Ac 27:39 A certain creek with a shore. Rather, "A certain bay with a beach", as in the Revised Version; a sloping beach. Into which they were minded . . . to thrust the ship. Into this they determined to try to thrust the ship, because here the force of the waves would be broken, the water shallow, and the beach favorable for the men's lives.
