Comments by Alex about the trinity, Abraham issac and jacob were symbolic of the Godhead th trinity,Without this abrahamic trinity there wd have been no nation of Israel that became as the sands of the seas. God Almighty swore by himself when he said that Christ wd be multiplied as the stars of heaven Thats y the sower will go forth to sow his precious seed in humanity which is the very seed of God to whom the word came that good seed it made them Gods plural. That was the great PROMISE that christ wd be multiplied as the stars of heaven thus an Israel of God.Thats y jesus refers to the H.G. as the Promise he is the multiplication of God in humanity. The gift of God via that good seed the word, Just as there was a natural israel via the seed of Isaac there is gonna be an Israel of God via the seed of Christ, its God himself that wants a posterity thats y jesus is saying to whom the WORD came his seed it made them Gods plural th Gransons th Israel OF GOD, THEY DONT CALL HIM THE BRIDEGROOM FOR NOTHIN, HIS SEED IS GONA RESULT IN AN ISRAEL OF GOD,Thats y God told Moses that his name was abraham issac and jacob, that is my name forever and my memeorial to ALL GENERATIONS IMPLING AN ISRAEL OF GOD THAT IS GONNABE BORN IN US. Our new birth. But my point is Jesus cd not refer to the H.G as the Promise if he were not the very multiplcation of Christ/God th Gransons that are gonna be as the stars of heaven .They are gonna be born in us simply b/c that GOOD seed is sown in us sinners, THATS Y JESUS IS saying whosoever receiveth one such child in my name receiveth ME which is the H.G.IMMANUEL GOD with US. The trinity is very simply FATHER, SON AND GRANSON A 5 YR OLD can understand this. Even the Davidic kingdom was a Father Son and Granson relationship, God wd not let David the son build the temple, only Solomon the granson cd build the temple a metaphor that only the H.G. the granson can build the temple in our hearts a greater then Solomon in here ( that last day). The H.G..

The Godhead Scriptures
Acts 17
29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the GODHEAD is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

THE GODHEAD SCRIPTURES
Genesis 1:26, 3:22, 11:7
1 John 5:7.
John 10:30, I and My Father are one.
My favorite is Malachi 3:16-17. God listens when we talk together abut Him.
Also, in these following scriptures , we clearly see the Godhead ( Acts 17:27-30) speaking to each other.
NOTE: In the King James Bible, the words , TRINITY and TRIUNE,
ARE NOT used!!! Someone who was unable to teach LET US as a lesson, used these other words to describe, Three.
If you had used the Search Box provided on this website you would have seen it come up with NOTHING for triune and Trinity. No further comment is needed.

Acts 15:1- 7 Its by grace that we as gentiles were brought in.
1 And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
2 When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.
6 And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.
7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
1 John 2:22
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
1 John 4:3
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
2 John 1:7
For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a Deceiver and an antichrist.
Gabriel and Michael in the Book of Daniel - In Reply on Acts 15:20 - 4 years ago
Just reread, starting in chapter 9. It was Gabriel that touched Daniel. Michael had to come fight the demon Prince over that area, so Gabriel could get through.
Ephesians 6 describes princes and principalities over different areas.
I think that the Heavenly Being who touched Daniel is an Angel of GOD or maybe a special Being of the Creation(which is not mentioned exactly in the Bible) appointed by GOD because we can see that the word Man of GOD is written in the BIBLE 78 times. We do not know if GOD appointed a special person or persons to carry his messages other than the Angels. We can clearly see that after this incident(v 12),Michael(ANGEL OF GOD) came to Daniel. So we can make out that the person who touched Daniel was not Michael. So what we can guess is that the Heavenly Being who touched Daniel maybe be an Angel(other than Michael) or a Special Being who was created in the Creation but not mentioned in the Bible. We should just wait until the Second Coming of CHRIST to find out!!
Seeing a gigantic SUV with a fish symbol on the back bumper; going 80 mph in a 50mph speed zone, Race by me, UPSETS ME !! I pray for a cop to be at the next corner.
I'm not being in a mean spirit when I say, if we are born again, blood washed believers, we ought to represent Jesus as law abiding citizens too. If we're going to be law breakers, DO take off the crosses and fish magnets. Amen.
I don't believe it would be considered idolatry to have a cross hanging there or even in a house.
I think what's important is the reason for having it there. For some, it may be a visual reminder of the Saviour & the empty cross (as opposed to those who prefer a crucifix, showing the un-resurrected, un-ascended Saviour), or it may be just a sacred symbol to show others that the Cross is central to the occupants' lives, or maybe to afford protection to those in proximity to it. If it is a crucifix (where worship could be directed to it) or to assure safety from harm, then I believe that these reasons could be considered as hallmarks of idolatry.
Personally, I refrain from any symbol, image or anything else that attempts to describe the Deity. I think a meaningful Scripture as wall hanging would do more for me & those visiting my home. However, the decision is yours & you might get some input from others here. God bless.
There is a deeper spiritual meaning of things strangled, meaning beware of "practices" that are not truths. God's word is life and when we make light of God's word we are strangling the truth
Paul spoke as well not to tie us into their the Jewish rites we are not bound to them but to the Lord. God called them all to speak about Jesus and the price he paid for our sins to except His word and to be joined as one through Christ, not to man, He is the way the truth and the life. God Bless you all
to put a yoke upon our brethren that not even our fathers could bare, the laws of Moses time were good as Paul spoke in Romans, but not one could keep them only Christ, Jews were not to pit us against the Gospel of Jesus Christ, knowone is under the laws of Moses but under grace by faith through Jesus Christ, Gentiles were told not to do things that they did in their traditions of rites
Peter had the 'Keys to the Kingdom,' as God had chosen Peter to stand before all and give the plan of Salvation. His message, Acts 2:38-39. Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. If you aren't baptized in the name of Jesus and filled with the Holy Ghost you are not heaven ready.
Tyler replying to Bible Reader Kirk's comment on Acts 15 - 5 years ago
Let me politely ask you an even more powerful question. Which are you going to believe? Are you going to believe unholy and ungodly ghost stories or the Holy Word of God? God Bless! May God guide you, protect you, and watch over you on your search/journey for his truth.
Pray always for the Lord to know you, ask for the Holy Spirit to teach you the word, read the same chapter over and over and pray each time for the word to get into your soul, above all else pray that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven and to teach you. Don't let go of him hold fast to the hem of his garment through prayer and reading the bible.
God who knows the hearts has received us and purified our hearts by faith, giving us the Holy Ghost. "Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?" The Holy Spirit is given to them that obey Him: does this one sentence then mean that we are not obliged to keep the commandments of God? What is the context?
The early Apostles were devoted and committed and depended absolutely on the Holy Spirit for guidance. They resolved thorny matters including circumcision through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The lesson here is for us to look onto the Holy Spirit to guide our lives. Paul and Barnabas have now become separated to continue spreading the Gospel in different directions. Praise the Lord.
1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. In the Grace age we live in, Gentiles and Jews can be in the same body of Christ. Apostle Paul never was converting Gentiles in Jews, they were being saved by Grace, we are spiritual Jews inside.
Insight; may I ask, What Bible are you reading? Paul wasn't trying to turn Gentiles into Jews. When it talks about the controversy that arose over whether the Gentile Believers should be compelled to be circumcised and keep the law of Moses; it was from the Pharisees: Paul by that time was long time no longer doing that; and was only called upon to testify what he was preaching. Read Galatians!
What is the contention from Paul about Gentiles? Peter supported by Apostle James said Jesus taught converting Gentiles from the beginning. Paul wants to convert Gentiles to be Christians only if they are circumcised first to pledge obedience to Mosaic laws. Paul supports Abrahamic bloodline belief, that Christ is from David. The Apostles know that is not true. Jesus came to remove unjust laws.
Acts 15:24 "that certain which went out from us (meaning certain men that had fallen away from faith, and left, to teach on their own accord) have troubled you with words, subverting your souls with words, saying you must be circumcised,to whom we gave no such command."V.28"seemed good to the Holy spirit and us,to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things"; in v. 29.
unBiblical or worldy celebrations?
