Why did Israel question the false King Absalom and made King Solomon his brother King for his righteousness yet Israel allowed Rehoboam do sinful things? Generation gap? It's sad to see this pattern of good vs evil in generations of Kings.

Curious to read on if Asa overtakes Bahaah King of Israel and restore all 12 tribes as one and follow the God again.

The heart of the matter is the matter of the heart v.14 . This is very crucial because Jeremiah 17:9 says: "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? " except God. Therefore, God is still calling everybody even till today to come to Him through the Lord Jesus Christ for a new heart today.

Verse 34~It is important for those taking the lead to set a good example because people in general follow the example of those who have authority over them.

    V. 23 - Asa's feet being 'diseased' refers to the fact that Asa did not walk in the paths of God's righteousness in his old age. It's the same with Josiah, he made a league with - somebody? and the ships they built - God destroyed before they could even use them.

In verse 13 Asa even removed his grandma from her position because she made an obscene idol.

As to Asa not removing the high places out of Israel, could that referring the fact that he did have control over the ten tribes.he removed all the idols here he had the authority?

"A PERFECT HEART TOWARDS GOD" - Both David and Asa both were described as having a "PERFECT HEART TOWARDS GOD", As we can see, they both had their moments of indiscrection. However, GOD, being greater than our hearts, knows the intentions also. There is none righteous, for all have sinned. Don't allow Satan, to use your shortages towards righteousness, as a means to give up. Keep fighting the Good Fight. For there was only ONE PERFECT, AND his name IS, AND WAS "JESUS".
