In this world of PC and political shaming and relentless attacks of Christians while somehow being respectful of non-Christian religions, it's not easy to apply this verse. It takes faith.
Amen. whats born of flesh is flesh whats born of spirit is spirit. let no man decieve you take your crown.. in the last days they shall all be taught by god and i will raise them up at the last day.. jesus said i am the last day come to me who hunger and thirst and i will give you rest take on my burden for it is light jesus said i am the light of the world
We need to reassure our pastors that in spite of the unbelief exhibited by the church today that we also believe, teach and are teachers of the gospel. Like then the church today is trampling the word for the sake of the ungodly. How long will you halt between two? We are not to be ashamed for what we believe. Being a prisoner, held by the gospel of truth. Stir up our minds , to be instant in season, proclaiming the hope in the Lord Jesus.Walk in the spirit, let the gospel convince you. Hold on to that holy spirit ,you are a holy priesthood.Proclaim his holy name as the spirit gives thee utterance.
Nay. For the anointing of my Father makes me to rightly divide the word, of truth. It is written in the Holy Scriptures: Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
Good morning can we study together a bit this morning ? concerning your entry that sounds like a question to me .It sounds like you may be having a problem rightly dividing the scriptures the eight remaining were Moses and his family aren't those the eight you are referring to?
He was not ashamed of my chain. Though Paul was a prisoner his faithful friend came to see him and did not think less of him for the chain around his ankle. We can learn from this not to judge others for their position in life as after all Jesus was crucified between 2 other prisoners. Judge others for their faith and take stock of your own faith.

How are you, being many, Jesus? For the Scriptures say few, as in eight souls, are alive and remain. Can repentant men call on the Name of the Lord if many, of variable names and vain repetitions, are the Christ? My Holy Father says, For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ: and shall deceive many. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Very True Ann, we are indeed Jesus's Voice, Arms, Hands and Feet in this Hurting World. Love is an Action not just a word and God is Love and so His Words which are His Truth are very Powerful in breaking down Strongholds and Restoring His Love and Peace. God's Blessings dear Christian Sister - Anne.

See his envy O man? He is corrupt: so is his fruit. Being death he preaches death. He perishes as will his meat. That wicked, being willfully ignorant of the witnesses, confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh: whom I am witness. For my Holy Father will give thee the light of life. It is written, Whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Believe thou this? Repent: then believe.
Glory be to god, this is beautiful i love it , really enjoyable to read, and i do beleive god love for his people to come togather and discuss his living word, this is how we gain strength from one another.
Yes, God has given us all things. It is in our power through him to have faith and and love and resist temptation and follow the path of righteousness.
"..now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and HATH BROUGHT LIFE AND IMMORTALITY TO LIGHT THROUGH THE ANNOUNCED GLAD TIDINGS...whereunto I am appointed a preacher.." Immortality! Death Abolished! All the works of the devil and all the causes of sin in man undone taken away and healed! Let us have no place for all that diverts us from God's purpose.
Julie. Ask the Lord to baptize you with the Holy Spirit and to give you a prayer language. When He does use it daily. Paul said that when you pray in the Spirit, or in tongues, you spirit prays directly to God in mysteries that only God understands. It is the most effective way to pray because the Spirit knows what to pray for always. I have experience this many times and seen many results.
I really like that verse and even if we are persecuted for what we believe we should stand strong and think about this verse. I think every Christian should memorize this verse.
Julie, prayer is pouring out your heart to God. Do not worry about the proper way to worship God. Just do so with your whole heart and God will guide you. Remember God will always provide light for you to walk and the first step will always be a step of faith
Dear Julie; the act of supplicating is a humble entreaty or petition (Collins dictionary). Using familiar things to illustrate; first the ground must be prepared well, and the good seed planted deep; we must rise day and night to water and care for the "new planting" and wait for God to give the increase: first the root goes down, and it begins to sprout; then it grows up, matures and bears fruit.
I am new to the faith , I would like to ask, how do you pray in the spirit and with supplication. I don't know if I am praying properly and praising God correctly. I need some help please.
The more we come to know the Word, the more truth is ours from this passage, "nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day." It is possible to know the Lord so well, that normal living is spiritual living. Not having to work at it. Not having to gin up our faith, but living it, daily.
"..according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus.." We have all read the story of the Beginning many times. Have you wondered then why Adam and the woman were NOT killed outright for their disregard, disrespect, and DISOBEDIENCE; as the LORD warned them of; saying that "In the day you eat thereof, you shall surely die?" Mercy promised through Christ coming let them live and go free.
Ephesians 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 1 Peter 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 1 John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue but in deed and in truth
