I am blessed with the reading of 1Peter 5:8 indeed we are in end time, that is why there is no peace in the whole world

God really love us on this scripture. God reminds us not to just stay free in this world, we must know that the devil is roaring outside there hunting for someone who he can prove himself to him or to the world that he can own him. Let us stay on prayer always guys so that when the lion which is the devil come find us having power of God

Paul really put it on point on how we should live our lives. While we live in these Hard and Crazy times in this ruthless world, indeed we need to b Sober minded and on the watch out cause the devil is always looking for easy ppl that he can devour and corrupt and turn evil. Its so sad but we can remain wit God if we are sober and Vigilant and not give the devil a chance to devour us.

1 Peter 5:8 our enemy the devil does have an imitating spirit, trying to make himself seem to be more powerful than God. Jesus the lion of the tribe of Judah. Don't be fooled. The devil is a deceiver.

I have been very upset since the passing of my husband on April 12, 2013. I was crying so hard and asking God to help me get through my loss. My question was what should I do. My husband avidly read his Bible and God laid it on my heart that I needed to read the Bible as my loving husband had done. I Peter Chapter 5 Verse 10 was the Bible Verse of the Day on the Bible program in which he had been reading. I feel this was my answer to help me cope with his death. I am still sad but with the strength I get from the Bible and the saving grace of Christ, I know that I will make it through this most difficult time in my life. Pray for me.

I�m a living witness that if you really cast all and I mean all your cares on God he will take care of you. I lost my only son in 2009, and I did not know how to go on but when I gave that anxiety to God he pulled me through and I am living a victorious life in Christ!!! Praise His holy name!!!

Be sober cause when you drink or do drugs you can't focus on God! Be vigilant when life gets crazy, focus on God's mercy and all the good things He has for us! If you�re drunk stoned, you�re focused on this world instead of God. That's a sin and that soon gives the devil control so he can devour you!

The Lord is all we have and are, he thinks and cares for all that believe in him.

The chapter is very loaded. Verse 10 stands out for me. I recommend that it is everyone's prayer that the God of all grace settle us. Powerful!

I was reading everyone's comments on 1 Peter 5 is wonderful. But when I read the comment from the name of [nneed's] my heart went out to this person I could feel in my spirit he or she needs some of us to hold that person�s needs at Jesus feet. I loved it. It was powerfully inspirational to me; the scripture had a powerful meaning... I understood what Peter was trying to relate to us about the Devil, please send more scripture quotes, God bless those little boy's and girl's who died at the hands of the devil's advocate, in Newtown Connecticut. My heart still mourns for those people and small children... Bless their soul's Amen...

If anyone should read this and you have a true and lasting relationship, if you know God by yourself, if you strive to be the best you can�to live the life God has called you to live, if you do not judge but pray for those who are sinners� I ask that you pray for me. I am starting all over after losing it all. I am striving to do my best�praying that God continues to provide his grace and mercy unto me. I pray for God to be a fence around me, protecting me. I need him, and I Thank him for keeping me. I am unsure what is in store for me, but I beg for God to give me that peace and joy. It�s just me God standing in the need�you know my needs�help me this day Lord God, PLEASE.

Just got done watching what would Jesus do and a verse stand out to me 1 Peter 5, see I�m a foster parent and at times I would warn if I�m doing any good with the children that come in my home. I believe I just got my answer. Thank you, GOD.

I was reading a comment a would like to response 1Pet. 5:8 say be sober if you have a problem with drugs it is not GOD it is of the devil we suffered with CHRIST for the things of GOD.

I am trying to quit drugs and verse 1 peter 5:10 reminds me that the pain of detoxing and withdrawl is temporary, and after awhile I will be better. I keep repeating this verse over and over and it is giving me comfort. I also realize that Jesus suffered for me. I cant live a sober healthy life without some suffering first. God Bless!

its true GOD cares for you and me. This scriptures remains me that i should not worry about anything because GOd cares for me.

"worries make us ill.."..people,individuals has many worries..money,studies,family but this verse reminds me that we have God, our Lord who care for us..so we let the Lord to enter into our lives so He could help us..after all,He is our Father in heaven,He is willing,because He really loves us.:)
