28But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Doe thy selfe no harme, for we are all heere. 29Then hee called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell downe before Paul and Silas, 30And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I doe to be saued? 31And they saide, Beleeue on the Lord Iesus Christ, and thou shalt be saued, and thy house. 32And they spake vnto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.

16:30 Sirs - He did not style them so the day before. What must I do to be saved? - From the guilt I feel and the vengeance I fear? Undoubtedly God then set his sins in array before him, and convinced him in the clearest and strongest manner that the wrath of God abode upon him.
