    Dan.7:17 "Four beasts" (1 of 2)

"These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth."

"Arise out of the earth" is set down by the Spirit as quite distinct from the seas. "And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good."(Ge.1:10) God affixed his name, consequently it is good. This naming sanctifies the creation. Holy is his name. In Re.12 we read the term 'inhabiters of the sea'.

The sea is meant for marine life which is good. This sea we are considering is tainted by unclean spiritual elements: inhabiters of the sea has become corrupted as the old world became corrupted. "Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time."(Re.12:12) We have from the quote,"But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt." Since the covering cherub was found with iniquity he was cast down and it is what the vision of John alluded to. "woe to the king of Tyrus we covered in Ez.28. In the night vision of Daniel (7:2) the four wind's striving upon the great sea refers to the specific event. For this reason the Spirit sets the beast in Re.13:1, "and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy." He is a demagogue, arising out of a wicked milieu. In short we are setting two worlds, parallel worlds. The Spirit introduced the Ancient of days in vv.9-10 in order to lead us to the latter days." I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;/Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom."(vv.21-22)

The sea represents the ungodly nations, arising out of the earth. Outer darkness it is called.

I ask for prayers for my family, children & fianc. That we may get through this difficult time in our lives and we can all be reunited again. There is unjust accusations that are keeping my family apart & I can only put my faith in God that he will restore our happiness and peace. Our family had just began to reach back to our faith and go to church when all this chaos happened and now it is hindering my faith at times due to so much pain and heartache. I remind myself that only God knows why we have these obstacles to face but I ask whoever can read this to please pray pray and pray for my family and for everything to work out in our favor. I am reminded daily that God is bigger than any of my fears and doubt and I am still trying to work through this situation.

Hello Tdianne. Just to give you two further portions of Scripture to add to brother S. Spencer's reply, please look at Luke 23:42,43 and Luke 16:19-31. The first speaks about the criminal hanging next to Jesus on the Cross, who turned to Jesus for salvation. And Jesus' Word of assurance to him was that upon his death he would join Jesus in Heaven. The criminal's body would lie in a grave or be burned, but his spirit would return to God & an eternity in Heaven because of his faith.

And in Luke 16, Jesus gives a real account of what takes place in the after life, prior to His death on the Cross to pay for our sins. Both the rich man & the beggar Lazarus had died and both ended up in Hell, one in a place of eternal suffering & the other in a place of comfort & rest. Both were very much conscious of their surroundings, their pain & the reason for being where they were sent; with the plea by the rich man to have his five brothers alerted to this awful destiny, that they might repent before it was too late.

So both these accounts, even by the witness of Jesus Himself, shows us that our bodies might lie in the grave, or even not exist over the passage of time, but the real you (your spirit) which was once clothed in an ageing deteriorating body, moves instantly to a destiny appointed by God. If one is 'absent in the body' (i.e. our spirit has left they body), then that spirit, if saved through Jesus' shed Blood, goes immediately into the Lord's Presence. And that is why the Apostle Paul was assured in his spirit that the transition from death to his presence with the Lord was instantaneous ( 2 Corinthians 5:6-8). And he also told the Philippian believers ( Philippians 1:21-24) that he longed to be with Christ, but his work on Earth had not finished & also his care of the Church. But he was ready to go at any time the Lord called him, so even persecution & resulting death would mean an early entrance into Heaven. A great joy for him - and should be for us who believe.

    Hi Tdianne.

    The spirit never dies.

    Ecclesiastes 12:7reads

"Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

The body goes into the grave waiting to be ressurected.

If you are a Christian it goes the way Paul put it in 2 Corinthians 5:6-8 "Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, WHILST WE ARE AT HOME IN THE BODY, WE ARE ABSENT FROM THE LORD:

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Notice there is no mention of grave here!

    God bless.

You will need to read the whole Bible for yourself so that your knowledge and understanding is based upon what you have learned for yourself . That's the only way to ' know ' the answer to this and all other questions pertaining to God and to Jesus and our relationship with Them .

There are very many scriptures throughout the old and new testaments that will answer this question for you . I personally feel that 1st Thessalonians , chapter 4 , verses 16 and 17 are extremely clear on this subject .

As far as my studies and understanding go , we Christians will sleep in the ground after death and only be resurrected to be with Christ , when he returns to earth . This of course will seem like no time at all to us as we will be unaware of anything in between the moment of our physical death , unto the moment when we are resurrected , it will seem to us to be a matter of seconds , though in fact it could be very many years in between the two events .

    Hi Tdianne,

There are different understandings of this and the difference is based on whether one believes souls are immortal. My understanding is the immortal soul belief came from Greek philosophy, Platonism. This was blended into the Church along with the definition of death meaning separation, the separation of the soul from the body.

My understanding from scripture every part of us is mortal and when we die, we sleep in the dust/grave Job 14:12-14, Job 17:13-16.

When is a corn plant absent from its seed, it is when it springs forth from its grave of the earth. 1 Corinthians 15:42-44 We are sown, we sleep in the grave, Daniel 12:2 Acts 13:36 and until resurrection which there are two, Revelation 20:4-10 and Revelation 20:11-15.

We are sown in corruption it is raised in incorruption, 1 Corinthians 15:51-58 We as mortal beings do not put on immortality until we are resurrected being freed from this body of corruption into a glorified body, then we will be present with the Lord, 1 Thessalonians 2:19.

May others give their understanding for you to study for yours.

    God bless,

    RLW

    John 9:6 "Spittle"

God sent his Son as the true Light to the world and the Word had set his ministry according as the scripture may be fulfilled. "Recovering of sight to the blind" ( Luke 4:18) was one among them. Before him stood the blind. "When Jesus had said this, He spit on the ground, made some mud, and applied it to the man's eyes." (John9:6) Like chaff what is dust? Insignificant is it not? But Jesus told his disciples,"And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet."(Matt.10:16). Whosoever and the dust of the house or the city and intrinsically bound. In geology dust is the result of the weathering process, but no matter, it represent the ungodly society of men. Similarly what is a shoe lace? Abraham would not even receive a shoe latchet,"And that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich." Wealth of the king of Sodom was of Satan who in according him pomp and privileges, made him a servant to sin. Abraham in trusting God for his blessings placed himself under the Law of the Spirit. The same Law governing the everlasting covenant made him observe a life of separation. The disciples were to shake off the dust of their feet for a witness.

Jesus spat on the ground, a sign even as his blood is, that his life was on the line. Death and resurrection would come later. By the same token we have the miry clay mentioned in the king's dream. "And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay."(Dan.2:43) Iron is the brute force, a quality of the beast and other sons of perdition..("But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces,". Imposter churches are covenant breakers to compromise with Satan. They are servants to sin for praise of men. They shall be smashed and thrown to winds as was in the king's dream.

    Amos 9:8-9 "The chaff"

For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.(v.9)

Meaning of this verse is simple: the house of Israel is like as corn is sifted. Similar as God, touching his vineyard,- he looked that it should bring forth grapes, but it brought forth wild grapes. He asks,"What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it?"(Is.5:1-4)Corn is blighted and mildewed since among all nations where they went they were corrupted all the more. Sifting for corn is a vain exercise. Not a corn shall be found. They have become like chaff, mentioned in the Book of Daniel,"and became like the chaff of the summer threshing-floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them."(Dan.2:35)

V.8 however hints of a remnant, " Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the Lord." They were among those called predestined, justified and glorified. Why? God or rather the Law of the Spirit saw them as such. Before the Law the word has set space and time as zero. It explains Jesus Christ the same, yesterday, today and forever" (He.13:8) If God is for them they are called for Zion, above and not for the earth.

In v.11 we read of it, "In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old" Notice the expression 'in that day' and it refers to heavenly Jerusalem, New Jerusalem to be precise. "In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old." Joel also refers 3:17 "So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain."

    Amos 9:1 "Smite the lintel"

"I saw the Lord standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake."

This vision presented to Amos has beam (lintel) and the posts serve as pillar. The idea is the weight of the masonry coming above the door is distributed evenly across the lintel to both sides of walls whether it is of stone masonry or of timber. If lintel represent the heaven the threshold connecting the posts at the doorway denotes the earth. In He.12 we have such a shaking,"Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven."(12:26).

Smiting of the lintel of the temple of God is intended to shake the wicked out of the hallowed precincts of the temple, from his presence. "The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it." (Ps.75:3) The Spirit presents the heaven and the earth in such a manner heaven is spread across like carpet so the wicked can be shaken out it as one does with carpets in the spring to be rid of the accumulated dust.It is in this sense God tells Job in the quote. ( Job 38:13)

The Spirit has set the principle while organising the visions, where people places and events are described they shall consist of Jesus Christ since the Bible is the God document, "all things were created by him, and for him:/And he is before all things, and by him all things consist." The reason is simple:"For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell."(Col.1:19,15-16) Significance of "I am the door" is as relevant as this quote,"Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered."(Ze.13:7) Smite the lintel means 'smite the shepherd'. God shall take care of a remnant, "the little ones" but the sheep shall be scattered. This shall explain the diaspora of Israel as well as the great tribulation. The narrative mode is Min-Max so specific event overarches to latter days.

    Ps.104:2-5 "Heaven and the earth"

God is a Spirit who has a visible image:Jesus Christ.(Col.1:15). It is thus we designate the unseen aspect of His will as heaven and the seen aspects of it as the earth. The Psalmist praises this slow maturation of His will as His works. His creation, can follow so the moon is a cue for the beasts of prey 'creep forth' for their feed while man stops with his labor."Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth."(vv.20-23).When St Paul refers to his works as well as riches as spiritual blessings, (" O Lord, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches"-v.24) So the earth is a blessing we have received in Jesus Christ.(Ep.1:3) Now what are the works of God but to make their glory in terms of his Son? He is the "Brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power." The word is the Law of the Spirit.

The Ancient of days is a visual representation of the Law so seven days establishes faith holding the seen unseen worlds as one."Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."(He.11:3). The everlasting covenant accordingly gives us the first day in which creating of heaven divides light from darkness which the Psalmist compares to a garment, 'robes of righteousness' and he "who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain" sets out foundations so His creation shall understand when He creates man 'after our image and after our likeness'. "And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament' Ge.1:7 explains the seven pillars or beams, "Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters". Heaven is stretched Up and down as storied ( Amos 9:6) or across. For as many pillars there are "foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever."(v.5)

There is someone that I've been interested in, but I know that I'm being led to let this person go, and there's multiple reasons to support this. It's still been challenging for me. Would you pray I'm strengthened in seeking the Lord (I have peace about this when I turn to Him instead) and dealing with areas I've been avoiding? I think I'm wanting a relationship partially to avoid facing challenging areas in life, but I want to lean on Him and move forward. Would appreciate prayer.

    For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

SALVATION IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO DO, "SAVED--HEAVENBOUND" LOST--"HELLBOUND FOR ALL ETERNITY".

GOD WOULD RATHER SAVE A SOUL FOR HEAVEN. THEN SEND A LOST SOUL TO HELL.

"GOD" LOVES US SO MUCH THAT "HE" SENT HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON "JESUS" TO TAKE AWAY SIN THROUGH HIS RIGHTEOUS

BLOOD THAT COVERS A MULTILUDE OF SINS....

    COME LORD JESUS

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
