The people who are called by GOD's name are those who believe in HIM, for the scripture says in Hebrews 11:6 for without Faith it is impossible to please GOD and those who come to HIM must believe that HE IS and that HE is a rewards them that diligently seek HIM.
The second sentence of verse 14 states."A people that are called by my name." Taking it literally it seems as there would be a people know as I Am, Lord Almighty, Yahway, etc. So, who are the people that are called by the Lord's name? From the Scriptures we know it was ancient Hebrews later to be called Israelies. But that is not the Lord's name. And explanations?
I Chronicles 7:38 this seems to be the genealogy of the father of Caleb and one of the tribes of Israel, but there also seems to be some mixed blood of non-Jewish descendants as well.
