Letting God rest in our heart should be our ultimate desire

2 Corinthians 4:4 " In whom the god of this world" Satan is the god of this world.

Psalm 24:1 The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

The earth is the Lord's, God has given Satan power over the earth to do what he pleases according to God's word, will and power. Satan has no power outside of God's will.

Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

God will always be supreme ruler over all He allows Satan to be Satan which is trouble for all in this world But the days are short for Satan and soon he go to bottomless pit forever never doubt God is Merciful and good and has all power

Dear Segun, have a look around you, I think it's obvious.

who do you think is the ruler of this world ?God or Satan

Solomon prayed that if Israel were to be unfaithful and suffer consequences, that if they were TRULY repent, for God to bring them out of captivity. so true repentance is a turning away from doing bad. If we do so, then our God will forgive us and help us no matter what.

Verse 29~We each know the plagues of our heart and what troubles us. We should make these things a matter of prayer to Jehovah God.

Solomon prays and intercedes for his people and the strangers who would come to be among them in this house.

Jesus is watching us all and we need to stop and look at whats going on in this world and pray always these are the days of sorrow this comment is not on this chapter but thats what in my spirit as I read it Amen

In reference to verse 6. I thank God for his covenant, He is not like man who breaks his covenant. Man cannot hold to his promise. Even though Israel kept on sinning, God kept his promise that He made with David.

Before this statement God at one time said David was a man after His own heart hense,this passage is its fulfillment.

Solomon want us to know how to pray sincere prayer to God and not being selfish in our prayer.

Help me into salivation.

Solomon gave a really thoughtful prayer I especially appreciated this part He prayer in detail to Jehovah about the Israelites However he didn t forget to include foreigners those not of Israel to be included if they wanted to search for Jehovah too Food for thought Am I praying for others Even those who may not worship Jehovah I think I could improve in this area for sure
