Throne of God and of the Lamb is set on the mid-air or the face of heaven. "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork."(Ps.19:1) The circle that is referred in v.4 is significant. Tabernacle for the sun is what the light of the Lamb becomes so there is no more sun or moon required."And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof." (Re.21:23)

    Hello S. Spencer,

Because Genesis said that God saw all that He had made and said it was good, the fall of Satan happened between that statement and when he tempted Eve into sin, in my opinion, unless God was talking about what He had created on the earth, exempting the angels, who sang with joy when the physical universe was made in Genesis 1:1. If the latter, then Satan could have fallen prior to the creation of the earth.

Scripture does not give specific details on when this occurred or whether the "Eden of God" was a heavenly abode which the earthly Eden represents the heavenly Eden.

This question is perplexing, and Christians have written and discussed this for many millenniums

    Re.4:1 "rainbow" (2 of 2)

"and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald." The rainbow about the throne is set in relation to an emerald. We see in the visions of Isaiah and Ezekiel respectively the same arrangement. "as the appearance of a sapphire stone:"(Ez.1:26) Compare the continuity provided by the seraphim common in both visions."Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly."(Is.6:2). Ezekiel also gives us the same, "And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone" (Ez.1:28)In addition sapphire we have two other stones mentioned there, namely jasper and sardine. Reminiscent of the vision of John the same bow is mentioned in v.28"As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.

Jasper sardine and Sapphire, three stones to define trinitarian aspects of God! The rainbow round about the throne encompass within its glory, as Ezekiel would explain it, we have four and twenty elders, four beasts and at the centre the Lamb slain.(Re.5:6) All these constitute as the body where the Word or the Gospel is common. Only the Lamb has prevailed and is worthy to open the seals. " And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon."

Gospel covers heaven the earth and under the earth. 8x3 =24. It is thus we have the number of 24 as representing us in heaven. It is a memorial. The creation signified as four beasts typify Unity of the Spirit. He.2:11

Seven eyes and seven horns complete the body spirit and the soul aspect of the heavenly body, "we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens." This also has bearing upon life,"but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life"

    Re.5:1 "The right hand" (1 of 2)

"And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals."

Three things are associated with the Son who is always tagged as the right hand in context of God who is One. The hand with which is good and the left hand in common usage is qualified as maladroit. Can we apply it to God? Oh no. The Spirit uses the right hand figuratively in order to define the divine Will in fulfilment. "And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God." ( Mark 10:18).So we need see his ministry as deity and humanity is the aspect of perfecting what his Father has willed. "And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him."( John 8:29) Before Pilate he confesses the host of angels at his disposal."Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?" In his emptying his humanity was for delivering all whom his Father had left to his charge. So he would rather perfect with one sacrifice all those who were called.( John 17:12; He.10:14)

The book, the seven seals and the contents that it holds are three clues in which significance of their Association and with man, and also life as holiness, the name are inextricably bound.

"When he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high." Jesus Christ as the Son has his seat. "and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne." There are other feature we need consider, firstly "a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald."and the Word both sound as well as sign, "And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God."(Re.4:1-5) Body Spirit and the soul is signified in v.5:6

    Re.5:2 "Strong angel"

"And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?"

We see the same angel in Ch.10:1 "And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:" All the clues are here. In the inaugural vision of St John we see these features,in vv.15-16, " And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace," " and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength".The same bow in heaven is over his head. So when God tells Noah, "And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you."(Ge.9:15) he is referring indeed the everlasting covenant and Jesus Christ is 'after our likeness' in Ge.1:28. This rainbow zeroes in on the identity of the mighty or strong angel as the Word. The Word was with God and he gives furthermore as the identity of the rider on the white horse, whose bow is referring to the sign in heaven given to Noah. "And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer."(Re.6:2) Without quiver of arrows there is no mistake about him, - he is the Word become flesh and he also claims his purpose."Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division." ( Luke 12:51;Matt.10:34). St Matthew refers to the sword, which is the mark of his office. He is setting out to conquer and conquering. So the colour white establishes his identity as the Word of God. We shall meet him again in Re.19:16.

There isa gap between the two which explains his deity while the Synoptic gospels is about his humanity. There is no 'gap theory', the Spirit provides only what is needful for instruction in righteousness. Without faith it would be useless to fill in irrelevant details in order to satisfy some curious souls.

    Luke 2:8-14 "This Day"

"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord".

Here we have heaven witnessing to the shepherds in the field and they are given a sign to round off his service. As with the angel giving John the revelation of Jesus Christ which are several signs all relating to the deity of Jesus Christ. He is Alpha and Omega and he is the Word of God and several other attributes, all of which are under the tag, "This day". The angels in heaven take joy over one sinner coming to salvation. So what does connect man and angels or with heaven? It is the word of God. Our worlds what is made to appear and what is unseen have only one sigle measure which is the fulness of Christ. (Re.21:17). "And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger."

Naturally the shepherds were sore afraid, "And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people." This joy which is 'to all people' can have only one meaning: Jesus Christ is the saviour of the whole world.

In the Book of the Revelation the angel that served as his guide reveal himself "for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book"(Re.22:9) What is common between man and angel is the word. Faith is in their worship whether one or multitudes of them as in v.13 "And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God." So the fellow servant ends his saying "Worship God."

St Paul warns of angels which are inimical to salvation so war in heaven is waged between fallen angels and of light. "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."(Gal.1:8). If we keep the word we abide in Christ we cannot be stranger to angels. We are a single measurement in the kingdom.
