Brother in the highest respect I know we disagree on this you understand that the Son of God is a title. You said about huios; quote "doesn't have anything to do with somebody who is born from a woman. This is somebody who's been placed in a position of inheritance." end quote. To me that would be saying Jesus was figuratively the son of God.
The two Greek words you use huios and teknon. Huios means properly, a son by birth or adoption; Jesus was Son by birth and we as believers become figuratively a son/huios of God being adopted and heirs of the promise through the only begotten Son of God Jesus, 1 John 3:2Romans 8:23.
Jesus was born of Mary by the Spirit of God and as Jesus grew, he knew who He was as he said in Luke 2:49 I must be about my Father's business.
We see in Luke 15:24 the prodigal son, his father told the servants his son/huios had returned, a son who was born of him and a mother. In this parable told by Jesus, the man called his other son/teknon who was born of the same father and mother. The word teknon means a child, a son, or a daughter.
In John 19:7 this is what the Jews said, they said he made himself the Son of God by saying Jesus just claimed to be the Son of God but was not, they rejected Jesus and did not believe Jesus was truly the Son of God, the Messiah, even after He was resurrected. I feel if we say Son of God is His title we also are saying Jesus is not the only begotten Son of God conceived in Mary by the Spirit of God.
1 John 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. In my understanding of this verse, if we do not acknowledge that Jesus was and is the Son of God conceived in Mary, born of the tribe of Judah a descendant of David, we denieth the Son. We must believe and confess that Jesus is the Son of God, we must believe on the name of the Son of God.
Terry, I am sorry I am just now reading these prayer requests. How are you? If there was any damage to your property or the neighborhood I pray it will be quickly restored. God bless you.
Prayer for a Bless day today, I have been going through a lot of spiritual warfare and would like prayer that it ends today and that I will meet my future spouse today and I will have everything I need to get her number and be able to date her without any hindrances in Lord Jesus Christ Name, amen.
I will be praying for you and your area that will be impacted by this hurricane. May God be merciful to the people living in these states. May He provide help to those who are in danger and protection to those who are His.
Q: Jotham's fable on close reading it is more a fable for our times. Is it not?"
A.
Yes indeed. God called man to blessed in his Son. Jesus Christ,"And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father." So the confederacy of trees was against the will of God. "The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed." explains the word of God.(Ps.2:2)
Each tree has volume. The fable begins with the olive tree. The trees went forth on a time to anoint a king over them; and they said unto the olive tree, Reign thou over us." What does the tree answer? "Should I leave my fatness, wherewith by me they honour God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?"(Ju.9:9) The fig tree and several others have similar graces and are blessed by God. So they refused to promote themselves over a doctrine against the Lord and his anointed. Then it is the turn of the bramble," And the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth ye anoint me king over you, then come and put your trust in my shadow." (Ju.9:15) This is how imposter churches have played into the doctrine of nationalism. What good can out os a man whose volume is nothing but nettles and brambles? The word 'shadow' is to be spiritually discerned."He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."(Ps.91:1) Instead the shadow of the brambles we see in the very many heresies present day churches have espoused. What does St Paul say? "And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming."(2 The.2:8) Mystery of iniquity was in the vision of the woman in Re.17. Mystery Babylon, is the alliance of state and religion. The church does not represent "kings and priests unto God and his Father"(Re.1:6) Fire shall proceed from God as in the case of Elijah and devour them. (1 Pe.4:17)
Q: The visions of John mentioned in chapters one and twelve carry seven and 12 stars and what do they signify?
A: Firstly the seven refers to the law of the Spirit as perfected between God the Father and the Son and it is after our image, Whereas the Law of Spirit in terms of the life of men 'after our likeness'. Two laws one for the Son and another for the servant and it is how Christ as the son over his house "And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant" are delineated as dispenser of the Law of the Spirit and Law of Sin are presented. One has an emblem, Zion and Jerusalem above. Mount Agar speaks for the people under the law of sin. In the vision of the Woman clothed with the Sun we have Eve as the Mother of all living. The number 12 indicates however she is created after the likeness of man ("male and female created he them"-Ge.1:27) Adam as the son of God is created "after our image." This is attested by the seven stars in his right hand.(Re.1:20)
This distinction is well demonstrated by the miracle of multiplying loaves. Out of seven loaves what were leftover were seven baskets full. " and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full./And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children." (Matt.15:37-38). This was a testimony of the Son to his Father. He fed the Four Thousand according to the word because command number Four signifies the word of God.4x1000. In the other instance five loaves. "And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full./And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.(Matt.14:20-21). Jesus as the Word become flesh identifies his live in preaching the gospel of his Father. It is his testimony.
Q:God's charge on Moses "Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it" perhaps points to the heavenly Jerusalem above and mount Agar as two emblems for the Law of the Spirit and Law of sin?
A: Yes indeed. God gives the Law whereby a nation may redeem themselves by obedience. Instead it judges them. These laws are figuratively set as two mounts . Both together serve as millstone. The Law therefore sets the law. "No man shall take the nether or the upper millstone to pledge: for he taketh a man's life to pledge."(De.24:6). How does God judge Babylon? "And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all."(Re.18:21)
The Spirit gives us a similar action in the manner Abimelech was judged."And a certain woman cast a piece of a millstone upon Abimelech's head, and all to brake his skull."(Ju.9:23).The Spirit uses them as warning. "Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come."(1 Co.10:11-12)
Finally coming back to the sword of the Spirit discussed earlier, "And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming." (2 The.2:8) we have an instance from the life of Elijah," Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the Lord God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again./ Then the fire of the Lord fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench./ And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The Lord, he is the God; the Lord, he is the God."(1 Ki.18:37-39)
Q:Peter refers to judgment that must begin at the house of God. Perhaps it ought to explain the mystery of iniquity associated with the covering cherub?"
A: Judgment must begin with the Law of the Spirit. for it is he who judged the cherub, and said,"Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee." (Ez.28:15). St Paul's quote, "For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law" points to law of sin was limited to the heavenly places and not on the earth made to appear by the word. It is to this the vision of Daniel (Dan.7:10,13;Ro.5:13) alludes and thereafter we have this verse "and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, " And judgment was set, the books were opened." deals with the mystery of iniquity in heaven. "Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?"(Is.66:1). It is implied that the mystery of iniquity was found in the house of God and God would want to know with the house made with hands. King Solomon at the dedication of the temple refers to it," But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?"(1 Ki.8:27).
We see law of sin demonstrated at Mount Sinai over the golden calf. "And the Lord plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made." Law of Moses was yet to be dispensed. Yet The Law of the Spirit would quell the riot.
Mystery of iniquity was in the disbelief. "the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him." So Aaron somewhat like a papal bull made a doctrine. "and said, To morrow is a feast to the Lord."(Ex.32:5),
Many, many Scriptures repeat again and again that there is no salvation through human goodness.
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost."- Titus 3:5.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."- Eph. 2:8,9.
"Without shedding of blood is no remission."- Hebrews 9:22.
"For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly."- Romans 5:6.
"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all."- Isa. 53:6.
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot."- I Peter 1:18,19.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."- Rom. 6:23.
Dear sinner, remember that church membership will not save you. If you have been baptized, that cannot save you. Baptism does not save, does not keep anybody saved. It is only an act of duty for those who have already found Christ as their Saviour.
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?"- Romans 10:13,14.
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
God made man for a purpose. That purpose was that He might have a race peculiarly made for His praise and glory and honor and that that race might seek to do only His will. Man chose not to fulfill that purpose when he believed the evil one, and he fell from his lofty estate of Edenic bliss and fellowship with God. Now man has fallen, but God still wants to salvage him. Basically, that is what salvation is...salvation is a salvaging. Now this salvaging is twofold. When a person is born again, his spirit is salvaged. 'Mere is more, however, to salvation (salvaging) than being born again. God also wants to salvage our lives. Ephesians 2: 10, "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
By Jack Hyles
"What must I do to be saved?" "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved"! There is God's plan of salvation, the only plan He has for every man, woman and child who was ever born into the whole world.
Believe On The Lord Jesus Christ
Here is God's simple way to be saved. You are a sinner, your heart is wrong, you cannot save yourself, you are already condemned. The thing you are to do then, to be saved, is to simply trust the Lord Jesus with that matter. When you do trust Him, then you have God's promise, "Thou shalt be saved."
I do not mean that you are simply to believe that there is a God or that there is a Saviour. Devils believe that and tremble ( James 2:19).
You can believe that a certain physician is a good doctor [without calling him to be your doctor] when you are sick. You can believe that a certain man is a good lawyer without taking him as your lawyer to defend your case. You are not just to believe the truth about Jesus; you are to believe on Him, that is, depend upon Him, risk Him, trust Him; and when you do, you are saved.
Thanks brother Jesse for these very helpful notes to better understand the KJB as taken from the Greek. As to your point on the 39 lashes punishment, I believe this is taken from Deuteronomy 25:1-3, where 40 lashes were prescribed, but to avoid going over that number, whether through a miscount or by breaking the Law, 39 lashes were given. This number wouldn't apply to the Roman form of scourging I'm sure, or was Pilate under some control by the Jewish leaders concerning this type of punishment ("Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me" John 18:35)? Blessings.
Hi Jackieboy80. I understand what you're writing, as I have heard of an instance (whether actual or not), of a missionary who could only speak in his language (not having grasped his target group's language), but when he spoke, the group heard his words in their own language. So, I can see how this could happen by the Holy Spirit's Power. Yet, when I read Acts 2:4, "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance", the picture presented to us is that of the disciples gathered together alone on the day of Pentecost at which time the Holy Spirit was poured out upon them. And this first evidence of the Spirit's Presence in them was that they actually spoke in other languages; languages that they did not know, for had they learned them, then nothing miraculous could be said to have taken place. Now if they all spoke in Hebrew, Greek or some dialect, it could not be said that they "began to speak with other tongues", for the new unlearned language had to be spoken for this verse to have a natural meaning.
And while they were still in this intense spiritual state, maybe for several hours, this amazing phenomenon was noised abroad in Jerusalem & those people who came to see & hear these men, were astounded that they could hear their own language spoken. I don't believe this was a case as I related the story above (though this could happen of course), but one where even the disciples would have been wondering about, yet being confirmed that this could only be an Act of God in them now & Who would be with them in their ministry to others.
Prayer for my son. He has important tests on Mon (Sept 30). Dr wants to find out if my son needs to have his artificial valve in his heart has to be replaced. The one he has now, was put in 12 years ago.
Prayer for strong protection and for the Lord to fight our battles and free us from bondage, oppression and dysfunction and to save unsaved loved ones. To help us live in a manner pleasing to Him. Praying this for us and all in need.
I missed this aspect from what I intended to say in the post titled Day of Christ. In conjunction with the mystery of iniquity we have the assurance that God has redeemed a body even as the seven thousand which have not bowed their knees to Baal. "I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace."(Ro.11:4-6). Call it Rapture or first fruits. It is to them this line refers,"For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way." The seven eyes sent to the earth (Re.5:6) stand as the emblem of grace associated with Jesus Christ. Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. What is left for the left out church? "Because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved./ And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:/That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." When the Evangelical Right follow Trump as their champion it is a sure sign that the mystery of iniquity is already at work.
Q: Day of Christ is set in context of the conflict and the outcome is determined. In what way does it relate the Lamb in the vision of John and the breaking of seven seals?
A:The Lamb slain signified what was determined according to the word of God. Each seal releases events in heaven and on earth while Jesus Christ in the inaugural vision presents himself as the Law of the Spirit and seven messages encapsulate the falling off among the body of Christ so heresies mentioned there are part of the delusion the churches have to face. The church of Ephesus having fallen from their first love has to contend with "the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate." Similarly with Smyrna, How true are the so called believers? What shall he say of mega churches, "And I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan." or of prosperity theology,"because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam,"(2:9,14). What is the mystery of iniquity? It just means that it is an inside job, "seat of satan" to which Jesus warned,"The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep." Jesus as the good shepherd gave his life for his sheep.( John 10:13)
2 Th.2:7-8 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way./And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth." The spirit of his mouth is the sword. "And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations." (Re.19:15). The Ancient of days in the vision of Daniel leads us to Christ in the midst of the seven churches. He shall lead his saints, "And the armies which were in heaven"-'the clouds of heaven'.(19:14) It is the brightness of his coming and it is in mid-air. It is his spirit to which we read,"and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth."
John 19:6 - When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.
The word "him" is not in their chant. They are just going, crucify, crucify, crucify, crucify, over and over again and people are being worked up into a frenzy.
John 19:7 - The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.
Here's what it says in the Greek. It says, Son of God, not "the" Son of God, but just Son of God. That is a title. And to the Jews, it means God in the flesh. The word Son, HUIOUS, doesn't have anything to do with somebody who is born from a woman. This is somebody who's been placed in a position of inheritance.
He's the one that inherits all things from God. The word TEKNON, for a child who has been born, is never used of Jesus Christ. That is why when people say "Well if He is the Son of God, how can He be God? He's not a Son by birth. He is a Son in the Jewish social frame of mind of the receiver of the inheritance. The Jews knew what that meant. So, they came and said here's His title. He says He's Son of God.
John 20:1 - The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
It says, "the first day of the week," but I would like to share some technical things as to how this language works.
In the Greek text, it literally says, "the first of the Sabbath's," plural! In the scriptures, the Sabbath Day is singular and the weekdays are plural. So, you have the Sabbath Day, and then you have the Sabbath Days, which are used to denote the weekdays.
This is the first day of the week, Sunday. This Sunday is the first Sunday after Passover, which means the Sabbath of Passover has passed. The Sabbath of Saturday, the normal Sabbath, has passed. And now we are into Sunday.
John 18:23 - Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me?
If I have spoken evil, (literally inappropriately), bear witness of the evil: but if I have spoken well, (that is, according the lines of the law), why do you smite me?
John 18:35 - Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done?
Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Here, the Greek text expects the answer no. "I am not a Jew, am I?"
John 18:36 - Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
Literally, it is in the Imperfect Tense with a Subjunctive Particle that means, "Up until now, my servants would have been fighting if my kingdom is from out of the earth as a source, so that I would not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from here."
John 19:1 - Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him.
So, Pilate takes Jesus, and scourged (MASTIGOO) him, the MASTIKS. The whipping of Jews and the whipping of the Romans are two different kinds. The Jews had ropes with pieces of metal and glass and bone all wrapped up in these strips and they will take someone and tie them up and just take the whip and beat them. But they will only beat them 39 times. Why 39, I'm not sure?
Most people never made it through the whipping before they died. And if they didn't die, they were taken to the cross with all of their insides showing.
It was a terrible thing to go through. The Roman way was even worse. They didn't just use ropes, but they used a solid rod like a fishing rod to make the whipping have more leverage. They too had the cat-o-nine tails, the glass and the lead, and the rocks. And they would beat you for as long as they wanted to. That's what they did to Jesus. They beat Him.
John 18:3 - Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.
The word band actually means a cohort of soldiers, which was a group of some 600 soldiers. It's a SPERA in Greek. So, Judas had 600 soldiers with him, and officers. These would be the temple police. So not only does he have an army contingent, but he also has the temple police. Some of the historians say that there were at least 1,000 people that came out to take Jesus. They came from the chief priests and Pharisees. They came there with lanterns and torches and weapons. The word weapons means clubs.
John 18:5 - They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.
They answered and said to Him, Jesus of Nazareth, or more literally, the Greek text says Jesus the Nazarene.
Jesus said unto them, and please follow closely because the Greek text is different than any of the English translations (including the King James). Jesus said unto them I AM.
He didn't say "he". Jesus asks, "Who are you looking for?" They respond, "Jesus the Nazarene." He says, I AM, (EGO EMI). That is the name of God in the Old Testament. Our English text is a little weak here and somewhat diminishes who Christ is, God Himself!
John 18:8 - Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:
Jesus answered, I have told you that I AM (not I am he): if therefore you are seeking me, and in the Greek, this is called a first-class condition assumed to be true. He is saying since therefore you are seeking me, and check this out because this is a command in the Greek text: He says, "let these go their way:" He is not asking permission. It is a command, Imperative Mood!
Q: Before the man of sin be revealed there shall be falling away first, so says St Paul. How does it affect a believer abiding in Christ?
A: In no way it shall affect us. "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."( 1 John 4:4). The base line for new creation began in the day heavens and the earth were created. The fullness of God in Christ was part of the world made to appear by his word. So when we received his Son whom he had sent we are part of the work of God already. ( John 6:29).
This is however holds true in the divine Will of God. The seven days under which we have been created we have to confirm by faith. So in the world made to appear we have to fulfil the aspect of 'after our image and after our likeness' by our own free will. It is to this St Paul refers,"In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise." (Ep.1:13). Outpouring of the Spirit in Jerusalem was a sign for the world that with the coming of the Lord there shall be a gathering of those who have made a covenant with him by sacrifice. "Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. (Ps.50:5; 2 The.2:1)
In the epistle to the church of Thessalonians St Paul is addressing the church of God at large, that as he had feared shall fall away. So much so vv.3-4 have already occurred as many popes have claimed more glory than of God. St Paul is talking about the son of perdition, the beast "and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;/Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. "(2 The.2:3-4)
This message is to no one in particular , I would just like to give my understanding of speaking in tongues .
Acts chapter 2 verses 1 onwards to 13 thereabouts . It seems pretty clear in this account that no one was actually speaking a foreign language , verse 6 . Verses 8 and 9 10 and 11 , lists a lot of different people of different nationalities and languages who heard the Apostles as if they were speaking in their own languages ! So the Apostles were speaking in their own language but many people of different nationalities heard , that's the Word , heard , as if what was said was said in their own specific language .
Somewhere later on in Acts I think , it mentions again how people went to Christian meetings or maybe even Jewish synagogues , and heard in their own different languages , the Words of God spoken by the Apostles who were speaking in their own language .
What is this the forerunner of ? It seems to me that it is the forerunner of the Bible , printed in almost every language that exist on earth ! See the link ? Isn't it awesome ?
Everything here turned out great. God bless.
Huios means properly, a son by birth or adoption; Jesus was Son by birth and we as believers become figuratively a son/huios of God being adopted and heirs of the promise through the only begotten Son of God Jesus, 1 John 3:2 Romans 8:23.
In love, God bless,

"and said, To morrow is a feast to the Lord."(Ex.32:5),
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost."- Titus 3:5.
COME LORD JESUS

COME LORD JESUS
We'll talk to you later.
I'm preparing for Hurricane Helene here in Georgia.
God bless.
Sorry.
Where I said "you" It should have been "we" I meant in general.
However I was basing it off of your comment on the ability to no longer sin.
Momsage sin is there before the act is performed.
The nature exists because the flesh is still present.
We may resist the flesh but the nature is still present, and that is a sinful nature that we combat.
When we are made perfect that battle will cease.
Perhaps this is how I should have worded my previous response.
WE are given a covering, (Robe of righteousness) to cover the imperfection within US!
WE'RE not perfect and don't meet God's requirements without this covering witch is an atonement for our sins.
Just to think one is perfect in the flesh shows an sinful nature because it works against the work of the Holyspirit that convicts us.
1 John 1:8-9.
Blessings.
God bless.
Thank you,
Kathleen
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
GOD bless all the brethren on this platform. GOD to shine HIS wonderful face on all; and that we be gloriously blessed.

"(2 The.2:3-4)
Acts chapter 2 verses 1 onwards to 13 thereabouts .
